May 28, 2012Does the iPhone4S have any way of showing you, on the desktop or the notification bar, whether or not your Bluetooth is activated? I am always leaving it on and forgetting that it is on. The notification screen shows whether or not Wi-Fi and/or 3G is active, but not Bluetooth. Is there a setting I can tweak to add Bluetooth notification to the notification bar or the desktop? Is there an app for this if Settings won't do it?

Oct 21, 2015Even though I have Do Not Disturb set during the night, the LED on my phone still lights up for notifications.
Is there a setting to turn this off? It seems ridiculous that you've told the phone you don't want to be disturbed, yet it thinks it's ok to flash an LED light every few seconds!

Apr 16, 2015I want to use do not disturb with a schedule. I had blocking on with my S5 and it would start blocking at bedtime and turn itself back off in the morning. Do not disturb sounds like it should do the same thing, and it does turn on at night, but it will not shut itself off the next morning. It definitely keeps blocking calls. Is there any solution, besides the next software update (I hope)?

Nov 24, 2015With Do Not Disturb turned on, all of my notifications are kept quiet, screen doesn't turn on, no vibration - except one app. Facebook still comes through. I keep my S6 on vibrate at night, so it's not that big of a deal (other than draining battery). But the blue flashing LED is annoying and lights up the whole room. Is there anyway to set Facebook quiet hours or something similar? Or set it so it will play nice with Do Not Disturb? I also think the Google Photo assistant does the same. I don't really care if Google has put together a slide show of my vacation in the middle of the night.

When I'm in a call, sometimes I hear the sound of pressing a button, and when I take the phone away from my ear to check what happened, I keep finding the Notification Panel open with different options activated / deactivated. Sometimes I find it directly in Settings, in Battery Usage, in Date/Time, I think it depends on which option is pressed in the Notification Panel.

Jul 21, 2014A new icon next to the WiFi activated connected suddenly appeared. It is a capital N but on the lower left side are 3 quarter circles ie like a wifi symbol & I am not sure why it is showing. My default home page on the internet is BBC & I thought that may be it was something to do with that as it was down for the last few days. But it is up & running now & the icon is still there. The N icon only shows when I connect my phone to my wifi at home. The phone says its connected to the wifi (message re the same) & indeed the wifi direct symbol is on with the arows flickering away. It also stays on even though I am right next to the wifi. I have had the phone for 2 months or so & it never used to show this symbol. The wifi at home has not changed & works normally with all other devices.

May 12, 2011I thought it would be useful to make a bug list, that way anyone with a specific problem can come here to see if it's common and if there's any workarounds."Wi-Fi Sharing" process activated when tethering not enabled..Problem description: When using my phone earlier when connected to wifi, my battery went down very fast. Looked in the battery monitor, and it showed that the "Wi-fi sharing" process was using more power than the screen (which is unusual) - it used about 10% in half an hour. I also noticed my phone had clocked up to 1.2ghz and was getting pretty hot. I force stopped the process, and the CPU clocked back down to 200mhz.
Reproducing the problem: It appears to happen if you've enabled or configured tethering once. When it happens to me, it happens if I disable then enable wifi. It may or may not be specific to the type of wifi network you connect to.Root your phone and freeze "Wi-Fi sharing" in Titanium Backup. This will not effect Kies air or anything, though could effect tethering. If your tethering no longer works after freezing this application, defrost it to restore tethering functionality.Most people are saying this, and another wifi drain issue, have been fixed in the latest firmware(s).Potential issues when restoring settings from a rooted phone to a non rooted SGS II via Google.I did have a little problem here and there when I first got my SGSII. When I setup the google account, I chose to allow google to restore my settings. It is pretty cool as it restored all the apps I had with my old SGS but I suspect some of the apps I had is for the custom rom only hence I had problem everywhere with the new SGSII. I then did a factory reset and setup without the restore bit and since then I havn't had a single problem yet.My phone came with XWKDD and I heard something about this firmware has fixes to the previous ones, so it might worth upgrade your firmware if you are ok with Odin So my suggestions to you is, do a factory reset and rebuild your phone from scratch without restoring, if problem still exists, consider a firmware update.

Nov 14, 2011Yesterday I have added my Facebook and Linked in accounts in Social Hub. I thought it was like an app or somekind. All I saw was updates from my FB home page. I cant do anything else other than seeing all those updates. I mean I can upload any photos or videos, I understood that its not an app kind but something else. Now, how do I remove/delete those two accounts from that social hub. Couldn't see any options available? Also noticed in other forums that once if we delete that account it cannot be added again coz of SNS feed issues?

Jan 30, 2014I just recently moved from a samsung s3 to the HTC one. I must say, other than the following, I am a bit disappointed:
- Nice smooth keyboard
- Form factor & style
- Back camera
I have issues with the following:
- Very few hand gestures eg swipe contact to message or call, phone to ear for calling, screen palm swipe for screenshot. These features make the s3/s4 great.
- One of my biggest gripes is that you can not time the Do not disturb mode. This is so frustrating. I want to be able to set my phone to DND from 9pm to 6am everyday. I have to manually set it every single day. Is there a workaround for this? How come this was not thought of?
- The colours on the HTC arent as great as those on the samsung. They are a bit "faded" and you can not change that! Very very annoying.
Overall, I I heavily relied on these functions...particularly the DND one. How come HTC did not think of something as basic as this for the One????
