Apr 18, 2012Hi I have a problem with my iphone 4S, whilst using facetime I can hear the other person but they cant hear me. visual stuff is fine. the volume buttons (on side) are to max, the phone isnt on silent, i am not clicking the mute button on screen... loudspeaker works during normal calls.... tried hard resets etc, phone is updated, still no luck?

I've changed my both sims and tried another operators sims, the same happended. I've updated the software and do PCC and still the same problem. I can not hear it ringing when someone call, but if I see someone calling and I answer the call they can hear me and I can hear them fine. The volume bar is greyed in itunes, and doesn't even appear in video apps (Youtube and Vimeo).Â

- the sound button is turned on;
- I went through the settings many times: all is ok;
- nothing clogged in headset jack. Phone not stuck in "dock" mode;
- Soft restarted and reset to factory settings/reinstalled latest backup, no result;Â
