IPhone :: Use Wireless Mirroring With 4S And Apple TV?
May 8, 2012
I know I can use wireless mirroring with iphone4S and apple TV. Then, is it possible to use wireless mirroring with iphone to non-apple device? (For example, using application) If not possible, isn't there any technical way to realize it? Or totally impossible even by developing those kinds of applications?
I have a few questions about the Wireless Keyboard that Apple manufactures.I have just gotten an iPhone 4 and i'm thinking of picking one of these up for emailing, taking notes, forum browsing etc.Just seeing if anyone has any personal experience with using one of these with an iPhone.
I just picked up a MiFi 4G device and I carry it at all times. However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?
i know i can get an app for desktop mirroring for the ipad but i was wondering if anyone knew of a way to do it on iphone. What im really wanting to use it for is mirror the hulu on my mac to the phone and use the cable to show it on my TV without forking over 10 bucks a month or having to run the cable to my computer.
I want to buy the hdmi adapter for my iphone in order to play games like family fued, wheel of fortuane on the big screen but I'm not seeing the option when you swipe to the right twice on the home screen. Is it becasue I don't have it plugged into the adapter or what?
After updating to 7.1.2 and updating my apple TV to latest version, my airplay mirroring doesn't work anymore. I can still airplay movies, pictures, music but i can't mirror my screen anymore.Â
On my z2 I used screen mirroring on my Sony tv. It took I while to connect but eventually did. When using my z2 seeing the output on my tv was great only that there were delays in my input and video had lag.
This is happening now that I have the new lollipop update. As before everything was fine. Don't know if there is a solution to this or its because of the lollipop software update?
I have an LG smart tv. I mirror my work phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 mini) just fine with a hit of a button in the phone settings. I noticed that my M8 doesn't have the screen mirroring option. How to screen mirror?
I've Upgraded from sony xperia z1 to xperia z3 4 months back.I also use a Sony Bravia KLD-W900A in Living room. I used Screen Mirroring with my xpera Z1 to Bravia TV which worked without a hiccup till I replaced it with xperia z3.Whenever I Connect xperia z3 with Bravia TV It lags and also has hardtime playing videos, music or just scrool some photos. It sometimes trakes 1 seconds to just load a full photo on TV screen which never happened with my xperia z1 .
i have got a problem with screen mirroring to a samsung smart tv with my xperia z2. I get no sound after screen mirroring the video works fine but no sound on tv or smartphone anymore.
More problems with the Z3. So in addition to no tethering ability the Xperia range doesn't screen mirror either. Tried doing it on a kindle fire stick, I have an image but no sound. Same with my friends Z1. The Samsung galaxy my friend has works fine though.
My z5 premium cant screen mirror to my bravia today , my phone and TV just showing preparing and after minutes the TV shows nothing the phone gives me the notification saying that 'screen mirroring session disconnect'Â , it worked well today before .
I have only recently upgraded from the Sony Xperia Z1 to the Z3+ and one of the major issues I seem to have is it will not let me mirror my screen onto my Sony Bravia TV, this always worked great with my Z1 and the TV is the same and no changes to my WiFi, I am not sure if this is an issue on all of them, but my workmate has a Z3 and he said he has the same issue. I also see the Z3+ has Cast Screen which doesn't work on my TV either, the only way I can get it to work is through YouTube or through a paid app called AllCast. Which I had on Z1 but didn't install it on Z3+ until I noticed it wouldn't let me mirror screen through phone
The phone apparently does not support HDMI over USB-C and I need to find a way to mirror my screen via HDMI.
My car has an HDMI input to the head unit and it was just recently found to have a bypass in it so that the HDMI will work while driving. I do not want to watch videos while driving but I do want Google maps/waze to be shown on my head unit screen as the car's standard navi is terrible.
I have tried using Chromecast but the Chromecast does not work unless the car is connected to WiFi. Using my phone as a hotspot was a workaround up until an update to the Chromecast was said to cause it to crash. So this option is out.
What I would like to do ideally is buy an HDMI miracast dongle to mirror the screen as it uses WiFi direct. If I go into settings>WiFi>menu>advanced I see the WiFi direct menu but it looks incomplete.
I did some searching and saw that there was a way to edit the build.prop on the nexus 6 to allow for miracast.
Well, I would like one video to play on my tv from galaxy s6. First of all I dont know how to enable screen mirroring on my TV. Secondly I don't know how to enable on my phone.
I got an s5 a little while back and just recently learned about screen mirroring and wanted to try it so I bought a new Windows display adapter and can't get it to work, my wife had an s4 and it works perfectly with her phone. Then I tried screen mirroring to my cousins phone and couldn't get that to work either, he has an s5 as well. What am I doing wrong?! I've tried everything I know to try and it's like my phone just isn't capable or something....!
It's a Samsung Galaxy S5 from AT&T.I've been having a problem screen mirroring. I can connect pretty easily but almost every time I do I see a lot of pixelating. Like, if I open up the Facebook app and screen mirror, it pixelates a lot. I can definitely see this with pictures. And videos are definitely unviewable for me.
How can I fix this? Is there a setting I should adjust on my TV, Roku 3, or Android that needs to be changed?
I'm trying to setup the HDMI mirroring from my Photon, but can't get it to work. When I hook the hdmi cable to the phone, something happens because the Motorola logo shows up on the TV, but I don't get a prompt to select mirroring or video out. From what I've read, that's what I expected would happen.Any ideas what could be happening? Could this possibly be a defect in the phone? Some software setup issue? The only HDMI setting I can find is hte display area, and changing that doesn't affect this.
Motorola, as a user of the Atrix, the webock and the lapdock, I think it would also be very useful if you would look into enabling HDMI mirroring in an update.
So I tried to mirror Galaxy S6 to Samsung ue48h6400 and I got this error in my phone "Unable to connect to screen mirroring due to hardware issue". Is there any fix for this? I heard this is due to rooting. Maybe there's some third-party app that is able to mirror my device to TV? I'm sure unrooting would fix it, but I don't want to do it.
Just got the Nexus 6P , after years with Samsung note series... I was wondering , is there anyway in Nexus 6P to do screen mirroring over the wifi ? without any dongle?
I tried the Cast option , but it did not recognize my Sony tv which is connected to the same WIFI network, while the Samsung note had that "screen mirroring" option built in, is there anything equivalent in the Nexus?
I have a Z5 Compact and a Sony Bravia TV (new generation). Setting up screen mirroring works great. However, when I try to play videos on the phone/TV, the performance is very bad. Basically, I cannot watch films without severe interruptions.  Is screen mirroring not meant to stream video? What could be the issue? Both the TV and the Phone are connected to a wireless router (from Apple).Â
