I need this app, obtained installing apk's but no luck. I need a radio that works when there is 0 connection to anything, I am running android Revolution 9.3 and the app is gone.
View 24 RepliesOnly properly used the radio today but could only get it to play if I turned the screen off. That's fine if you know the station frequency but if you are wanting to search for a station and don't know the frequency you can't do it. How strange is that.

The problem is that when I start the radio it can search for stations, but no sound is reproduced by speaker or headphones.
It only starts to work if I go to options and start track ID to find the song reproducing. And if I stop track ID sound stops to.
Just bought my new Samsung Galaxy S6 and I was wondering if there is any app that i can download to listen to FM Radio (as you know S6 doesn't has FM Radio) but without using any internet connection??
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the nokia E75 and I have been able to use email through my home wifi network but recently I upgraded my plan with data service. I am able to browse the internet and everything else but my email will not sync. I have tried changing my email connection to use, GoRogers, Rogers Media and Rogers Internet. Gorogers and Rogers Media connect but they don't sync. Rogers Internet does not connect at all with any app I use. I use gmail btw. I live in Onatrio Canada if that helps any. I am really really frustrated with this as I got a data plan mainly for email.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI hate the new OS also! It randomly shuts the radio connection off, so I am not receiving messages or calls. I don't realize this until I try to send a message or make a call. Sometimes it will go all day long before I notice. I can't get into blackberry world - of course I can't log into blackberry on the internet either (not sure what's up with that). I shuts me out of Facebook and says this application is supported through my carrier. It messed up all my ringtones. At first I couldn't delete any messages. I can finally do that - after doing the security wipe. In fact I've had to do a security wipe 3 times since they sent that update out! I hope they're sending an update out soon to fix this last update.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis phone (stock, non rooted) was working with BT fine under 5.01and Kit Kat before it for mostly calls. I know it is the phone because I have tested it now in three different cars, my 2014 Prius, a new Chrysler and Ford. It exhibits the same behavior. Pairing is not a problem. If the screen in on when I enter the car the connection is made. When the screen dims (sleeps) the connection drops shortly thereafter. If I swipe and get the screen back on I can manually re-connect through the car's radio. If I enter the car with the phone in my holster, likely asleep, it will not connect.
Keeping the screen from sleeping appears to "remedy" this issue but that is hardly an option in terms of battery life. Normally I keep the phone in a holster and never had this issue. I have tried every remedy on the Internet. I am using safe lock and have the radio as a trusted device. I have removed safe lock and the same issue ensues. I have unpaired, cleared cache, re-paired etc.
Last night I hooked up the phone to my Garmin Nuvi via BT. No disconnect issues.
I have suddenly a problem on my sony xperia 3 bought 3-4 months ago. It worked always properly but since yesterday I can no longer receive and make calls.When I try to make calls the message to deactivate before airplane mode appears, even if airplane mode is absolutely not selected.Data connection is also out of order but WIFI and bluetooth are working fine.i think it is a software issue, I tried to do everything, resting, extracting the sim card, rebooting but nothing changes.Yesterday Whilst I was using a navi app. it startet to have malfunctions with the application and later I could no longer call.

I generally like the phone and am excited about using it since I am a Windows user and want to take advantage of using my phone with Windows PC. Heard great things about this phone and wanted to try it after years of Android use. I have heard complaints about lack of apps but I am not an apps user except for the most basic ones. My problem is more with connecting to other devices. After receiving phone, downloading updates to installed apps out of the box, I have had problems with connecting/staying connected to WiFi. Had to reboot phone to get any recognition of networks. Working better now. Bluetooth is the current problem.
Phone does not recognize radio. Just searches and searches. Talked to both Verizon and Alpine Stereo. Alpine says I need to update a file since the head unit is four years old. Took Icon to my wife's brand new Escalade and it will not recognize it either. Just searches away. So, four year old or brand new units don't seem to have been set up for Windows phones.
I guinea pigged this, and can confirm it works...partially !!! Install .451, replace java folder with .497, then copy and paste .484 java over that... (NOTE: you may experience an app error reset, just let it reboot and you should be fine!)
View 14 Replies View RelatedMy phone has been acting up since installing the latest iOS 7.1.1. The back lighting for the screen works intermittetly. I have been able to get it to come back on by turning the phone off and back on, but not every time. Once I enabled VoiceOver through Siri and turned ScreenCurtain On and Off. Other times, just clicking the home button and a few times on a notification that would turn the back lighting on. The phone seems to want to respond to turning the back lighting on, but does not do it every time it should. It usually takes 10 - 30 minutes of me working with it to get it to come back on. The phone has not been dropped and is in an Otterbox case.

Checked the forum and did not find any on this post! Ran my battery down to 4% and radio did not turn off. Has Rim done away with this feature? Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?

I can only use the wifi if i go to settings>connectivity>wlan. If i go straight to internet, it tries to connect to t-mobile internet. This also happens when trying to use applications such as bbc iplayer and the ovi store.
Is there a way of setting the wifi connection as the default connection? If not, is there a way of setting up my applications so they connect using wifi?
I just received my 808 replaced by Nokia for the 3G bug issue. Now I have been noticing that annoying Connection Failed connection unavailable message every few seconds. Turned the positioning methods OFF and the frequency of the error message goes away but it still pops up every few minutes. I did a hard reset, removed the memory card where most of my apps are installed and it still gives me that same error. Ordered a new SIM to see if that makes any difference - none - Still same error message. That message is so annoying. Anyone have any other ideas that I could try ? Privacy mode is OFF also.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased an iPhone 4s from Sprint shortly after it came out. I have been able to make calls from nearly anywhere -- I rarely encounter any deadzones. As of today, when I try to make a call I hear 3 short beeps and the phone quits. I've tried to call the iPhone from a landline and get voice mail only. What's going on? I did not intentionally make any changes that I'm aware of. I was able to make a call from my bluetooth equipped car today.

Whenever I try to connect to a network that I already have set up (like my home), my phone says unable to turn WiFi on and the WiFi radio is off.I have tried rebooting my phone, turning it on and off, and even taking the battery out. Nothing seems to work!
