Motorola Droid 4 :: Adjust Media Volume When Car Docked?
Apr 29, 2012I have the OEM Motorola Car Dock connected with the combined USB audio/power cable. Whenever I dock my Droid 4, the media volume changes to a default setting (somewhere around 90% of max if I had to guess) and cannot be changed with the volume buttons.
This is a huge problem for me as it causes distortion from my car speakers; I need the media volume to be less than ~70% to prevent this.
If I connect the phone via the 3.5mm jack instead of USB, the media volume can be adjusted normally and I can avoid the distortion...but that requires two cables instead of one and I'd have to connect/disconnect the 3.5mm cable every time I am in my car.
tl;dr Is there any way to change the media volume setting when using the USB port for audio output?

Feb 7, 2013When I dock my Razr HD (JB 4.1.2) to my genuine Motorola car dock, my music will automatically route to the car speakers, which is what I want but for incoming and outgoing calls the audio goes to the phones external speaker by default. I can touch the speaker button that then routes the audio to the car speakers but how do I make call audio route to the car speakers by default and not the phones external speaker?If there isn't a setting I can change then maybe an app that will do it for me?

The contact also has a picture, and a custom ringtone.When I phone the N8 from the home number, it doesn't use the custom ringtone, it doesn't show the picture, and when I look in the log, it hasn't recognised the call as coming from my contact, but it has got the correct phone number (proving that I'm not masking the number on calls from the home landline).
Is there something special I have to do to persuade the N8 to accept UK landline calls, and match them up with my contacts? Nov 3, 2011When I receive a sms message sometimes, the original text comes through fine.However, a few minutes later I get small bits and pieces of the original message sent to me in about 10 separate text messages ( sometimes more ) from a California telephone number (I live in Mass.). To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. My dilema is it's going to take me 2+ hours and lots of expense to get to the store on the 24th, the last thing I want to do is turn up at lunch time (about when i'd finally arrive) to find out they've sold mine / sold out.

Apr 17, 2012We have purchased SSL Certificates from verisign to do 802.1x authentication. However when attempting to connect I still receive the "Not Trusted" Certificate message. In testing I have e-mailed all of the seperate certs to myself to see for sure which one in the chain is not trusted. I find that the Root Certificate "Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5" dated 11/7/2006 to 7/16/2036 is the one that mis matches the one in on my phone. I read that the key for the cert http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5012 doesnt match the one directly from Verisign therefore verisign cert isnt trusted.
