The phone was bought from the apple store unlocked, it's been almost 6 months. I download an upgrade that is supposed to fix bugs, and I loose the main phone function ? this product is a joke or what ? apple must be aware of this....

The phone function of my 4G iPhone with ios7 suddenly stopped working. I cannot call out or receive calls. The speaker works, and I am not in airplane mode. I am connected to Wifi internet. I love the camera on my phone, and constantly use the focus function with the trackpad. It suddenly stopped working - and I cant figure out why. Went through all the options, did a reboot, removed the battery etc - same result. The trackpad works on the bottom menu items, but it used to be that I could use it to focus in and out (up and down).

I've Just completed the Official ICS Upgrade on my MZ616 Asia/Pacific model (purchased in Singapore). It Appears that Motoprint is broken after the upgrade? Attempting to print - results in an error "Unfortunately Motoprint has stopped" the only options given are to "Report" or "OK" the error message. Motoprint is up to date (Version 5.0.0.26) - and no updates appear to be available on Play Store. Accessing Motoprint through the settings menu gives the same error.

I cannot send or receive picture messages. I had a similar problem when I first got the phone but I solved it by switching "Cellular Data" ON (did not know b/c it's my first iPhone). Anyway, has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI also had this problem since I upgraded my 3GS on Thursday. I did a full restore from a backup, and my internet still wasn't working. Like others, my WiFi was working though. From information I gleaned, it's either corrupt APN settings, or I think in my case (I checked and my APN settings were blank), that updating it just deleted them altogether.
On your phone tap Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network.
If it's all blank like mine, you need to find out your carriers APN settings and input them. Restart the phone, and it should work.
After upgrade to iOS 5.1 the video out is not working!

today i tried listening to music on my iphone 4s,only to find that my volume adjuster had disappeared.and just to clarify,when i say that it disappeared,i mean that when i press the volume buttons on my phone,i see the speaker icon but the gauge bar is gone. i tried to test if this issue was only happening in one place, by checking out if i could adjust my volume through my Internet app. unforuntately, the volume slider has disappeared from the app as well.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my iphone 3GS to the IOS 5.1 however i have noticed that now i am unable to use the camera whilst my phone is locked.
I can use the button but the screen kind of jumps up, like when you double click the home button, to reveal the bottom part of the camera, the shutter and camera/video camera slide, but then the locked page comes back down to hide the camera. Also the function button isnt properly formed, i have the camera but instead of being in a box just the top and bottom lines are shown.

I bought two iphones 4s for my children. One chose a 16 GB model and the other a 32 GB one. This is the only difference between the two units. One child reports no problems with receiving calls that display caller-id while the other one (with the 32 GB unit) has been given the run around by Sprint people. The Sprint techs blame it as an Apple problem or even a defective unit. The unit was exchanged for another one, fresh off the box and the problem still persists. Can anybody clarify what is going on with this situation? Is this a carrier problem, manufacturer problem, iOS problem, or what?

I upgraded to the new version of BB (I think version 5?) two days ago.Yesterday, I couldn't find my BBM icon.Took out the battery, etc.Didn't come back (even though it was listed in the application list).I reinstalled it via the BB App World and then got my contacts through backup.Today, it's not letting me send BBMs and if someone sends me a BBM they get an X. Everything else seems to be working fine (Im' getting emails, etc).I also did a soft reset (pulled the battery out)nothing changed.
Anyone come across this issue and know how to resolve it?
I just upgraded my android to v2.1. Now my phone is working really slow. Touch is very slow, camera is slow, everything is slow. Even I uninstalled all extra apps. I made a mistake that I upgraded my handset.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded the software on my BB and I have 3 e-mail accounts that I have been using with it. For some reason it randomly selected one as the default to use when sending out messages, etc. from any application. I have changed it to the e-mail I want (Options>Advanced Options>Default Services>) however this doesn't fix my problem. I even deleted the e-mail address from my blackberry and in my calendar it still shows a default that is not what I put in the options. The wrong e-mail is still set somewhere because when I go to use Viigo it tries to send it from the e-mail address I deleted!
View 13 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my 9300 Curve to 6.0.0.448. I am very impressed with the user interface, overall it looks and performs well.. The only problem I have is when it comes to streaming videos over my WiFi connection. It will just buffer with the little circle rotating away, but never play anything at all. If I switch my connection to just 3G it will play the video just fine. Before I upgraded the OS the video streaming worked just fine with my old OS and my WiFi. What can I do to enable it once again?

I can do texts based on my contacts, and phone recognises numbers from incoming calls.But for some reason the contacts hotkey wont being up my contacts, which is making calling people a little difficult. I have tried setting the key to be something different and changing back to no avail.

That's very nice and all, but I never get any e-mail from Motorola, even though I'm told my validation will be sent to my e-mail address (listed as on file). I had to create a new MotoCast ID (with a different e-mail address) in order to post to ask this question and for help, as I've requested a password reset a few times and none of them go to my e-mail.My old ID was part of the Motorola Feedback Network and contains the IMEI of my phone, and everything I'd need; this makes me think I could even have been invited into the soak test for the Bionic, but not received any e-mails (I was in at least one previous soak test). Can someone let me know how I can get my old account restored? This is kind of a big deal to me, and (by my understanding) was also a source of frustration the last time Motorola changed the way accounts worked.

In the morning the alarm rings, and I like the snooze function, I snooze several times (5 minutes).However, every now and then, the phone will not ring after a few snoozes, but will remain silent (and I get late).Usually does it after 25 minutes (5 snoozes),I cannot switch the phone on - I have to take out the battery, and put it back.Then it will immediately ring - usually shows the last snooze time, but of course I will have to set the time.It has been to the service, but this problem has remaind, but it is very annoying, usually it is very important not to be late!

I recently purchased a used iPhone 5 for cheap. I replaced the battery and it worked right away. It took several hours for the phone to charge completely and after I unplugged it, it drained very fast. The phone was still tied to the previous owner's account, so I wondered if it was draining fast because it was searching for something via my wi-fi. I charged it again before I went to bed, but unplugged it so I could charge my iPad overnight. When I woke up the next morning, it was under 20%. I went to work and got a hold of the previous owner to get her to remove the phone from her iCloud account. I called my girlfriend and asked her to plug in the phone so that it was on when she removed it. When I got home from work, the phone wasn't working. The screen didn't light up and there was no sign that it worked at all. I left it plugged in for the next 24 hours and it still didn't work. Holding the home and sleep/wake buttons do nothing. My used iPhone is a metal and glass brick. Found out from the previous owner that these were the exact symptoms she had before it stopped working and the battery needed to be replaced.

I am using PC Suite 7.1.40.6, under Windows XP Pro SP3. I have a 6600 fold phone, with the latest firmware (5.60). I connect via USB cable. PC Suite works perfectly apart for one thing. I cannot get the Sync function to work at all. If I run it, the program starts, and shows the phone as being properly detected and connected. However, if I press the Sync button or the Settings button, absolutely nothing happens! No error messages, just nothing. The only thing I have which I can sync with is Outlook Express, but surely even if I had no compatible programs installed I should still get something when I press the Settings button at least? I've tried repairing/reinstalling PC Suite and no difference. As i said, all other functions work fine.
