I have an iphone 3gS which I have just updated to the latest ios. I have also got icloud. Since I've updated its been really slow. When I open an app I get a blank screen for a little while and then the app starts.

View 11 Replies View RelatedIve noticed this for a while on my iphone 4 (IOS 5.1) that it takes about 20 - 30 seconds from when i click on the shaking x to actually get the prompt come up saying are you sure you want to delete this app. Ive got plenty of space left on the iphone (about 1.7GB) so im a little bit confused on why its so slow to delete any app.

Since updating to ios 5 my iPhone 4s has had problems updating and downloading apps. I have a 100 mb/s Internet connection with Telstra and the apps take hours to download. My internet connection works fine with other apple devices as well as home computers. What can I do to fix this?

When i send a message it's painfully slow to update the chat thread, i quite often have to go to the main page and then back in to see it.
Also if i start writing another text against the same or a different contact and the phone finishes its update it deletes anything i have typed already which is really frustrating.
Also if i have several texts to open (say ive been in a meeting at work) the first one opens, but then when i click to go into the next the previous message reloads on the screen.
I only had this phone for 2 months and my phone is going slow like right know its freezing while I type, and my game center isn't loading any more

I've had my Storm 2 for about 5 months now and at first it was running awesome-ly. Now, if I type to fast during a message of any sort, it'll freeze on that screen and I won't be able to do anything until I hit the back button and re enter the message I was writing to finish it. Also, I've noticed that apps crash a lot, and that overall, it is just much slower. I'm very good about closing apps when I'm done with them, so I don't really know where this lag could be from.

I downloaded a few apps and all of a sudden it started showing the little loading clock on almost everything I ran, so I deleted a few apps and voala!. It was working good again. But now, I have not downloaded any new apps and is giving me that clock againg.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy phone has gotten to where when I am typing a text message it'll get so slow and almost freeze up and just stop and I got to wait and let it come back before I finish. I am running .131 on my Alltel 8330. Also, the 507 error I believe it is, happens to me a lot & I have had to completely reinstall the whole OS so many times. My battery doesn't really last very long at all. It doesn't compare to many that I hear about & my signal just isn't that great. Sometimes it runs good & won't really be that slow or lag but these past couple days it has been lagging bad & even with scrolling. Memory is NOT an issue I can reboot up with 45 & it'll go down to around 39 throughout the day.
I've tried .127 OS that my phone came with, used .131, used a hybrid before and tried .169 but the notification problem is too annoying.

For the past few months my phone has been slowing down to a stand still. I did a restore about a month ago. That did not help. I removed all pictures, videos, most of my apps, but this is still slow. Since February 2012 when you slide the phone to open all the apps look like they are updating. I get the box with the blue line under the app. Some times it will ask for my itunes password. I am unable to repspond to text messages because I cannot get the phone to give me the keys to type. I have to wait for it to load and load and load. I just don't understand. I cannot answer the phone most times unless I make sure the phone never goes to sleep.
I cannot add any info into ical. I get ical to open hit the +sign and it just sits. If it gets a little further I cannot type in the info. If I finally get to type in the info I cannot press done on the top of the phone. It will just sit there. I also notice that if I update my iPad or add an app to the iPad my iPhone asks for my itunes password as soon as I open my phone? Sometimes I cannot even open my phone I slide it to unlock it but it just hangs. I restart it but I still get the same thing. I have the newest software and I have 8 gb available so I should have enough space.

I visited our capital a few weeks ago and noticed that my phone was timing out whilst trying to laod Facebook app.Thought it was the location we were in. But since we have got back home its no better. It doesnt snap to on Wifi anymore either but is bearable. The phone is nearly 12 months old. Have replaced the sim today but its not any better.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI felt like there was no difference with the speed of the ip4 than my 3gs. I gave my 3gs to my daughter and the other night she needed to me get her signed up for netflix. There is a significant difference. I thought she had did something to cause the speed to slow down so I restored her phone It was a little faster but not like my ip4. She doesn't have the jailbreak because for some reason I can't jailbreak her phone. I do have the jailbreak and even though I notice a slight lag it is still faster at opening apps than the 3gs. I knew there was a difference in the display but I didn't realize it was so big of a difference. I sometimes wonder did I just jump on board with buying the ip4 because besides the hardware it wasn't that big of a difference. But now I see there is a huge difference. The 3gs is a great phone but the ip4 is a much better phone. It is smoother and definitely faster and you can't beat the retina display. And by the way I never had any problems with the antenna because I immediately put my phone in a case for protection even before I heard about atennagate and I always use a bluetooth or headset for my phone so if I have the issue with the ps I never noticed.
View 23 Replies View RelatedI have a 32GB iPhone 4 with about 2GB free and recently updated to iOS 5.1. It has become noticeably slower since updating it. There are some short delays with certain apps, some have become jerky and the Home button isn't as sensetive as it used to be. But the worst part is the camera and the photos app. The camera takes For to load before it's ready to take a picture, and switching to video takes even longer. I've waited up to a minute before either one is ready for use and sometimes have to wait 10 seconds between shots! Also the Photos app has become really buggy and will sometimes crash, especially if I try to edit a picture. This is not cool. I've tried turning the phone off and on. I've tried resetting it (Home+Power buttons). Next I'm ready to try throwing it in a bucket of water to see if that might work.

I just received my phone and very seldom has more than 1 bar, the battery drains VERY quickly, it is difficult to access the internet/ facebook and syri always says she can not help me right now, try back later. Anyone else have these issues.My husband has the exact same phone and we will be sitting next to each other, he has 2plus service bars and I have no service. His syri works just fine.

My iPhone 3gs has become slow and sometimes unresponsive. There are boxes around the areas I press and when the phone turns on there's a box around the time at the top of the screen. When I press on the "slide to unlock" area a box appears around the banner holding the slide bar, the bar will slide along slowly and then once the keys for entering the password comes up boxes appear around the keys I press but the numbers won't enter into the password so I am unable to lock my phone. I am not quite sure what to do, I have seeked answers online but cannot find any.
