Can you download photo's onto your computer that have been taken on a holiday for instance, and they have been catagorised into a sub-folder on the iPhone?
The photo's are only on the phone, and not on the computer as of yet, and i only want to download the sub folder.
Is there any way to add folders to mail on my Iphone. I need to be able to keep some of my mail for awhile and it seem that I end up accidently deleting it or it disappears from my phone. I would like to move the mail I need to keep to a different folder so that this doesn't happen
Do we know how iPhone OS 4 will handle apps that are lumped into folders and have badge icons (via push notifications or otherwise)?I'm hoping there will be an option for the folder to have its own badge icon that sums all the badge icons in the folder. It would be nice to lump applications that get badge notifications into one folder. This would at least provide some form of notification management until Apple solves the problem. Granted this won't work for applications that use the badge icons for things like temperature.
Just curious, what auto-name titles for folders have you guys found? Im talking about the name apple makes automatically, not one you change it to. So far I have found:
I have three accounts and it always seems to default to one of my lesser used accounts. I have deleted and re-created all accounts making the primary account first but no such luck.
I have over 1000 apps. I have them neatly packaged in folders of 12 on my iPhone 4S. When I do a restore (which it seems I have to do, as per Apple Support, three times so far in order to resolve my problems). Each time I do, I lose my folders so that I have to go back and "package" my "1000 plus" apps all over again. Is there any way I can restore the iPhone 4S so that my folders of 12 apps each remain intact?
I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1, Windows Ultimate 64 bit
Is there a way to show email from all my differnt folders in one main folder. I use exchange and have rules on my computer that based on who its from it goes to a certain folder. When I view my email on iphone I have to go to each folder individually. Anyway to see all unread mail in one folder?
Is there any way for me to organize my email into folders? Right now my mail is simply listed newest first and is very unorganized making it difficult to use. If I could set up folders that I could put mail in, that would be perfect.
I have 2 folders in my pictures that need to be deleted. I have tried everything aside from resetting the phone to factory settings.Itunes doesn't even show the folders so I can't uncheck them The phone doesn't give me the option to delete the folders either Is there anything else I can try - even tried the importing pictures and deleting and those 2 folders don't show up?
I just recently got an iphone 4s and am just wondering how to set up folders/groups, like the existing one for utilities? do I do that on the phone, or do I have to set it up initially through the sync menu in itunes?
I have an iPhone 5 and I use the mail application quite a lot, and I also like to sort my mail into folders after I have read it. I know how to create a new folder, but I don't know how to delete an old folder (I've been using the same email account for a few years now and a lot of my folders are organised into friends from my old school who I don't keep in touch with anymore). If I tap on an older folder and click delete, it just states there and doesn't delete.how to delete a folder.
Would it be possible to have passcode protected folders in IOS. In other words a second layer of security to open up certain apps that you want to either keep private or restrict anyone else that has your phone or tablet from accessing. For example, I might want to have some financial apps or shopping apps on my phone or tablet and then I let my son use my phone (or tablet) to play some games. As they are kids they explore and end up accessing and maybe even buying something by accident!
Can you create albums/folders to store photos? I noticed when you view your photos it say "albums", but the only album is the camera roll, IE all your photos.
Had this discussion witha few parents. We have some apps or movies on the iphone to keep kids entertained / busy and if we turn our backs - the kids have pushed buttons and wandered all over, changed settings, etc. How about Apple creates a folder that you can assign a password needed to LEAVE that folder & associated apps? So - this is Junior's folder, kids can play and explore within that boundry and my Calander, notes, schedules, to do and contacts are all off-limits.
I have an iphone 4s on 5.0.1, I recently reset my settings and restored and now I cannot get my apps to sync to folders. I arrange them how I want them on iTunes and then I try to sync it, and the sync process finishes and my apps are thrown about all over the home screen pages, in no particular order. It adds some apps to folders, but most are thrown about randomly. I have no idea whats causing this.
During a syncing event a few days ago, all pictures didn't sync in their proper folders . I want to erase all pictures from the iphone and resync them from my pc . How do i remove all my pictures from my iphone ?
I love to organize my photos as albums on my iOS devices, but I keep them organized by folders on the Mac, so that other users with Windows PCs can view these shared folders too at my house.
I would love to export the photos from my iPhone/iPad to my Mac, with the albums created on the iOS to specific folders on my Mac.
