Do you guys think I'll have luck within the next couple of days if I check with the stores each morning? Ordering on Apple.com has a 5-7 day wait and I'm hoping not to have to wait that long, because I am having some antenna issues and I'm deathly afraid of dropping the thing.

My findings so far is that it gets far worse reception and dropped calls than my 3GS. In fact, living in miami where ATT signal is strong, I never had any problems with dropped calls on my 3GS. I also have the proximity sensor issue and am wondering if I just received a bad phone.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI went and got a bumper case from my local apple store overall i actually like it a lot but there is one really frustrating problem. The only usb / charger cable that seems to fit into the dock port with the bumper case on is the apple one. I have a couple aftermarket usb cables tha ti use to charge it (one at work and a couple at home and one in my car) they all have just a slightly larger head on them than the stock apple one and will not fit into the dock port with the bumper case on. so is there something out there that is similar to or better than the bumper case which will free up my dock connector?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI received my iPhone 4 on launch day via a pre-order. I am very grateful to have it and to have received it while others still try to get one. Anyway, onto the issue. I had signal drop issues from the get go, occasionally even a few dropped calls. Per Apple's statement and other blog recommendations I bought a case to alleviate the issue. It's the Griffin Reveal. It is a nice case too. Last night I noticed low signal bars after a dropped call and realized I was holding it over the left corner. I let go and up went the bars.
I called care. They opened a case # and gave me the same as anyone else. I was told that I needed a bumper to fix the issue, that they couldn't guarentee with any third party case it would fix the issue. I responded asking why I should give another $30 to fix an issue they know about. I asked if I would recieve and email or call to follow up and they said they didn't know. I will follow up in 2 days and let you know. Is this a ploy to just get people to spend more money? 1.7 million sold in three days x $30 for a bumper = $51 million more for.

View 5 Replies View Relatedthe xoom is meant to be capable of doing 720p at 30fps. This is so not the case. If you look at the playback the recording looses frames and gitters badly. I would say it is more around 15-20fps on average. also the video doesnt seem sharp at all as if the auto focus doesnt work well or is off. but the still camera focuses fine. Will motorola be addressing this issue in the ics update or are they intending on fixing this issue at all. If the camera is truely capable of this frame rate where is the bottle neck? transferring to flash memeory? can motorola make an auto focus slide control on screen selecting in options to turn on and off from manual to auto fofus. this would be good in camera mode. as you can see from the video frame rate drop and video blur. not 30fps..

I currently have purchased a hard case for the phone itself (seidio innocase) as well as a screen protector.Now the next thing that I am looking for is a good Vertical case/pouch.The thing is that it must be vertical and it must be open at the top (I don't want a cover at all.I want to be able to slide the phone in and out easily). I also must have a belt clip on it.I have found a few online, but for what reviews that I have read stated that they are hard to get the phone in and out of when the phone is naked (no case on it). Since I am planning to have the phone in a hard case at all times that particular case will not work for me.
I have seen the pDair case and it looks good, but $28 USD plus shipping (to Canada) I want to make sure that the phone (in a hard case) will fit in it. I havn’t found any reviews on it as of yet either.I know that the iphone & Nexus One are about the same size as the Milestone and wonder if anyone has tried any of those cases with success? As I am sure (especially for the iphone) that there is a wider selection of cases available.

Do you really think that Apple can't cross-reference these things to determine what you're actually entitled to? And SHAME on those who are bragging about how they are getting more than one, as if Apple wants them to have it.
