Since I upgraded my iPhone 4S to 5.1.1 I start having bluetooh dropouts on my Bury CC9060 which was working perfectly.
I thought it was aBury problem and took it to service, not finding anything wrong.Connected my old iPhone 4, and it is working perfect.So I assume it is a problem with the 4S.
I have just installed iOS v5.1 on my 3GS hoping that it would stop the bluetooth dropouts when connected to my car. This still hasn't fixed it, with something like 19 dropouts and reconnections in 25 kilometers. This happens everyday, therefore have had to cancel bluetooth connections. This really is a safety concern when driving.

My new Z2 D6503 is on .167 (4.4.4 KK) firmware, and when I connect it to my car's bluetooth audio system, sometimes it stutter really bad that I cannot enjoy the music. My car is 2014 and it also has the ability to read text messages.So after some investigation, I found a temporary solution to the dropouts:
1) If I just disable throw and reconnect, stuttering still exist.
2) If I just disable BT and re-enable, sometimes it fixes it but sometimes I lose AVRCP (control via car)
3) going into bluetooth setting, and disable MAP (text message), dropouts improved dramatically (from every 10 secs to every 1 mins or so)
4) disabling bluetooth Phone audio (so the only thing left is Bluetooth media audio) completely solves the dropout.
I recently have come across an issue when playing music.
Doesn't matter if the music is on the internal / sd card / streaming.
It appears that this happens when ever I am downloading updates/installing or getting a gps lock or if the phone starts doing something in the background.
This is a fairly new issue as the music will start to drop out during playback (0.5 seconds or so) and will continue until the phone stops doing whatever it's doing ion the background.
Noticed short pauses or gaps in sound when playing back any sort of sound file? I'm using Bluetooth headsets of various types like jaybirds, Jabra solemate or jawbone jambox.
I'm using PocketCasts and the media is on the phone for that. Also using doubletwist and it's media is on SD.
Took me a long time to notice it because some podcasts aren't the greatest quality. Thing is if I rewind and replay that section it usually plays fine meaning the phone did something wrong.
Not sure it's my imagination but sure seems to me I've been seeing a lot more data dropouts lately. Goes from (strong) 4G to nothing and eventually back again w/o interaction from me but takes a LONG time. 5 min. or more. And happening with more frequency.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have a stock Xoom wifi and have had it since day 1. Until the 3.2 a couple months back it worked fine... well as good as the subpar tegra2 will allow it anyway. Since the update I get regular wifi dropouts. Sometimes it happens when using the browser. I'll get a pop up that says it can't connect to the server or something like that. It isn't a regular interval. It will go 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 minutes, whatever. But I'm used to seeing it.
It is really evident when I try to play media via dlna from my linux server. Whether it's a HD or SD file media will stop playing using any media player (Dice, rockplayer) or any dlna client software (Upnp, BubbleUpnp, Twonky). Sometimes it happens after 30 seconds, sometimes after 5-10 seconds, other times right away. But it never makes it past a few minutes.
My router is a linksys wrt610n running dd-wrt and using both 5ghz (channel 48, n-only) and 2.4ghz bands with WPA2-AES. I've run enough test to prove it isn't the router. For my latest test I started playing an episode of the muppets show ( ) on the xoom connected on the 5ghz channel and my droid X on the 2.4 ghz channel. The xoom drops out of playing after a minutes, my X keeps playing. I switch the xoom to 2.4ghz and play the episode again. The xoom drops out again after 30 seconds. X is still going. I go upstairs and work out while watching the rest of the episode fine on my X.
While I'm streaming media I watched bandwidth monitors on the router. The droid X looks very stable with the connection rate around the same Mbps as the video file. The xoom looks like a slasher movie. It spikes to a real high rate (20mbps-ish) 2-4 times the file's rate, then it drops to about 0. It quickly spikes to about double the file's bit rate and then drops back to just above 0 again. It keeps this up until it finally just stops.
I did a device reset on saturday and all it did was annoy me as I had to re-setup everything again. The straw that finally got me was I need the device to develop an app that uses my LAN constantly and I can't since the connection isn't stable.
To summarize. Every wifi device on my network works fine (laptop, 2 droid X phones, and a printer) and my Xoom worked fine right up until I received the 3.2 update. Now it barely works.
I'm running the latest xtresto lite deo mod v2.2 I'm getting constant network connection drops not just data but call service/ sms as well i updated to the xtresto mod in hopes of fixing this but it didn't. Its not just my area i live ... I generally fix it by turning on airplane mode then off and I've also tried just wcdma/ gsm and just wcdma.

I have a iPhone 6 (32gb) OS version 8.1.1 and a Jabra BCE-BT350 bluetooth ear piece. For the last month or two every time I make a call using my bluetooth it rings once on my bluetooth then automatically switches over to my iPhone speaker (not loud speaker, just regular). I have to get my iPhone and manually select my bluetooth device as the speaker, which defeats the safety feature of using a bluetooth. I've had this bluetooth for a while now and never had this issue until recently. Not sure its an issue with iPhone 6, OS 8, settings or Jabra.

When I click on bluetooth though, it goes to the bluetooth page with the wheel automatically spinning without prompting me to turn it on or off. It does not say searching for any devices, however the wheel at the top beside bluetooth still spins. Both bluetooth headsets I have used before with the iphone work with all other phones in the house. This problem started about a week ago and I have had my phone for almost a year, never had this problem before. I have tried a hard reset, restoring to factory settings, reseting all settings, switching to airplane mode, but nothing seems to work as it still does the same thing. I am running iOS 5.1.

My E71 used to work fine in car hands free via bluetooth - now it pairs OK but then gives "unable to create bluetooth connection" message. Another E71 works fine.
I did try (twice) to e-mail Nokia care - each time I filled in all details only to get a Gateway timeout message when I tried to send it - and all details wiped out!
Can bluetooth speakers and a bluetooth mouse not be used simultaneously? If I have music streaming to the bluetooth speakers, once I move the mouse the music stops until I'm finished moving the mouse and then starts playing again.

When I am listening to music with the phone plugged in via the AUX jack, it used to automatically switch to the car speaker and the car mic. Now with the new phone, whenever I listen to music and answer the phone, the car speaker picks it up, but the phone mic remains. On top of that, the people I talk to say there is an echo, so I'm thinking its maybe the noise canceling mic on the phone? I took the phone to the Apple store and the guy pretty much blew me off and made a minimal effort.
