Jun 28, 2015I downloaded mp3 files, put them in LG PC Suite and transfered them to my G3 and when I open the standard music app (the purple square) it doesn't see the mp3's. So I looked for them in my file manager and saw all of them stored in the LG PC Suite Folder. Even after transfering the mp3's to the Music Folder the music app didn't see the mp3's. I did use PowerAmp which works great. But I'd still like to use the standard music app which i find easier to use.

It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.

Jan 16, 2015I recently have come across an issue when playing music.
Doesn't matter if the music is on the internal / sd card / streaming.
It appears that this happens when ever I am downloading updates/installing or getting a gps lock or if the phone starts doing something in the background.
This is a fairly new issue as the music will start to drop out during playback (0.5 seconds or so) and will continue until the phone stops doing whatever it's doing ion the background.

Jun 10, 2014I just got me a One yesterday and I'm ready to move music to the phone. I have it plugged in via usb (on a Macbook), but the computer doesn't see it. I downloaded the HTC Sync Manager, that also doesn't see the phone. In other phones you have to make a choice of charging/file transfer/etc, but I do not see this. I'm used to Samsung phones, so this is a bit different for me. I"m running 4.4.2 and Sense is 5.5.

I thought I would be able to copy over a playlist from the computer but that does not seem to be the case, every time I do it no matter what the format is it always ends up being deleted.Now I am actually reading the owners manual and it says this: Tip You can also create and use folders to organize your music inside the Music folder you have created.This would be super easy to create playlists by if I could figure out how to brows the music by folder and then add all the music in that folder to the playlist. After deleting Usage" still shows 800MB of music on phone ..Then day or so later rechecked "usage" and reading now INCREASED by 15 MB ! "Music" never even opened..How do I get most, if not all of 800 MB+ off of memory ????

Feb 7, 2010The problems with Comes with Music continue.My first year has expired, and though I have bought a second Comes With Music device I have not yet worked out how I am going to plug that in (see separate post about problems of only one phone per CWM account even if you buy a new phone and renew).
Put my old SIM in new CWM but without yet activating the PIN (two months from sales date to do so) and old phone gets upset and music stops working. Bizarre, so think redownload music to phone again, pain but if necessary will do so.
However, when I try to download the music from PC to phone using Nokia Ovi Player, won't let me, it tells me I have not got the license, I can only download music from the Music Vault.
So I download a track from the music vault, and then try to download it to phone.Still will not let me.Can play track quite happily on the computer, but not on the phone.
As an aside people talk about DRM and how if you are a legal music downloader (like me) then it should not bother you. The problem is I am trying to use music that I have legally downloaded to use on my phone according to my agreement with Nokia, and the DRM is stopping me using it, even though it should not. The reason people are against DRM it is all too good at stopping you doing what you should be doing.
I'm using my Nokia 5310, it has been updated to the latest firmware, I'm on the latest Nokia Music Player, and it expired less than a month ago.
