my son attempted to unlock my Iphone 4 after I changed the passcode. He tried so many times that it disabled my Iphone. I know the passcode, but it will not allow me to enter it. How can I fix this issue? This seems to be a common issue, but the only thing I see that can be done is to reset your Iphone which will delete everything. I have pictures on it I can't lose.

Changed my passcode lock from letters back to numbers. I know what numbers i picked for the lock but the phone won't let me in! Tried a number of combinations but none worked! Has it ever happened that an iPhone won't let you in with the correct passcode? Does it usually malfunction when you switch back to numbers? And most importantly - is the only solutioin to reset the phone???

I accidentally locked my phone last night and this morning I wanted to use my phone but, it was asking for a passcode. I didn't remember a passcode and thought if I did I'd make it something really simple like 0000 but, it wouldn't open it. I used a new phone number and a new blackberry apps world id, but with the same blackberry 9900. Aparently, I could not log into the phone, and so the phone is locked with an unknown id and password. So, the only thing the phone could do is to format all the bbm contacts etc, while I really need all the contacts.

Right now when I press key lock, my wallpaper shows for a few seconds, but then it switches to the big clock. How to I get it to stay on my wallpaper and not show the clock? My main problem (besides lag) is that my phone keeps going to Mute either when I grab it or whatnot, I'm not sure. I keep on Vibrate and keep it in my shirt pocket typically (at work). It seems that handling my phone I somehow change the speaker modes without knowing it. Is there any way to lock the mode so that it won't change when the phone is locked? I don't mind being able to change the volume of audio output when the screen is off but for it to be able to switch to Mute or On is not something I want.

I read on the front page how others were having the proximity issue like I was and that if you did a reset of settings then it could fox it. So I went ahead and did that. I went in and started changing all my settings back and I realized that the only option I had for my passcode was to require it immediately and not after 5 min like I usually do. I've done some searching and saw that a google or exchange account could cause this. But I only have mobile me.So that can't be it. The only other option I've seen is to do a complete restore.Whig I'd really like to stay away from. Does anyone have any ideas?
