View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently moved from a samsung s3 to the HTC one. I must say, other than the following, I am a bit disappointed:
- Nice smooth keyboard
- Form factor & style
- Back camera
I have issues with the following:
- Very few hand gestures eg swipe contact to message or call, phone to ear for calling, screen palm swipe for screenshot. These features make the s3/s4 great.
- One of my biggest gripes is that you can not time the Do not disturb mode. This is so frustrating. I want to be able to set my phone to DND from 9pm to 6am everyday. I have to manually set it every single day. Is there a workaround for this? How come this was not thought of?
- The colours on the HTC arent as great as those on the samsung. They are a bit "faded" and you can not change that! Very very annoying.
Overall, I I heavily relied on these functions...particularly the DND one. How come HTC did not think of something as basic as this for the One????
My ringer will only vibrate and I can not control volume with the side buttons on my iphone 4.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently started using notifications on my lock screen. I also allow and block the ones I want/don't want to see.
I use Do Not Disturb mode everyday. I can not seem to figure out how to get it off my lock screen... which app/setting to block?
Even though I have Do Not Disturb set during the night, the LED on my phone still lights up for notifications.
Is there a setting to turn this off? It seems ridiculous that you've told the phone you don't want to be disturbed, yet it thinks it's ok to flash an LED light every few seconds!
I Have the nexus 6p on version 6.0. Just this morning my phone was working fine and all of a sudden I have No sound audio. Notifications work. I cannot hear any sound apps like youtube, music players.. Do Not Disturb is not on. I go into sound and notification and everything is turned on and all the way up. When changing a ringtone I can hear all the options.. But NO audio... I have factory wiped/data my phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to use do not disturb with a schedule. I had blocking on with my S5 and it would start blocking at bedtime and turn itself back off in the morning. Do not disturb sounds like it should do the same thing, and it does turn on at night, but it will not shut itself off the next morning. It definitely keeps blocking calls. Is there any solution, besides the next software update (I hope)?
View 11 Replies View RelatedWith Do Not Disturb turned on, all of my notifications are kept quiet, screen doesn't turn on, no vibration - except one app. Facebook still comes through. I keep my S6 on vibrate at night, so it's not that big of a deal (other than draining battery). But the blue flashing LED is annoying and lights up the whole room. Is there anyway to set Facebook quiet hours or something similar? Or set it so it will play nice with Do Not Disturb? I also think the Google Photo assistant does the same. I don't really care if Google has put together a slide show of my vacation in the middle of the night.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow I can get the alarm to sound when the phone is is do not disturb? I found a whole thread on it for the samsung but can't find one for the lg g3, I'm using the lg g3s.
View 1 Replies View RelatedUp until yesterday evening, I could press the down volume key on the side of the phone and I would get a drop down option that I could use to put the phone on vibrate or complete silence. That has now disappeared. Instead, I get a speaker with a slider bar and even when I drag the slider as far as I can to the left, my phone no longer goes on silent. How do I quickly put my phone on vibrate only or complete silence now as I cannot find the option in settings? (plus that way isn't really a shortcut).

So I was about to enable Do Not Disturb mode till next alarm like I do everyday and I found that option is gone. Rebooted it twice and the option is still missing. No clue what's wrong. I am running completely stock 6.0.1
View 3 Replies View RelatedI put my phone on The "do not disturb" and then I power it off and now I can't change the ring volume.
View 5 Replies View RelatedHow to stop it? The schedule function is off, so it can't be that. I've enabled the exception for alarms within it since this keeps happening, but could be dangerous for some people if it does enable on its own like this.
View 6 Replies View Relatedafter Christmas "until next alarm" option disappeared from "Do Not Disturb" menu and then magically reappeared on January 1st. Now again it has disappeared. I'm running the latest stock android MMB29S.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am quite new to the BB world and am encountering a few problems. I have a BB Curve 8520 which is running OS 5.2. At times when I reboot my handheld it shows Uncaught exception 9 > = 9 or Uncaught exception 7 > = 7. I read a bit about it on the forums and found it may be because the system has an if command but there is no end command which may cause this error. Now I am technically not very sound and want to know what should I do to eradicate this problem!!
Also, how many times should one reboot their phone? I mean should it be daily? I read somewhere on the forums here only that it is good to do it daily if at some point I am not clear enough or asking a lot of questions, however,
After I pull the battery on my Curve 8530 (Verizon, v5.0.0.973), I get an error message (or two) that says:Uncaught exception 6 > = 6 Uncaught exception 4 > = f I click "OK," it goes away.I am not aware of any new apps I've downloaded since the error began. In the forums, I saw someone post about checking the log file, but the directions on how to do that were for a different device. Can I do it on the Curve, and if so, how?
