Apr 22, 2012I have accidently deleted a video from my Iphone (which has not been synced to Itunes since before the video was taken - so no copy on PC!) It's a VERY important video of my 8 year-old daughter doing a fashion show...she´ll be extremely upset if I don´t recover it. Is there any way of recovering it from the Iphones "hard disk", as yuou can with computer disks, memory sticks etc?

Jul 16, 2010Why can't I forward emails that I receive from the internet? When you forward the email the images and some of the text are lost. Even if you save it as a draft you some of the content are lost. Is there maybe another email app that I can use (just not K9, doesn't work).

Nov 7, 2011I downloaded the BB desktop software because I needed to update the BB, so I connected the Blackberry Bold to the computer. And somewhere it decided to clean my phone completely. I was not asked to back up. I have asked some friends and they said that usually its always asking to backup before. I'm very disappointed by the last happenings at RIM. Is there anyway I can recover the lost data. As we can do with computers can we do the same with BB phone? I also have searched on my laptop some "ipd" files and found some strange MFL files but I cannot read them.

Motorola Razr :: Images And Music Randomly Move To Lost.Dir Folder
Mar 19, 2012What I finding is happening is that images (captured with the camera in the DCIM folder) and MP3s are being removed and placed into the LOST.DIR folder of the SD Card (internal memory isn't a problem). For example, the most recent occurrence was where by I copied on 4GB of music onto the phone and then a short time later after disconnecting the USB cable, I found that quite a number (2.7GB) of the files disappeared into the LOST.DIR folder.
I verified that the files were the orignal MP3's by changing the extension of the files to .mp3 and was able to play the file. Other times I've taken a photo with the camera and saved the JPG on the SD card, a few days later the file disappeared. The problem has occurred on Android version 2.3.5 and even now after updating to 2.3.6. I don't have any 3rd party music or photo apps. The SD Card is a 32GB Kingston class 10 card which I formatted in the phone before copying any data to it.
BB Tour 9630 :: Lost My Contacts Cannot Recover?
Mar 19, 2010I previously owned an 8830 World Edition and recently bought the 9630 Tour. I had the the guy at Sprint transfer everything from the 8830 to the 9630. I gave my wife the 8830 and she had her old phone transferred to the 8830. I realized the I did not have my passwords in my password keeper on the new 9630 so I connected the 9630 to the laptop with the old desktop manager. I recovered my passwords but now I have my wife's contacts in my phone and I can't recover my contacts. If anyone could provide a solution.

Jul 5, 2012I have read through a number of forum posts and posts around the internet concerning whether or not you can recover lost text messages on the IPhone. The conclusion I've come to is that you can on iOS 4 (the text message files are actually still there until you sync next), but that isn't true for iOS 3. Is that true? I would very much like to get back some text messages that I've deleted on an IPhone 3G using iOS 3. It has not been synced since I deleted the messages, but the last backup I have is before I received the messages.

Jun 15, 2010I was having issues trying to change my default email to a gmail account. I finally decided to delete the gmail account and then re-register it. When I did this I accidentally chose to sync contacts. Now all my contacts are friggin' gone! If I open my call history all the info is there for everyone, but not anywhere else. Anyone have any ideas on WTF happened and how to recover them? I can't imagine that they were all wiped out irrecoverably. BTW, I've checked for any filters, and even deleted the gmail contacts service book but still no joy.

Jun 21, 2010when I was upgrading to 4, I got some error that came up (something like MobileBackup.exe has crashed, not too sure what it was) and it stopped restoring. However, it is still called "Anthony's iPhone", the same as during the last upgrade and I synced it so I still have all my old apps. Is there anyway I can recover all these lost contacts etc? It's basically like a new phone now with apps, I had to so the shift+restore method to upgrade as my iTunes account wasn't logging in.
Oh and btw, yes I was doing it on Vista because my iMac broke a few weeks ago, so no comments like "because you're on Windows" please :P

Jun 20, 2012I lost important notes while syncing my iPhone on my MacBook Pro. I have synced before, and know that the notes on my phone migrate to the MacBook Pro. If I want them back on the phone, I had to drag them back to the phone. So I synced notes and there was an option as to whether to keep or delete notes that were synced; I am quite sure that I chose, "keep." Now, I am unable to find those valuable notes on either device. Ouch. Can you help? Is there a backup type of place to recover them?
