I have just purchased this phone. Is there any way to change the theme on the phone? I have downloaded .tsk files to change the theme but it will only change the scheme and nothing else changes... Am I doing something wrong or is it just not possible on this phone? Any help would be appreciated, I have been trying different things all morning.

I update my bold 9700 with the OS6 (official) and since than i can't change the theme's.I can't see any theme's on my phone.......and i follow the standard steps. is this a wellnow problem?I download the official theme from bb app world ( spring theme roots of spring) and these are normaly working for OS6.

Today I got an X10 (as a replacement phone for a series of faulty HTC Desires) and I'm just wondering if there is a way to disable the emoticons so that they don't show the little pictures, just the text? or change them to the little android ones shown on the Desire. I have a Nokia 6303i and i tried so many themes that have a media player and radio skin, and they just don't work. When I apply the theme and try to open the media player/radio i don't see the new skin. I only get a black screen with a clock in the top right corner. I've tried the same themes on my friend's nokia 6303 classic and they work.

I tried searching google for a specific list of names I could make them that would go with my theme but then realized its theme specific. Any ideas or can any1 teach me how to check? Im using glassklart and there are thousands of app icons so I imagine there are some other folder names that will do what I want that I simply just cant think of.

The text bubbles used to show red but then I started messing with various colour schemes and it seems to be stuck on grey no matter what I do. As well when I receive an incoming call the answer button shows as grey. Seems weird.
The red texts were also when I had my sim in slot 1. I noticed my signal strength is significantly better in slot 2 than slot 1.
I personally dislike the default launcher on the G3 so i went to nova launcher which is my favorite. I am using the Ultimate L icon pack which i would highly recommend as it looks great.

I check the cpu and see that it does some heavy load for a while like several hours. I have to restart the phone to have it operate normally, but I dont know why that happens all the time every time I delete or erase a theme. I have it all up and running with a CDMA reseller and it works fine there.I can pull up the MEID and IMEI no problem.I have inserted my T-Mobile SIM card.When the phone boots, I get the following message:SIM lock in upper left hand corner "The SIM card is not valid. Please insert Verizon SIM card. Device will default to CDMA mode."
Only option is to click OK. Then you end up in CDMA mode. You can select GSM only but then show no service although the SIM ID shows up when you go for information on the phone.How do I get this phone to SIM unlock mode so I can get a code from an unlock vendor?This phone was never activated on VZ so not sure they would help me out.
I just simply haven't been able to figure out a couple of things:
1) When I dial a number there is an annoying beep when I press the call button. I can't figure out how to disable it.
2) I can't seem to "lock" the ring volume controls. I set it for a low volume ring but somehow it keeps resetting itself to ring loud. How do I keep the ring volume at the level I set it? TIA.
I have an HTC Ozone that I flashed from WM6.1 to WM6.5 using the official ROM that was released.Before I flashed to WM6.5, I had put PHM RegEdit on my Ozone, and did the DISABLE SMS SENT MESSAGE mod.After I flashed to 6.5, the Message Sent Notification popped up after I sent a text, so I went back in with PHM, and low and behold, the mod is still the same. I tried changing it back to 0 (Default), and instead of just keeping it on, it started popping up 2 Message Sent Notifications. So, I tried setting it to 2, and nothing, just the regular Notification. And now it's set at 1, which is supposed to turn it off, but it keeps popping up.
Did I eff up something in the registry when I flashed to 6.5? Is there some way to fix this so I can turn off the stupid notification? Or will this hack not work with 6.5?
HTC Ozone. No data cable with device when I bought it. Have 3 or 4 mini usb cables here. Does it matter which one is used or can any be used as long as it connects? Also, will the motorola razor car phone charger work with it? Don't want to damage the phone if there is some weird proprietary thing going on.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my Nokia 5300 because the phone theme was corrupted and I cant changed or restore it due to my other problems: my phone memory is full so i cant change theme which is very much larger memory and i cant also restore the memory because my phone memory fills through the messages which is already empty but still contains Kb&Mb, what will i do? The phone memory is approximately 10 kb and the messages/drafts are empty but still contains almost 2mb.
