What is the minimum and maximum shutter speed of the Nexus 6P in third party apps?
I have a OnePlus 2 at the moment and I can take up to 30 seconds of long exposure, before with my OnePlus 1 even 60 seconds.
Is this something I can find in the Nexus 6P through a third party camera app?
Changing CPU speed. I noticed that 6P may not overheat but that's only because it throttles. I was wondering if shuting down two of its main cores would enable the other two run faster thus achieving better overall performance.
I was just wondering if apps actually use four cores? Or is it better to have two, faster ones.
When I wake the phone using my fingerprint, the phone remains frozen for about 10 seconds before I'm able to do anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe n8 has a minimum shutter speed of 1/15s in the default camera (from what I have read). With CameraPro, you can get it down to 1/5s (although I am sure I saw 1/2.5s). I would love a bulb stop, but a multi second option would also be great. Night shots could be enhanced - for example car headlight trails, star pics (ie. astrophotography).
Anyone know the 808 minimum shutter speed?
The designers of the N8 left out a HUGE camera setting, and that is the ability to directly control the shutter speed.
Right now the N8 cannot do things my old Sony Ericsson C905 can do, and that is slow down the shutter speed to take long 1sec+ photos at night.
So, you will never be able to use a tripod and capture tail lights from cars like this effect. I hope this gets address with a software update. Nokia is crippling this Carl Zeiss optics with limitations.
Is there a way to control the amount of shutter speed/time while taking a photo with the 808?
I would like to do long exposures and also force the camera not to drop beneath certain shutter speeds while shooting. White 808 Pureview NAMBlack N8 NAMSilver N95-3 NAM
I know this may be a silly question, but does anyone know what the "shutter speed" of the iPhone 4s camera is. Also,in terms of standard 35mm still photography, what is the equivalent focal length of the widest setting of the main camera?

I am consistently disgusted on how dumb the focus on the 808 is. I have countless photos where everything on screen is blurred out even with focus light on and Human faces detected by the actual camera. Sometimes I have to touch focus 3 times to get a non retarded full screen photo. And consistently the shutter speed is too slow for clear photos. This is all on default automatic mode.

Is there any Camera driver available for c510 which can give a very fast shutter speed (say 12000 of a sec). So that I could capture fast moving objects exactly ,without blurring!

It is also able to detect if you are using an iPhone or Android and adjust accordingly. It worked great with my G2. It could fast charge my wife's G2 and my G2 at the same time. However, on my Nexus 5 I just got, it is only charging at USB speed.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just installed Nameless ROM and am having trouble setting the CPU speeds. I've tried with Device control (built in) and then with No Frills CPU, both with root access, and have not had any success setting my CPU speed. When I set anything on minimum, I exit the app and when I return it goes back to its original value (1574). Same thing with No Frills. I have BusyBox installed and the latest version of SuperSu. I do not have a custom Kernel, but my experience in the past has been quite similar with Franco Kernel and ElementalX kernel across a number of different ROMs.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Nexus 5 has become very sluggish when installing and uninstalling apps. It will almost freeze and become unresponsive for a few seconds before becoming normal again. I'm wondering if the storage is degrading... I would rather not upgrade since none of the other devices are significant steps up from the Nexus 5. I'm running Stock and ElementalX.

Things I've done:
- Avoid poor connections is off.
- Reset router.
- Reset phone.
- Disconnected and reconnect to router.
- Router firmware up to date.
I have N5 with latest Marshmallow updates (November 2015) rooted with ElementalX kernel installed. I have a very strange issue that while playing any local (not streaming) audio file, it plays with double or triple of its speed.
I used several apps to make sure it's not application based issue, the same occurs.
I've had my Nexus 5 phone for 16 months now - generally worked great. Occasionally it dies and wont power up, but tends to be fine once you leave it charged for 10 minutes and give it a go a few times.
However, now, it wont boot up at all. It has a mind of its own of turning on and off every few seconds, and then just staying on the Google logo before switching off again.
Very occasionally it gets to the 4 circles but again shut offs after a few seconds.
I've read a few threads that suggest pressing Vol button and power on button. I've tried that and get to the android robot screen, but it switches off like 1 second after, so im unable to select any options.
When I have connected to a charger, it constantly boots up and switches off the google logo after couple of seconds all by itself. But if not connected to a charger, then it remains off unless I press power button or give it a little knock.
I love my Nexus 5. It's blazing fast and does everything I need but I have one small problem with it. In the latest update (4.4.4) Google updated the Dialer App. The UI is amazing but there's a thing about the app that annoys me a lot.
I have set 5 of my closest friends which I call a lot on Speed Dial/Favourites.
However, every time I call anyone else in my contacts they automatically get added to the same Speed Dial menu and I have to manually clear those by clicking "clear frequents" or removing them one by one. Is there a way to disable this annoying feature?
Have just got my new X6 and its great except that i am having problems with my connection to my bluetooth car kit. It connects fine and has paired with it but it seems to disconnecting every 25 seconds or so and then reconnecting 25 seconds later. Its driving me bananas cos each time it does it the radio cuts out. If i am on a call it seems to keep connection. I fell i may have missed a setting somewhere but cant find anything about this.

View 10 Replies View RelatedIs there a way in the stock messaging app, or is there a specific messaging app available in the play store where I could:
Draft a txt and then send to multiple recipients without each recipient being able to see the other? Basically the same thing as sending an email to multiple people via BCC option.
Would be handy for business purposes. I don't care if they see my contact. I just don't want them to see eachothers contact since not everyone I'd send to would know the other (and/or want their contact information shared).
Obviously I could copy and paste the same message to multiple people via individual txt msgs... but being able to send a group txt would be way more efficient.
I got my Nexus 6P in australia yesterday and I was playing around with the settings. One of the things I wanted to enable was Now on Tap but everytime I try and enable it (either through holding the home button, or doing it through Settings), it won't enable! When I click Get Started, nothing happens. If i'm in the settings app, the toggle just turns off after I press Get Started.
