Jul 21, 2014connected to WiFi. It's slow, Micro lag here & there. It's really weird bc any other phone I use on the same WiFi never encounters an error.

Phone is fully charged. None of the power saving options are enabled. Keep wifi on during sleep is enabled.
Phone is somewhere away from wifi in use with mobile data.
Phone becomes in range of a known wifi device whilst not in use.
After any amount of time, phone is used.
Mobile data is still in use and wifi is only switched to at the point the screen turns on.

Dec 30, 2014i have a problem with my galaxy S5 ATT. so im using Netgear wireless n-150 router WNR 1000,its updated,but the problem was before the update and after the update it is the same. i'm using yahoo,gmail and comcast emails.i was able to setup yahoo email without any problems,i can send and receive emails from my phone when connected to wifi and without wifi. but i wasnt able to add to that stock email app my gmail account and comcast while i was connected to my wifi.it gave me error that it wasnt able to connect to the server to verify information.
So I tried to set it up on the mobile network and there was no problem. so now when i connected to wifi in my house i cant receive emails or send them using gmail and comcast email,yahoo account is working fine. i checked all the settings,i reset the router,still nothing.the funny part is if i download gmail app it is working without any problems.and if i connect to any other wireless router,all 3 emails work. also when i connect to my wifi, I'm getting internet and i'm able to open pages without any problems. So it should be some settings in the router probably ...

Dec 27, 2012Nokia E6 with Symbian Belle Refresh which I bought just a couple of days ago.It does not detect wifi internet connections at all, although they are available. When I go to settings -> connectivity and then select wifi, it searches connection for a while and then shows that none are found. Meanwhile, my old Nokia E72 remains connected to my home wifi without any problem... I am really surprised and disappointed. Also when I try to set up the connection manually, it doesn't work at all.I can't believe that such a device is being sold, a wifi connection is something extremely necessary nowadays in a smartphone. I was so attached to Nokia but I feel like it is my last Nokia phone because this is just unbelievable

Brightness was at its maximun ignoring the ambient light sensor. 20 minutes later the phone was off. I thought was the battery, but before this, the battery was at 60 %. I let it in rise for two days, but it doesn't start or charge the battery. Is dead. Two times, when I connect the usb charger a red led light turns on, but turns off after a few seconds.

Apr 20, 2015my new G3 does not appear on any WindowsPCs (W7 File Explorer), when using wifi. It should appear under "network". Instead, it only appears under "computer" when connected with a USB cable. Apple-based PCs have no problem seeing the phone on the network. I use Fing on everything but the W7 PC. On that PC, I use file explorer, or Motohome Viewer (where it does appear), because I have a Motorola Netopia gateway (2247-B).

May 15, 2015I have a really weird issue with my brand new G3. I started configuring the device without a SIM, and it saw my 5G (802.11AC) home network (Netgear R7000 router).
I was working with this connection and everything was great. I done all my software updates (maybe 8 of them) from the initial store 4.4.2 to 5.0. The phone now say that I have the latest version.
When I inserted my SIM card the phone stopped discovering ("seeing") the 5G WIFI network, it now sees only my 2.4G network.no matter what I've done, it wont discover the network it worked with before the SIM insertion and start up.
I also recall that I had more settings in my Advanced WIFI screen, and at least 2 settings which I remember are now missing. One if the setting which switches to cellular DATA when the WIFI signal is weak, and the other when the WIFI network doesn't have an internet connection. There might be more settings which I'm now missing, but I recall these two to now be missing from the Advanced WIFI screen.
Taking the SIM card out doesn't solve this. The only way I've managed to restore the 5G connectivity is by doing a factory reset. BUT, inserted the SIM card ruins it again!
The attached pictures shows how it looks when it's connected to the 2.4G network, and the missing settings:

May 24, 2012I've got a iPhone 3GS and i've got it for a while now and my warranty ran out. My problem is that when I turn my 3G on the phone just keeps searching for network. And when I turn off my 3G I have normal conection too 2G and I can call and text. I've already done a reset through the computer. I don't know what to do anymore..

HELP PLEASE! on top of that i disconnected all connections to see if it works like that but that also did not help at all. my wifi is just acting dumb OR does it have anything to do because i have a MacPro? but it should connect to any kind of laptops.

I have read that removing all remembered Wifi networks works, but this solution is unacceptable to me as I travel a lot and have over a hundred networks remembered in my Google account. I'd rather stop buying Sony products than have to re-enter those networks again.

Often my iPhone doesn't pick up wifi when I come into a wi-fi zone and stays on GPRS until I go into setting, wifi and then it picks up the network. Sometimes it does it automatically but it's annoying when it doesn't. It sometimes does the same with network signal if you go into a 'No Service' area and then come out of it it often takes a long time to pick up the network signal again.

May 10, 2012Just switched from a bold 9700 to bold 9900. Our mobile signal is extremely limited since we're out in the country so wifi is essential here.On my 9700, wifi worked perfectly with all applications but that doesn't appear to be the case with the bold 9900. Several apps are extremely slow or don't work at all. I think the reason for this is the 9900 isn't using wifi for some apps. I believe some apps are using wifi such as the browser and facebook but app world, google maps, scoremobile, whatsapp and tunein radio to name a few don't appear to be using wifi at all.

Jun 26, 2014I have been having this issue since my phone got the HTC Sense 6 update last week.
Some Google applications don't recognise when they are on WIFI to enable auto-backup / update / download features. In order to force a backup / update, I need to tell it to auto-backup using both Data Network and WIFI and then it backs up the data using WIFI.
I see the same behaviour in Play Music, only downloading data for streaming or for off-line playing if the setting is enabled for both Data Network and WIFI.
Auto update of applications hasn't worked since then, and they need to be forced manually.

Tried resetting the router, cleaned the sim, checked net speeds, closed apps etc and have a constant problem. One of the reasons I got the Z5 was the remote play for the PS4 and I think I've been able to use it twice. Every other time states connection too low. Can't watch YouTube on it states connection error. Can't even WhatsApp half the time.
