One of the few things that mars the near perfect HTC One camera experience is the lack of volume rocker functionality when taking photos. The fact that it's not on by default is understandable, but that it's missing entirely is bewildering, what an oversight! Any chance there's a fix out there that doesn't involve using a different app?
View 5 RepliesI only noticed yesterday that I cannot alter any volume from the rocker button. Also can't do a system reset using the V- method. Does this mean it's time to call HTC? Dpn't fancy letting Phones 4 U play with it.

View 8 Replies View RelatedIf the berry rings while in the holster and I press "up" on the volume rocker, the incoming call alerts stop (stops ringing and vibrating), however, the call is not terminated.If I press "down" on the volume rocker instead, the call is ended and the call is sent to voicemail.Additionally, if I first press "up" to stop the ringing/vibrating and THEN press "down", the caller is NOT sent to voicemail.With the design of the Bold 9000 and my PDAIR holster, it's pure luck which button my finger hits when retrieving the berry after it starts vibrating/ringing.Is there any way I can change the behavior of the volume "down" rocker so it stops ending calls? Or is there some other measure I can take to achieve similar results?I'm using the Azercell 5.0.0.592 OS (installed fresh).
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to turn the volume up/down with the side rocker buttons, but the dang things do not respond (and yes, the case has been removed). I've had to reboot my N5 each and every time, and its getting very old very fast. I find I have to go into settings and change it there. I've read that there might be an app running that is using my volume, not allowing me to change it. When I went into my apps to see what's running, its the usual stuff. Nothing that would be using it. So, is there an app to find out if there is a rogue app running I don't know about?
View 4 Replies View RelatedHad my HTC Sensation break today.Only had it 3 months so it's still under warranty. The volume rocker fell off. Called T-mobile. They said it was a known issue and would be covered but they said I had to call HTC. So I did. THEY said I had to mail back the BACK of the phone because it was an ACCESSORY! This was not a separate purchase. It was the back that came with the phone! The regular back cover. And after mailing the back, back to HTC they would mail me a replacement. Now if this is a known issue, why isn't T-mobile dealing with it as a customer service? I shouldn't have to mail it back to HTC. It is already an inconvenience to have to drive to the T-mobile store. Or HTC should cover postage. When Dell has to replce a part, they send you a prepaid return label. It is the last HTC phone I will buy and may be the last time I renew with T-mobile.

View 20 Replies View RelatedThis makes the volume rocker and frame look "rough", when I think that's just the camera and flash accentuating ribbed nature of the volume rocker Anyway, does anybody else's look like this around the volume rocker? I can actually push it back in just a tad on the top side of the rocker, but not on the bottom.
If this is the way it is, well, so be it. If it's not, and nobody else has this issue, I'll be exchanging it later. I've done nothing to this phone but hold it in my hand and set it on my bedside table. The VZW rep put it in their black hard-shell case, which is very tight and hard to get off, but other than that, this has been babied during the whopping 16 hours I've had it.
I feel like this was a pretty popular request, and when we all saw the separate volume buttons, many said the same thing.finally we can hold the phone like a normal camera and not have to fiddle with touching the screen.Evidently not, seeing as nothing was mentioned of it in iOS4 or iPhone 4 keynotes, nor is it mentioned in feature overviews. Certainly not a deal breaker, just more of an annoyance. It's odd that Apple hasn't given us this feature without having to jailbreak, as I'd think the coding for it is very minimal.

I seriously, 100% and completely agree with you. I really believe in the touch screen. I love it for everything I do on there. I don't think physical keyboards are easier like some people keep crowing, but GOD, the on-screen camera button is SO EFFING TERRIBLE I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! It makes it so awkward to hold the phone and push the button. There is a level of deep-rooted frustration that pops up when using any piece of technology other than my iphone. The only time that frustrated feeling takes over with the iphone is when I have to use that on-screen button to take a picture. It's a pain in the ass, taking multiple pictures sucks, taking pictures quickly sucks, being unaware of my surrounding while i'm concentrating on threading the needle that is making sure i hit the button correctly sucks. It takes the fun out of photography, it takes the spontaneity away and negates the whole advantage of having a camera with you at all times.
Please somebody beg, borrow, or kidnap steve into making the Perfectly positioned to be a shutter button in a comfortable and funny way that just works. Volume button into a camera shutter / video start stop button when the camera button is open.or at least give me the option. I did some looking and the Camera Zoom 2 app has this as an option. Anybody know of any others? I don't like being stuck using a 3rd party camera app as I'd rather use the one that apple designed to work best with their camera. Maybe I'm just paranoid about other camera apps taking longer, and taking worse pictures, but I really want apple to make this an option.
For now we have already can use OVI map (latest version) on serveral kinds of NOKIA cell phone, but E75 still not, so I just wanna konw did you konw when it's E75's turn.
