I have a galaxy s5 i needed a sd card to increase my memory. I went to walmart and purchased a skandisk 16 gb micro SDHC card. they young lady installed it in my phone. it transferred all my contact and text messages, but not my pictures. How to I locate my pictures? Or are they lost forever?

I have a Samsung S5 with a 32gb SD card. The other night my from completely froze for approx. 30 seconds and then I lost everything saved on the SD card. The card cannot be read by the phone nor be mounted. When trying to mount the card the phone says mounting SD card then card is safe to remove. I connected it to my computer and it says card needs to be formatted when clicking on the drive letter where the card is place via an adapter. we tried to mount the card on 2 other phones with the same results. Any recovery software that I might use to get my pictures back?

She bought a new case for her Verizon S5, and in the process of swapping cases, somehow managed to factory reset her phone. So all of our vacation photos are gone. Her cloud storage is full, so nothing from the last 6 months was recoverable from the cloud.
My questions is, is there a way to recover photos from a factory reset? I'll root it, or anything else I need to do.

However I could not recover them as this software was not free. I then downloaded blackberry desktop software and backed up everything. When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. And somewhere it decided to clean my phone completely. I was not asked to back up. I have asked some friends and they said that usually its always asking to backup before. I previously owned an 8830 World Edition and recently bought the 9630 Tour. I had the the guy at Sprint transfer everything from the 8830 to the 9630. I gave my wife the 8830 and she had her old phone transferred to the 8830. I realized the I did not have my passwords in my password keeper on the new 9630 so I connected the 9630 to the laptop with the old desktop manager. I recovered my passwords but now I have my wife's contacts in my phone and I can't recover my contacts. If anyone could provide a solution.

I have read through a number of forum posts and posts around the internet concerning whether or not you can recover lost text messages on the IPhone. The conclusion I've come to is that you can on iOS 4 (the text message files are actually still there until you sync next), but that isn't true for iOS 3. Is that true? I would very much like to get back some text messages that I've deleted on an IPhone 3G using iOS 3. It has not been synced since I deleted the messages, but the last backup I have is before I received the messages.
