My sister is on Sprint right now, and is getting an iPhone.
Can Apple create a new AT&T account and port her number for her?
I'm assuming that when she preorders, she will have to select for in-store pickup, correct?
(Actually, when I preorder for her, as she is a NYC teacher and will not be home til after 5 or 6, and does not have reliable internet access at her school)
I have a line with ATT right now for my iphone (1 year left on contract) and I want to take this number and use it for a new phone on Verizon.
Do I have to cancel my ATT contract in order to do that?
I already have a Verizon account (one line on a family plan) and ideally, I would just switch numbers (Verizon number is moved to ATT and vice versa).
Can I do this without canceling any contracts (i.e. keep my unlimited data plan with ATT & NOT pay ETF)?
i have never pre-ordered a phone before, how dose this work? when june 17th pre-ordering starts do i sign up for the AT&T service at the same time? or do i wait till i get the phone delivered? i want to port my phone number from Verizon and am not sure how this pre-ordering will work regarding getting service.

It's sure that you can't jailbreak an IPhone to work on Sprint or Verizon. I do have an IPod touch and the Samsung Instinct for sprint, but it would be really nice if I could just have them all in one.

I have unlocked my Touch Pro 2 and have tried to call into Boost Mobile Customer Support multiple times any they will not activate it because it's not 'Boost Equipment'. I have told them my new phone is a gift and I don't know what it is and things of that nature but they ALWAYS ask me for the DEC number and I'm not sure how to get around that. I currently have a Sanyo Incognito hooked up to my Boost Mobile Unlimited Monthly account. I need to know if anyone can help me get it activated? When I turned off my Mobile Data and WiFi, and then I run My Verizon app, the 4G LTE symbol pops up on the top of the screen and My Verizon app gives my access to my account. I can check minutes, data, pay bills and every thing. When I leave the app, the 4G LTE icon disappears in about a minute, sometimes it stays longer (even hours) but goes away eventually (and the Mobile Data is off the whole time, btw)
I always thought when the data is off, you cannot have access to the network including your Verizon account. Is HTC One making an exception for My Verizon app?
so I just recently update from 4.7 to 5.0.0.732. I can't get the darn thing to provision to save its life. I don't have BIS/BES since it's on Boost but the data did work before, at one point at least As of right now I can make/answer calls, send/receive SMS. No MMS and no Web, GPS, etc. My status says 1xev and I need it to say 1XEV. Whenever I try to Register Now (Host Routing Table) it never provisions, whenever I attempt to Update Profile, or Update Preferred List it says that it can't complete request. Any options I need to change or steps to take different? BTW Data did work on 4.7 and 5.0.0.6## and people have reported that it does work on .732
View 4 Replies View Relatedokay, right now i have a sprint-branded touch pro on boost cdma unlimited yet am having trouble with features like sprint tv and navigation. voice/text/internet works (for the most part), but sometimes i get the occasional code 67s and #777 errors. i've read elsewhere of folks who have their tps fully working, but can't find any instructions on how they achieved this. i am fairly certain it involves changing some addresses to route differently, and also have my msn, meid, and msl if that helps. can anyone here assist me in this process? for what it's worth, i've searched ppcgeeks and xda in addition to our own forum.

i m using phone 4s (iOS 5.1)i dont know why when some one calls me on FaceTime they revieve a message i m not available for facetime,(at my mobile number)i tested 2 iphones side by side but its same every thing is working i can make call on FaceTime but i cant be recieved at my number a few weeks back it was working fine i dont know what i messed up But i can be recived for FaceTme at my email id(apple)also my Phone number in FaceTime is Greyed i think its verified too... tried all possible things reboot, Network reset,etc imessage is working fine...

When sending i-messages to other i-phones the receiving i-phone shows the original phone number that was supplied with my phone which is not the number used. Does anyone know how to change this number?
