While charging my iPhone 3G I notices what appears to be a fingerprint-sized area of glow at both of the top end of the battery indicator.I have attached a couple of images to show what I mean. Are these lightened areas normal?I have seen other threads about battery glow but none specifically about what I am seeing but apologise if I am duplicating.

This is an ongoing problem for me.If I go to the camera on my 8520, take a photo, and then send to BBM Contact, it does not give me the option of what size I want to send it in.
Also, if I then zoom in a few times, say x3, and go to Email it to someone, the original size no longer shows, bu tonly has reduced sizes.If I zoom in x2, (once), the original size displays as 1072px wide.
What on earth is happening?My friends 8520 can zoom right in, and still take a 1600px photo.
Is it possible to have e mails on the Yahoo e mail app fit to screen? Currently e mails are oversized and over to the right of the screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had been using my N900 for 2 weeks without any issues. I never updated the software. Last night I was trying to take a picture and opened the camera lens cover. Accidentally I pressed the power button instead of the camera capture key while trying to take the picture. The display went off. I also found the phone felt warmer than usual. I took the battery out, put it in and tried again. No success. This time the phone did seem to be getting hot. I took the battery out and tried several hours later. No effect - the phone wasn't feeling warm either. I tried both the USB and wall charger - the LED was glowing green, but the phone wouldn't turn on.
Now even with the charger connected, the LED doesn't glow. Being a Sunday, I can't contact Nokia Care till tomorrow. Breaks my heart to think the hardware could get messed up so easily. We've had several Nokias in the family but not a high end one like N900. I've tried everything suggested in other forurms (including Maemo). I tried to update software with NSU. The NSU can't even detect the N900 when I connect it to the USB port. Probably suggests the battery is flat. I don't have a 5800 to try and recharge the battery externally - its shocking to know the phone can't charge if the battery is flat. If a laptop can why can't a "smart" phone? Anything else I can try?

I have an iPhone 3GS, purchased in March of this year. It's worked great except one thing: twice so far my phone has been displaying full bars and EDGE while my mom's iPhone 3GS displays full bars and 3G. When this happens, I can make phone calls and send text messages, but I can't get on Safari or anything else that uses data.The first time this happened (about a month and a half ago), I just turned off my phone, removed the SIM card and put it back in, and let it sit, turned off, for about an hour. Then when I turned it back on, it was fine.This time, I have tried that to no effect. It's not simply that I have bad coverage where I'm at or no 3G because my mom's phone works fine. I recently updated to 4.0.1, if that makes any difference (my mom has not).Is there any fix for this I can try myself? Or should I take my phone into AT&T and let them deal with it?

Recently my iphone 4s wont find any of the wifis available in the area. When i search for wifi nothing appears, it just has the searching symbol, which doesnt go away. I have tested my home wifi with my friends phone, which is the same phone on the same software, and it works fine for her. I have had no problem with wifi until now and there are no other problems with my phone, 3g internet still work fine.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIt was in a sof case and surrounded by a hard case. The only areas exposed to liquid was the charger and speakers. At first, the display came on and the unit charged sporadically. Now, it will not power on at all. Even when it did power on the screen was VERY dim. About 1 inch fell into the shake (strawberry, for the curious) and I did not rinse it off - just wiped and cleaned with QTip and toothpick. Any help out there? Should I open the phone and try to clean it out? It is over 2 years old and no warranty or contract.

I look at reviews and it suppose to say touch id and passcode. Right? My software is up to date (iOS7.1.1) I been having a lot of problems with this phone lately and it getting to the point where I thinking getting another type of phone.
