I just acquired a used iPhone 2G. It has been jailbroken and unlocked, but I am not using it as a phone right now. It has been restored and registered. It is connected to wifi and safari and email works fine.
When selecting an App to download from the App Store (I've tried a couple), after pressing the green install button, the button turns into a smaller green rectangle. Press again and it turns into a blue rectangle, and nothing happens.
Iphone will not install apps/updated apps. just stits there and says waiting.. getting aggrivated with my 200 dollar phone, and the apple support ******* just want me to pay for technical support.
My daughter uses our old iphone 2g as an ipod. Recently, she has been unable to install apps that she previously had on the phone. They won't install from itunes either. When trying that way, the icon disappears off the iphone page. These are apps that had worked on this phone previously. Now NO apps will install. I have restored to factory settings without success.
I am trying to buy apps for the first time for my new Iphone. I use my apple ID on Itunes all the time, but when I try to install an app on my new iPhone it says my Apple ID for itunes has never been used before and it wants me to type in credit card info. Is this legit?
I have a few apps I've paid subscriptions too (ForeFlight, MobiTV, etc.) but I plan on doing a clean install of iOS 4 when I get my iPhone 4. Is there any way I can retain those subscriptions on a new install?
I just bought an iPhone 4S. I tried to sync all my favorite apps from iTunes to my new iPhone 4S i just bought. But I don't know what happen that some of apps successfully sync to iPhone 4S and some of the app said "failed to install" on my iPhone screen.
Why does my phone sometime not open apps, they flicker, and just don;t open. I tried the reset, deleted then re-installed. Works for a while, but one app I use tracks mileage and when this happens, I lose the data.
Gives me 3 options: Installed apps.Installation files Installation sett. Now when i click 'Installed apps', nothing happens and i am thrown to the previous menu after 30sec or so. My software version is V 20.0.005.
So this has been going on for some time now. When I install any new apps, once it is finished no icons show up ANYWHERE to shortcut to the program. I go into application managment and its there. For example, the facebook app does not show an icon and I cannot find it even in a "universal search". Yet when I go to application managament, it says its properly installed. I recently did a full wipe on the device including 3rd party apps and still it does the same thing.
I purchased an HTC one m9 used unlocked. As soon as I activated the new sim card it promped me to download OTA updates, but when I try to TWRP won't let me.
no app from the google play store will install. i've restarted the phone, force stopped google play. all i see is the download bar (the green and white bar).

Recently I bought a used N8 which has been working as expected until I noticed that it wouldn't install a single app. When I got the phone the previous user had reset the phone to factory settings and in general tried to turn it back to it's original condition. At first all apps installed without problems. The only app I experienced problems with was Nokia Store, which always got stuck on the loading screen and never opened. Now my N8 hasn't been able to install any apps what so ever, especially no .sis or .sisx files. The installation of .sis or .sisx files results in a error message Unable to install (or something similar in english). The newest software of Symbian Anna is installed on the phone. The only app I've been able to install is one with a .wgz ending.I've tried to reset the phone to factory settings again, reset the device with *#7370# code and held the power button for 8 seconds, and my problem persists.
I have a new Nokia 700. Updated firmware, connected to Telstra, connected to the web but can't install any apps. It downloads then gives error "can't install".
I can't get my C3-00 (with Opera Mini) to install apps. Whether I download them using the phone (like from Ovi.com) or my computer and put them on the phone later, the apps show up under "games" just fine, but when I open them, it says "opening application" and immediately "closing application". just recently i bought a used bb bold 9700 from my frnd.The mobile carrier which he was using was 3 mobile but before selling to me he unlocked the fone.The current operating system is 5.0...i hav not updated it yet.k.coming to the issue i am trying to install watsapp on my fone from my PC but the app is not getting installed...the fone is connected to my PC through bb desktop soft so wen i try to download by from app world website it comes up with this error "An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Web plugin. Please restart your device and try again. If you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable and try again."
i am trying to download and install a few apps but it says i have no space available and i should delete stuff. i have tried to delete everything i can see, but despite the fact i have only BB Messenger, Whatsapp and Blackberry App Manager installed, i still have no space!!
im sure these apps cannot be taking all the device memory (64MB) - so what to do? all vids, pics and audio i have are stored on the memory card.
