I just got this HTC One about two weeks ago.
I've noticed that, on a fairly regular occasion, when I unlock the phone, it brings up an old browser window that I launched early on (work webmail login page).
I have tried restarting the phone, and even though I close all apps, this old browser page still comes up from time to time, immediately after unlocking my phone.
Ok people lets just think what if this was to happen? If in late 2010 early 2011Apple decided to show RIM that they could be apart of the qwerty handset market too and launched a device with a substantial browser like that of safari a heaping media player like that of the ipod touch and all of there thousands of apps pilded into one little sleek qwerty form how many of you would jump ship?? i mean would that be the consumer qwerty device you been looking for or would it be a epic fail??

View 4 Replies View Relatedwife's Atrix's browser has a white square on top of the screen whenever she opens the browser. I tried to move it but it won't move. It doesn't respond when I pinch my fingers together to zoom out. This happens only with the browser. I can se some part of the webpages on the upper part of the screen and some on the lower part.But the middle is covered by that square.

The "selfie" window shows up small rather than full screen. The normal back-facing camera is fine.
I have two iPhone apps that have recently stopped working properly: Evernote and Google+. Their behavior is similar, but not identical.Â
Evernote: When launched, the green Evernote launch screen appears for about 10 seconds and then the app quits.Â
Google+: When launched, the app loads and appears to be fetching content (spinning progress dial). However, nothing else ever happens, and all clickable buttons are frozen. Pressing the Home button takes me out of the app.Â
Things I have tried so far:Â Double-clicking on the Home button and force quitting the apps.Re-booting the phoneDeleting the apps completely and reinstalling them from the app store.Deleting all related apps (Gmail, Google Search app, Evernote Food).Â
None of this has changed the behavior of either app. Is there anything else I should try before completely resetting the phone?Â

I have a new Bold 9900 and my messages window is only showing shone numbers and appears to be frozen as well.
I have tried to reset the settings to messages only to no avail. There really seems to be something wrong because new calls are not even showing up Unopened messages continue to show up on the home screen at the top
When you goto phone and select a person, it opens a window to hit the call button for that person - below it shows text messages - even deleted ones. want to remove that feature...

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen ever I try to unlock (dragging lock button from left to right) , I am unable to unlock in one go. It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference.Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.

View 2 Replies View RelatedEvery time I plug my X10 into my PC or laptop, SE Phone Tools pops up with a windows explaining to me how to mount my SD card. If I close this window, it reappears about a minute later and will continue to do so until I quit PC Companion, mount my SD card, or unplug my phone.
Is there any way to disable this window while keeping PC Companion running? I run PdaNet tethering software and will also sometimes charge my phone through my PC. Neither of these situations require me to mount my SD card nor do I wish to always do so.
Either way, there should be an option within PC Companion to permanently disable this useless window (after a week of using the software, I was more than aware how to mount my SD card).
my touch screen cracked after I droppet my Xperia Mini Pro on the pavement. I can still see everything on the screen, but when I try to unlock the phone by sliding the touch screen, there's no reply. The keyboard however works fine, so what I'm wondering is if there's any way for me to use the keyboard to unlock my phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the X6. The phone rings and I unlock the keyguard using the slider on the side of the phone and the phone stops ringing. Then in order to answer the phone I press the green button on the bottom left of the phone or I press answer call on the screen and then I can speak which I suppose sounds fair enough. But I just think that something is wrong because surely the phone should continue to make the 'ringing' noise until I actually answer the call rather than going mute just because I have unlocked the keyguard.. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the phone works?

He hasn't been able to download anything, such as app world. We also discovered that there is no internet browser besides web2go. When I tried to change his default browser to simply "internet browser", that was not an option; it was only web2go or hotspot browser. T-mobile is closed today b/c of holiday, so hopefully someone here can help me! Does anyone have any insight?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI "upgraded" to OS 6.0. Now my BB will not allow me to click on a phone number that I see on the internet and dial it. I have to read the number, memorize it, close the browser, and push in the numbers manually. T-Mobile keeps telling me that it is the webpage that I am on, but it clearly not that. OS 6.0 is quite the downgrade. Can anybody hear any of the lousy notifers that they call ringtones? The helpdesk directs you to buy ringtones from appworld.

I stopped recieving emails and no messages from blackberry messenger. I called Tmobile and they referred me to RIM. When talking to the folks at RIM they say its a Tmobile issue.Host routing table has no entries and no browser or email service books.
