IPhone :: 4s Refuses To Sync Apps To Folders?
Apr 9, 2012I have an iphone 4s on 5.0.1, I recently reset my settings and restored and now I cannot get my apps to sync to folders. I arrange them how I want them on iTunes and then I try to sync it, and the sync process finishes and my apps are thrown about all over the home screen pages, in no particular order. It adds some apps to folders, but most are thrown about randomly. I have no idea whats causing this.

Aug 3, 2010Is anyone else having this problem? Randomly, when I exit an app all of the Apps I have hidden will randomly show up in the springboard. A respring usually fixes this, but the last time I resprung it all of my folders disappeared dumping everything onto the springboard. REALLY annoying. Im trying to figure out what is causing it. Possibly iRealSMS. Anyone else experiencing this?

Galaxy S6 :: Apps And Folders Missing
Aug 23, 2015My s6 (all stock) Is missing 6 folders full of apps. I have the apps in my applications menu, and I can only access them if I go through Google play. A few of the sideloaded ones I can't get to at all. I have tried rebooting numerous times.
It occurred after I updated on Verizon to 5.1.1 and my phone died. After charging a bit, I booted the phone and it went into safe mode. I turned off the safe mode and rebooted, still missing. Booted into safe mode separately... After turn off and reboot. Still the same thing.
None of these apps are disabled...

May 15, 2015So I have two basic things down. In your home screen or the subsequent screens when you move one shortcut on top of another it gives you the opportunity to create a folder. You can even change the color of these folders. I have created an AT&T folder, Google folder, Samsung folder, Microsoft, and Social (Facebook, Instagram, twitter).
But I wanted to create a folder called "media" or "sports" With apps like Pandora, ESPN, Fox news, Milk, Watch ESPN, NBC Live. To get to all of these apps right now they are in the 12 square little white apps logo down at the bottom by the calendar. When I go into my apps that are alphabetical a through Z. and I try to move one on top of the other by holding it down it takes that app and puts it on one of my home screen. I tried dragging it to the right and then I just create another screen with one icon on it. I have a folder in there, trying to figure out how I even did that?? I know if you click the edit button you get a little - up in a corner of each symbol but I don't want to delete them. I would just like to put ESPN on top of Fox 2 Go, and NBC Live And create a folder called "sports."
I thought about dragging all of these onto a blank page and then create my folder there, but how do I move it back under the "app" it is actually 4x4 white squares. It's just confusing going back and forth because it doesn't seem like it wants you to.

Nov 8, 2011very first message here at this forum, I've just got my SGSII 1 week ago :-) wanted to organize all my apps into folders, so I did create folders and distribute them all among them.urious thing is that if all folders fit in one single page and all apps are inside those folders, apps are not shown at all.'m getting thing:If I pinch to see all pages, I can see my page with all the folders:f I touch to select, I'm back at a blank page, as in the first image attached.To see my apps, I just edited them and moved one folder to another page, and now I can see a page with one folder and another with the rest.

Jul 26, 2011I've created a folder on one of my home screens named, "Finance."I've placed about ten apps in said folder (e.g., Quote Pro, Tradefiields, Tip Calc, Bank of America, etc. etc.)I'm attempting to keep like apps together (i.e., all stock apps appearing as the first few apps, followed by "bank related apps, followed by types of calculators, etc.)However, everytime I arrange these apps in this manner, then return later, they are all mixed up, no longer honoring my attempt to categorize them.There is no rhyme or reason as to how they then appear, as far as I can discern.They do not then show up as alphabetized, or any other logical way, ah!, unless by size of app or something like that, you think? all that said, does anyone know of a way to "lock" apps in the order they are placed, so as they remain grouped?

My primary acct. is with Comcast and I have multiple folders set up for organization purposes; receipts, auto, ebay, etc. None of the email apps I've tried recognize any of the folders other than the inbox. Are there any apps out there that support this? Also, every app I've tried seem to only be able access the most recent 45 emails? Why don't they see everything in the inbox?

Dec 16, 2015Before the latest update, most of my apps were organized into folders and some of these folders were placed on the home screens. After the updates, some of the folders are "gone" not only from the home screen but from the apps area. I can see the apps if I go into App Manager, but I cannot open them from there. So I currently cannot find any way to open many apps that I previously downloaded (and app manager says I still have). Strangely, this only happened with some apps and folders but not all . What do I need to do to regain access to these apps?

Sep 18, 2012I have used app groups heavily on my Photon. They always worked great. This weekend I decided to do a factory reset. (My boot time was really really slow). After the FR I tried to set everything up just as it was before. But now I add apps to the app groups and after a little while, most of them disappear from the app group. The apps are all still there and visible in the All Apps view. But I put six app in an app group and a little while later there are only 2 or maybe 3 or none. I tried rebooting and that didn't work. I decided that something might have gone awry with the FR so I did another, but the problem remains.
Everything else with the FR went fine except one thing. The ROM has an older Google+ app with the older icon. I updated it, but the icon didn't change. I ran it and it is indeed the new app. But the old Icon remained. I went into Play Store and uninstalled the update and re-installed it. And when I try to open the app from the Play Store, it says the app can't be found. It works fine from the launcher (stock launcher) but not from the Play store. Then a few hours later, the icon changed to the new icon. This happened with both Factory Resets. It didn't happen to any other app. Everything else is fine... And my boot times are now much shorter.

Nov 20, 2012Since the new JB update I have lost the ability to group email and group text. I used to be able to go to the "To:" field, type in the group name and click it. Now that is all gone. Is there a way to get it back or is this another JB issue?

When I receive a multimedia group text, the texts only show the originators number and not the other Group numbers.

Other suggested truning on Group Conversation or Group Messaging in the settings , but that option does not appear.
The instructions I received are below , but like I said, it did not show up on the settings.Is there a difference in the Android versions that would cause the menu to be different or the setting to located somewhere else?

Aug 7, 2010in your contact list, i cant seem to fin out how to create a group. i am always sending pictures of my daughter to my parents and in-laws, it would make it easy to just type family, instead of finding everyones name.
i have the iphone4 with 4.0.1 on it. i can just have that one text open and it seemed to work well with the how merged texts when everyone replied back, but since the jb that function doesnt seem to work anymore. if someone replies to the text, their text goes to their text section, not to the text file for that conversation.
