We spent an hour on the phone to AT&T support with no help. The icon is gold round with gridlines as latitude and longitude. The number "1" is beside it. It is at the top to the right of the email icon. I have a screen capture of it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedEver since the update I've had what I'm assuming is a notification icon on my screen and I've tried everything i can think of to figure out what it could be. It's appears to be a golden globe (almost like that of the web browser icon - which was what i though it was related to) with a number 1 next to it just as if it was a message or social network notification. Does anyone know what this icon might be and how to possibly get rid of it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm sick of random reboots and out of memory errors on my Symbian phone. All I want to do is have a browser open (time to time) along with email from 2 accounts, as well as a Skype client (mainly for text chat) and perhaps a twitter client. All running at once. Will that saturate all the RAM on the device? Or should it work just fine.. Accepting phone calls while those apps are running would be a nice bonus as well. This combination would free from my work desk a lot.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using an unlocked Iphone 3GS on Tmobile. I think the Nexus One and HD2 are way more sexier in terms of screen display than my ugly Iphone. I hope you guys can help me out, so here's the dilemma: I've never seen a Nexus One in person but my friend has a HD2 and Ive completely fallen in love with it's massive screen. One big problem though, it's on WinMo (even though the Sense UI is fluid and beautiful) . On the other hand, people tell me that the Nexus one is he closest you can get to a HD2 that runs android. What should I do??? Wait to see if HTC ever makes a HD2 that runs android and is compatible with Tmobile or simply switch to a nexus one??

Is it possible to downgrade from 5.1.1 to 4.4.4?
View 10 Replies View RelatedIs there a way in the stock messaging app, or is there a specific messaging app available in the play store where I could:
Draft a txt and then send to multiple recipients without each recipient being able to see the other? Basically the same thing as sending an email to multiple people via BCC option.
Would be handy for business purposes. I don't care if they see my contact. I just don't want them to see eachothers contact since not everyone I'd send to would know the other (and/or want their contact information shared).
Obviously I could copy and paste the same message to multiple people via individual txt msgs... but being able to send a group txt would be way more efficient.
As if says in the title, the Nexus 6 alarm does not go off, one does, but the second one does not.

View 11 Replies View RelatedAm having problems charging my nexus 5 since last night.
I reflashed the Kitkat 4.4.4 rom on my nexus 5 from lollipop after i couldn't stand the ram issue lollipop having.
The following night my battery was at 20% and i left it charge overnight and i woke up finding before going work, found that the battery was still charging at 20% .
I tried with the original charger plug and cable and also wireless charging qi nothing charges and phone is losing percentage and have to keep using from the mains to keep the phone on.
When i use the usb cable or qi charger it says charging on screen then it goes not charging.
I tried re flashing 4.4.4 cleared the cache and tried different usb cables and wall plugs the problem still persists.
I replaced the battery beginning of March this year after i had this phone since launch day and new battery was fine.
I had a Galaxy S3 on Verizon but finally just couldn't take Verizon anymore so I switched to a Nexus 5 on Aio that runs on the AT&T network. I use to use the tethering on my S3 to do work when I was on-call but that requires me to access a VPN and I did that all the time without out any problems. However, ever since I switched to my Nexus 5 I can't connect to any VPNs. Do I need to do something different?
I've tried using the built-in tethering app and also tried using Fox-Fi (paid version) both do the same thing. Just as a side note Fox-Fi is what I used on the S3 and it worked perfectly.
It keeps randomly restarting after the ota of the 6.0.1 I've don't a factory reset and wipe cache should I downgrade?
