I have a few questions about the Wireless Keyboard that Apple manufactures.I have just gotten an iPhone 4 and i'm thinking of picking one of these up for emailing, taking notes, forum browsing etc.Just seeing if anyone has any personal experience with using one of these with an iPhone.
I know I can use wireless mirroring with iphone4S and apple TV. Then, is it possible to use wireless mirroring with iphone to non-apple device? (For example, using application) If not possible, isn't there any technical way to realize it? Or totally impossible even by developing those kinds of applications?
Is the Nokia Wireless Keyboard SU-8W (Bluetooth 1.1) compatible with my Nokia 700 (Bluetooth 3.0)handset running Symbian Belle? It is not listed under the supported devices of the keyboard, however I believe that it should function without problem since I have seen people use it with iPhone 4 and iPad. url...
I just picked up a MiFi 4G device and I carry it at all times. However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?
The story so far: I bought an accessory in Nov 2011 at an Apple Retail Store. (Philips dual-dock speaker) It started malfunctioning in Mar 2012. (Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?
I made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?
Just got my torch last night! yayyy! I did read in one of the threads there is a way to bring the virtual keyboard down by swiping up and down (I think). But when I do that, I always open the manage connections option. Can someone explain how to get it to show wo opening the physical keyboard?
I'm probably moving to central Florida in the next few month from the UK. I have an iPhone 4 and my Wife has my old 3GS, she currently uses pay as you go with the cellular data turned off on the phone and I have a £35 per month 600mins unlimited data o2 plan.
Both phones are legitimately unlocked.
Anyone know what the best tariffs / carriers are and what my options will be?
I was also wondering if it would be best to sell the unlocked 3GS once we get to the states and get her a 4 as (I believe) officially unlocked iPhones are hard to come by in the US and it might be worth enough that we'd get enough money to get her a locked 4.
Just looking for advise so any would be appreciated.
Whenever I press the home button to open my iPhone I notice it will still say 3G and within a few seconds change to the wifi icon. Am I mistaken that wifi should stay running even when the phone is closed?
My Mac does but the phone won't. It recognizes the network but won't load a page. I've tried resetting the phone and the router and 'forgetting' the connection on the phone.
In the media event this past Wenesday, Steve told us all about the upcoming iOS 4.2 and how "it'd be all about iPad". After listing some new features he announced it'd be avaible for iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad. Does this include wireless printing on all devices? My iPhone 4 is basically my computer and the ability to print from it would be awesome. Just wanted to know what people thought.
Tether a wireless router? With jail break 3GS 3.1.3, can one connect it to a wireless router that has a USB port for an aircard, but instead of using an ATT aircard, use the iphone w/ a USB card ? Would like to do this because for my purposes I have both laptop an desktop running, but use them for different things.
So I've checked and double-checked this. When connected via wireless N to my dual-band Time Capsule (2nd gen), after maybe 5-10 minutes of Face Time, the "call" drops, and I get an error that I have no wifi connection! A second later, the wi-fi connects (the 3G symbol switches to a wifi symbol).I have NO issues running Face Time over just wireless G connected to my Time Capsule. What's going on here? Has anyone else experienced this?
