I had a HTC Rezound and with it came a 16gb sd card. So I moved it to my new HTC One but since then I've been having issues. All photos, videos, music and others are read correctly.
The problem is moving files to the sd card or within it. Happened when using a file explorer app, backing up sms/calls to sd card and all had some kind of error.
I took a new sd card (strontium class 10 32gb nitro) I'm not able to tranfer files from internal storage to mcard through file manager (es file explorer)..it shows error moving files..
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S5 from Cricket/AIO wireless. It just recently updated to Lolly from KK. I want to move larger apps and such to the SD card as I have a 128GB in there. But whenever I try to move a file/app, it becomes unstable or doesn't work. In its place on the menu, is a blank/ghost space and says "app is not installed". In the app manager it is usually listed as "xyz app.samsung.com" or such. I am still making payments to it so I cant fully root it or jailbreak it but I cant load the apps I want/need. Or is there a way to load larger apps directly to the SD?
Also as a secondary problem, moving pctures from internal to SD, I get a ghost image in Gallery and cant access the picture. Did it delete? Can I get it back somehow? Do I need a forensics kit on my computer?
I am trying to move music files from the media card to the device memory. I have accessed Blackberry website and followed the instructions but my menu does not give the option to 'Move'. This is a replacement handset and apparently software etc has been upgraded since I got the previous one 7 months ago. I want to use music as a ring tone (I am also having problems downloading music but that's another story). Can anyone out there help as I am at the point where I might just flush the thing down the loo and go back to a basic mobile!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI currently have a blackberry curve 8520, which has a broken screen, the 'white screen of death' as its been know, and I have managed to navigate around the phone without a screen to back up my files to my blackberry desktop software.however, I have been upgraded to a blackberry bold 9780 witch runs a newer version of blackberrys OS system, I'm not sure which one. Is it possible to transfer my settings from the backed up files from my curve 8520 to my new bold 9780, and would this have any effect on the newer system?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am at my wits end trying to work out how to back up the RAW files from the Nokia 1020 to an external hard drive.
When I use the windows phone app on my Mac computer it always converts it to a jpeg file. Even if I drag the file to the desktop.
When I copy it to iPhoto, then try and export the original Raw file it exports a jpeg. Even if I tell it to export original.
It appears that iPhoto is using the RAW file becasue there is no jpeg written at the end of the file name, plus the file looks smooth when enlarged in iPhoto
I dropped my c905 the other day and want to back up my files to the pc suite before it goes for repair and they wipe everything off my phone memory like important dates on the calendar, but how can I do this when I can't see a thing on the screen? HELP.

Reset it and it has the wonderful plug into itunes..I try to jailbreak and it fails now. *Yes, its tethered because its newer.. BUT its still 3.1.2. I went to use itunes to restore and it wants to put 3.1.3 on there.. NOT good.I rely on the jailbreak to use my phone, now its dead. Is there a way I can fix this thing? I have a mac and a pc I can try things on.I hope I can get it working, or else I am totally screwed.. Just bought the phone for 750 dollars last month, and now again I am stuck with nothing. I downloaded the HTC Sync Manager, that also doesn't see the phone. In other phones you have to make a choice of charging/file transfer/etc, but I do not see this. I'm used to Samsung phones, so this is a bit different for me. I"m running 4.4.2 and Sense is 5.5.

Defective images that are on the memory card can not be repararadas and in the internal memory of the phone do not appear.
Programs have file recovery card but I can not use it in the internal memory of the phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just recently installed a 4GB MSD/HC card with a view to freeing up some memory on the phone itself. I was hoping to move all my music, videos and images to the memory card.
The images moved across fine with only a little bit of trouble from "Desktop Photo Applet", but once I redirected it to the card things are now OK there.
I'd also like to do the same with all the music tracks and videos that are stored in phone memory, but as soon as I moved most of the music tracks, media player started going mammaries skyward, complaining it couldn't find tracks. needless to say I moved them back and didn't bother trying to move the videos.

my question is, can i just copy the b127581d93b5949701b5568dc9cbcxxxxxxxxxx folder that's inside the winXP backup folder right into the backup folder on windows 7? is it going to sync right up like it should when i plug iphone into the win7 machine?
it shows double-2 files in music player. My second problem is when I download any game or app to it & try to move them to any folder of memory card. It says name already exists or name already exists in target folder 1, 2 or any other, it's not memory card issue. i think the problem is in it is memory card reader or any other software problem.

Now to the problem: My Z2 runs 4.4.2, version 17.1.2.A.0.314, but I can not move any app to the card from within Settings -> Apps.
Other than freeing up device memory are there any advantages to moving apps to the SD card? Like in a rebuild situation after an OS upgrade? If I move the card to another phone will the apps show up on the screen?

Because of this, when I now select the microSD card as the location for messages, the SMS/mms messages received since I first changed that setting are not transferred to the memory card. The problem is that i downloaded a few things from blackberry world and a box came up saying i didn't have enough space to continue yet the memory card says it's just about empty. I tried going through the manual but couldn't find the answer there and i even took it to the phone shop. He couldn't help but he did tell me something i didn't know. He said i have to pay £5 a month for the blackberry service!
