Nov 30, 2014how well GPS works in offline mode for the iPhone 6 plus. I have an iPad Air and GPS works perfectly in offline mode for all map applications (e.g. Apple maps, Google maps). The prerequisite is obviously to cache or download the map area prior to usage. The iPad Air picks up the GPS signal very fast and it works like a charm! I mostly use that for offline navigation abroad. Does this kind of offline GPS functionality work equally well and fast on the iPhone 6 plus? Â

Sep 5, 2014I have iPhone 4S with iOS 7.1.2. It worked fine but a few days ago it suddenly started work strange. Let me explain.Â
The first problem is video. I can't watch either online or offline videos. When I try to watch a video it looks like a slideshow. It just shows one frame per 2-3 seconds. The strange thing that audio in video keep works fine.Â
The second problem is applications. They suddenly became crashing in various places and times where they didn't crash before. Instgram, YouTube, some games are crashing.Â

Jun 23, 2012This is ridiculous. iTunes asked me if I want to update the iPhone OS to 5.1.1, so I said yes, and then it said there was an "unknown error." Now the screen shows a graphic of a USB cord pointing to iTunes. When I plug into iTunes again it says "iPhone is in recovery mode" and then tells me all the settings are going to be wiped out.

IPhone 3GS :: Stuck On Remote Wipe - How To Fix?
Jan 13, 2010My 3GS was stolen this morning so I set up a Remote Wipe using Find My iPhone. Turns out a neighborhood kid stole it and, luckily, his parents brought it back to me. As soon as I turned it on, the Remote Wipe started. Now, it's stuck on the Apple logo and isn't responding (won't reboot, iTunes doesn't see it, won't go into DFU mode). The Remote Wipe didn't complete.I am *NOT* a thief! This really happened. I have a good reputation on a couple other forums where I post more often and I can post a photo of my purchase receipt from June 2009 if someone tells me how. don't have Edge or 3G data service. I use my 3GS over Wifi. I thought this might be the problem, but the instructions to start remote wipe came to the phone over Wifi, so it should be able to continue over wifi.
Q: Has anyone experienced this type or problem or heard about it?
Q: Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
PHONE INFOS: 3GS, 3.0.1, jb with RedSn0w, not unlocked WHAT HAPPENED
- remote wipe initiated
- screen went black
- Apple logo appeared
- empty white progress bar box appeared under Apple logo, but no progress bar started or went accross it
- white progress bar box disappeared
- spin wheel appeared superimposed over Apple logo, but did not spin
CURRENT STATUS
- for the past 4 hours, the steps above keep repeating, minus the empty progress box
- every few minutes it starts over again with the black screen
- 3 seconds later, the Apple logo pops up
- about a minute later the spin wheel shows up on top of the Apple logo and doesn't spin
- after a while the screen flashes black again and this process repeats

Jun 11, 2012Got my iPhone stolen. The person turned it off right away. So far it has been offline. I have been sending messages and locking commends through iCloud.com, but have not chosen the remote wipe option yet.
Is it possible for a stolen iPhone be identified after restore? An iPhone has a series number, I assume iTunes would be able to identify this number somehow. Can anything be done on this front?

The only problem is that the screen is broken, it wont slide to unlock so I am unable to put in the passcode in so I can restore it and wipe it on Itunes. The lock button is very, very selective to. More than 99% of the time it doesnt work, actually. The only thing that seems to work is the home button.
As you know, because I am unable to put in the passcode my computer refuses to read it, so I cannt go in and manually delete everything myself.
