Only once i restore my iphone it changes back to the normal grey colour. How can i stop this from happening? When it is black it looks really intrusive and annoying and i'd really like it to stay grey.

My iPhone 5 was working fine until I put it on the charger then the display turned from my background to grey/black/white bars running vertially across my screen. I have held down the home and power button to reset the phone and still nothing. The phone will not go to sleep or respond in any way (including the silent button). I have had people call my phone and again, will not respond.Â

When I tried to download an app on to my phone I keep getting a message 'Unable to download app' and the icon turns grey. 'Unable to download app at this time' with an option of 'done' or 'try again'.

So I just got my Galaxy S6 64GB Black two days ago and I've noticed the screen becoming very contrasty just after boot, then after I lock and unlock the device, the screen returns to normal. It's a bit hard to explain, but when the screen becomes "contrasty", essentially colours close to black, like a dark grey becomes black.
the keyboard's background would actually appear black in the photo, unlike the screenshot. It seems to happen only after booting up, and goes away after locking and unlocking.I'm using an Optus Australia branded device, it has their boot and shutdown animation. I've also tried doing a factory reset, problem persists.
I would like to put an icon on my home screen that I could tap to put my phone into and out of "do not disturb mode." Is this possible.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm going to apple store, brent cross this thursday, and have phoned them up regarding this and they have told me they 'do not know yet'.I was wondering though, from your point of view, how would you see this: I have reserved a 32gb black phone. I did want a black but now that I've seen the white hands-on I think I would prefer it. I won't know until I go into the shop, however, and get my hands on either.I intend to be one of the first in line. I will wake up VERY early that day and drive myself down there. I have been saving up for 2 years to buy myself this phone and I think it'd be a waste if I didn't at least put in the effort on the morning to ensure the day went well. My only problem is, there will be two lines right? One for reservations and one for unreserved. I'm wondering if I could line up in reserved and then when the store opens and we find out what phones they have (whether white or not is available) if they will let me swap my reservation OR will they send me to the back of the unreserved line? And I'm worried what people will think if I bring my girlfriend with me and strategically place her at the front of the unreserved (without pushing in front of anyone ofc) and if they told me I needed to be unreserved to get a white I just swapped places with her (she wants a black one anyway but hasn't reserved)? In the end I didn't skip any lines and it's not like you moved back any number of places, and it's not like I didn't wait for the same time as you.

Sometimes the icon on the phone is white, sometimes it is grey.what is the difference?I have even stood right next to the router and it's been grey.Is there something in the phone that I have to change to FORCE it to use the wifi? I can't see any means of testing the speed. If I could, I'd see that GPRS gets about 5kb/s, but on wifi it should get 1.3mb.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've never had a problem with any other devices connecting to my home wifi, but my Blackberry 9700 keeps getting the grey wifi icon on the home screen, and when I'm trying to load a website, it keeps switching to Edge or 3G to complete the loading of a webpage. In manage connections, I sometimes have a green tick next to my home broadband, but very often I have a (-). Is there anything I can do to make the connection better?
So far, I've tried:Deleting the connection and setting up the wifi again;
Pulling the battery.Neither has helped. Could it possibly be a hardware fault? I have the up to date OS etc.
Unlocked blackberry bold 9700 (v5.0.0.405, Platform 5.1.0.112) I've had for about 9 months now. Tried to connect to wifi in an airport without success and deletetd the profile. I've never used the wifi before and don't plan on using it again. Now I can't get rid of the inactive grey wifi icon on my homescreen, and occasionally I find my phone connected to AT&T public wifi in random places. I've tried restoring default wifi settings to no avail.

I tried installing the PC Companion to check for updates and altho it shows on the PC, it didn't register on the phone. I've just spent over an hour fiddling around with it and searching for a solution on the net and now it has suddenly decided to work!

Got a used, but mint N5 the other day, stock unrooted running 4.4.4. Popped in my AT&T LG G2 SIM, and all was good for a day. Today, i've noticed that the icon on the top of the phone keeps changing from LTE, to H, and sometimes to NO SERVICE, although the last one changes back after a few seconds. Is this normal, or should i get the SIM card replaced? I live in a 4G LTE area, and never had this problem with the LG G2. Maybe it's a setting issue within the phone? i truly love this phone. The only app that i've put on this phone is Light Flow, just to change the color and speed of the notifications.

I Have Do No Disturb setup on a schedule and even when the phone is locked, calls still ring through during the scheduled time.Â
AFter some searching, ive discovered that this was a bug in previous iOSs.Â

When i removed all music from my iphone 4s there are still some songs which are grey and can't be removed.
