I'm having problems uploading my music onto my HTC Sensation XE. I've got HTC sync open, I've selected that music be synced, and I've selected the files I want uploaded. I press sync and it does appear to work. However when I go to the music on my phone, none of the music that should be there is not?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to move a few files around on my memory card whilst the phone is plugged into my pc. There is over a gb of free space on the memory card. I get error: "The selected files could not be copied there is not enough free space on the device".
- I'm moving files, not copying so it shouldn't need any free space.
- Even if it did need free space there is more than enough available on the card.
How can I move files around?

A funny thing has happened on my 8GB MOTOACTV. Music that I do not have has begun to appear on my device. I originally downloaded approximately 220 songs and have since added another 15. However, my song total now shows at 401 songs, many of which I would NEVER listen to. THere is nothing worse that running and listening to a great song and have the next one be a Bay City Roller or Cyndi Laupner tune. Are these songs being uploaded when I plug into the website? Were they pre-loaded onto the device?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have only noticed this problem recently and as I hardly ever use the music function on my phone it may have been occurring for some time. I first noticed this when I tried to use the spotify app, it would tell me that the music was playing but I couldn't hear anything. So I checked my other music and when I tried to play the files it said 'unable to play file type' even though I had played these files before, including one file that still works as my ringtone. Seeing as I don't really have a timeline on when these errors occured I was just looking for some general ideas for fixing this, it may have happened when I updated to the most recent android software (ice cream sandwich) I don't know.

I've installed the sync program and tried to connect the phone with the "sync" option when connected to the pc - "no device found". I tried connecting as memory card while hoping there were some folders with sensible names for putting music files into it, but no. So how do you do it my peeps?
2. When I first started up the phone I thought syncing it with facebook was a good idea... turned out not so good.. Now all my contacts are saved 2 or 3 times, and some of them with no phone number even, just their name. This is really shit. So, if I go from the main screen to "all apps" and "contacts" (not sure what it's called in english, but i guess it's kinda something like what i write) I managed to turn off the facebook thing there, and the contacts were removed from that list. BUT, when I click on the phone symbol in bottom center of the main screen they are still there, I also tried restarting the phone - no effect. Also, it seems like i can't delete them one by one either so..
And what does the expression mark with a circle around it mean? It appeared in the top left corner the other day.. something bad? Looks something like this ( ! )

The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. My music plays fine through the same setup so not sure what is causing the high pitched noise when i try to make a phonecall.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Nokia 5530 Xpress Music and tried out syncing my phone's files using Ovi Suite so I can easily retrieve them if ever they get deleted when I update my phone's firmware. When I synced my files, everything else worked fine except for the music files and these are the following problems I encountered: Ovi Suite did not only copy my phone's music files to my pc, it also copied all the music files of my pc to my phone at the same time. This shouldn't happen right? Because I'm only trying to sync my phone's files to my computer, and not transfer files from my computer to my phone so it should only copy all the songs in my 5530 to Ovi Suite.

If I drag and drop music files to the Music folder in the phone storage they show up in the music player app fine.
However, files do not show in the app when I add them to the SD Card.
The SD card has been formatted in the phone. I'm adding files to this folder directory - Card/Android/data/com.google.android.music/files. Is this correct?
I got my 5230 updated to 20.0.005 last time, and actually it's a good update. The perfomance is better than before, but I encountered a problem that really annoying me.I love listening to music. It's everything for me. But now the music player can't detect new music files, even it's imported from a bluetooth connection. After I save it from the inbox, sometimes it said "General : System Error". The files is inside the memory card, but can't be detected by the music player although I refresh the music library. The same thing happened when I import some music files from the computer using Nokia PC Suite. In the library, there is the artist's name or the album's name, but after I clicked it, there isn't any music files inside. What happened actually with the music player?About the memory card, I got it from the phone package. It's 2 GB, and still has approx. 130 MB free. Is it the memory card or the update?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.
