I just bought my iPhone 4s mere hours ago, and it worked great the first time I used to to call people and everything, but now suddenly every call I make or recieve seems to just randomly end. I don't know why it's doing it, some of the calls are long, yes, but I don't think that the phone should just be randomly dropping every single phone call. Is there a setting in my phone that will change this, or do I need to go back to my carrier and just replace it or what? There is no error message or anything displayed after the call drops.
Im loving the Galaxy SII but, 9 times out of 10, when I try to make a call, the call ends within 2 seconds, The phone appears to dial but then the call ends. The reception seems good (4 of 4 bars) and HSPA connection. I have tried a new sim card and reseting the phone to factory settings. But the problem persists. I also have intermittent problem of the phone not receiving incoming calls.
Sometimes when I try and end a call the blackberry does not let me do it and hangs and displays the clock cursor. This is annoying and only happens sometimes and only if I hang up the call first.
When I make a phonecall and takes the phone to the ear the screen turns off, like any other phone. But when i am finishing the call and removes the phone from my ear the screen wont turn on. It is really annoying and i often leave 2 min. blank voicemails because i cant end the call. Do I have a faulty foto sensor or is it just the front camera??
Recently whenever I press my home button the screen takes 3-4 seconds to load, I am regularly being thrown out of internet browsers and the keyboard often disappears when typing.
I have uninstalled all recent apps downloaded, cleared more memory space, ran anti virus and anti malware to no avail.
I was prepared to do a backup and then factory reset and have found that my HTC One is in a constant state up "backup in progress and options to change backup account and reset phone are greyed out.
I know this is a real stupid question, but on this phone I am always dialing wrong numbers, and have problems ending calls. If I browse the phone list from the left phone button when it auto launches a number if I hit a number by accident.I do not want to auto dial anything. Also when I hit the right phone button the bold says continue call. It does not disconnect me. How to I quit a call period.I am always leaving someone connected because I did not hang up, disconnect the phone call.
I have an installation of "DataWatch" from the Nokia Store that initially failed when my phone lost service in the middle of installation. Nothing I do seems to stop it from showing installation in progress in the store "says 'Installing.'
I've tried power off/on. I've tried holding the power button down for 10 seconds for the "completely power off" option (E7-00.) Given the amount of time required to put things back, I don't want to do a soft reset or a hard reset.
Since i tried putting music on my Nokia 500, the phone has always given me the message "Media transfer in progress" when I access music player. I even removed the music and now the library has 0 files but still "Media transfer in progress."
I have been having this peculiar problem with my blackberry torch 9860 smartphone for the past 1 week. After finishing a voicecall, in many situations the phone does not disconnect even if I press the end call button repeatedly. It just seems to "hang" for 30-40 seconds and then disconnect. Sometimes it dosconnects only if the person at the other end hangs up.
Every time when I want to end my call and take the phone off my ear I have to wait about 3 seconds for screen to turn back on so I can press end call button.
I've aquired a N900 with the never ending flashing dots boot problem. I've tried reflashing it a couple of times from my windows 7 laptop but no luck. I did get it to boot into the OS once, but turned it off to insert the SIM and had the same problem again. Is there anything I can try to get this thing working properly again?
As Nokia seems to have changed the model for licensing, I can't be the first person to think of simply creating a free downloadable license with an expiration date in 2099 specifically for those of us running 3.01 on E* that aren't yet on the compatibility list. The app runs fine, but I don't get little voices because of the license renewal issue that I've not enjoyed (in the US) previously. Perhaps I'm underestimating the difficulty of doing that, or perhaps 3.01 doesn't know how to do date math beyond a year.
I was doing a regular update of the BB apps yesterday late evening, as per the notifications received by the App World. However, the phone shutdown suddenly, and it tried to reboot. It has since failed to boot up, and keeps on shutting down, while trying to reboot. The progress bar always reaches approx. 95%+, and then it starts again. I have already done Battery pull etc., and connected it with a charger - but so far no luck with it. Connected it to the laptop as well - but it does not recognize it either. I have a backup from a couple of weeks ago, so I am wondering, how I can reset the device and restore to an earlier backup? This is a month old Torch 9800 device.
I just having trouble with my Xperia Z3, when i'm in a call the screen blacks out as normal when you place the phone to your ear but when you want to end the call the screen wont light back up, and pushing the power button a few times to light up the screen does not work until you've mashed it about 10 times.
I am exchanging text messages with my husband and my daughter between the three of us and then my husband's answer would suddenly come back to me in the thread where there is just the two of us talking? That happened on several occasions and not with this set of senders only.
I am three days new to my photon but, I am having one major problem so far. I am on a call and another call comes in, I switch to the new call.... talk for a second and switch back to the first call. I then see that the second call has not hung up from my phone so I switch back and press end call. Both calls hung up! How do I hang up the second caller without getting rid of both callers?
Ocassionally I encounter a complete lockup after getting ready to disconnect from a phone conversation. Either the screen shuts off or the screen is on but unresponsive. I tap all over and the phone will not hang up. I have to pull the battery on hard lock-ups. Maybe they will fix this in a new release?
I have my lumia 800 for a week, and now its happening something strange.. When I'm in a call for some time, and I want to end it the phone doesn't let me. Its still responsive, I can go to the start screen, etc.. but the phone call remains on top with the message "ENDING". After a couple of minutes the phone freezes completely and reboot.
I hope this hasn't been asked before; if it has and I searched on the wrong keywords, my apologies. Is it possible to set the Lumia 710 up so that it ends a current call when I press the button on top of the phone to put it into standby mode?
I've been caught a couple of times when leaving voicemail messages by the fact that I press the button, the 'phone plays a "ker-lick" noise and the screen goes black; but when I switch it back on again, the connection's still open and the call is still on-going.
Normally, this isn't an issue, as the call ends when the other party puts their phone down, or the voicemail reaches the end of the available message time; but I recently called someone who's got an honest-to-goodness answerphone on the shelf next to their phone, and it was happy to leave the connection open for well over an hour. As a result, I've just received a bill from my provider costing two-and-a-half times as much as usual - money I can scarce afford as I'm currently "resting" between jobs.
It would be neat if switching the phone off (or, at least, putting the phone on standby) ended the current call.
I have the craziest damn bug you've ever heard... I have a ringtone that plays when a call comes in, answer the phone - the ringtone turns off, as expected. However, after I hang up, the ringtone will continue to play. I can adjust the volume, but since it's a ringtone, I don't know of an app to open to change it, other than opening my phone, calling voicemail, hang up, and still the ringtone persists (good thing I like the song — Brian Setzer and Jeff Beck's version of "Twenty Flight Rock".)
Powering off the phone is the only thing that can make it work and it seems to occur more often when the phone is charging (charged?) and plugged in (vs Qi charging).
I got used to end calls quickly that way in Android 1.6 and it worked pretty well for me for several moths. I actually found it a very good idea, one of the best and most intuitive since I started to use it.ow I often do not end my calls properly and that cauese me a lot of trouble. Local SE customer support told me that it is a firmware matter and cannot be changed. Isn't there any HW buttons configurator or another way to configure the HW buttons on the phone?
I purchased a new Droid X2 around 2 weeks ago and I have found a couple of very annoying audio issues. At the begining and ending of any audio operations there is a very noticable and annoying "pop" sound. It doesnt matter what kind of operation you are doing and it is very noticable. I have added a few recordings of the pop for anyone who is interested. Also I have noticed even when there is no audio operation going on there is a noticable electronic multi pitched hum/squeel which seems to match the workload of the phone at that time. I have done a factor reset, swapped speakers, cords, etc but the problem persists.
I was on a call. My call waiting function told me that another call was coming in, but it also ended my first call. How do I continue my first call when I receive notification of another call with call waiting?
iPhone 4 (iOS 7.1) -- Found 4 Face time calls listed as missed, but I never received any audible alert that a call was attempted When I discovered the missed calls, had my husband call me on Face Time and it rang through properly. The 4 missed calls were all from my daughter, who is listed in my contacts; all came in one after the other (not at different times).
I live in Downtown Los Angeles, so reception isn't a problem. I usually always get full bars. However, when talking on long phone calls 20+ minutes with full bars, my phone will just cut off and say call failed. Then I have no reception, then it just comes back.
Is this a iPhone issue or a ATT issue? I have an odd suspicion it's my phone because it occurs so frequently, but Ive had difficulty asking the apple bar to replace my phone just because of reception issues.
