Jul 4, 2015Transferred from a GS4 to new GS6E, and the woman at Verizon couldn't take the time of transferring my photos. So, she gave me my memory card that was in my GS4, and said "it's easy to transfer from here to the new phone". Ummm, not so easy. I downloaded the pics to my Mac desktop, but even with a USB cord, the phone isn't accepting the photos.

May 31, 2015I have a bunch of pictures and videos that I'm trying to transfer to this S5 and it's just giving me errors whatever way I try. I've tried moving all of them from my pc to the phone through usb and it will transfer some of them and then just stop partially through like it's frozen. I've tried sending them straight to the microsd card in the phone, and also tried transferring them to the internal storage and both methods had the same result. Then I tried instead to compress all the files into a .rar and then transfer but that method hasn't worked either.
The loading bar will appear as usual and when it gets almost completed it gives an error saying something along the lines of "cannot copy file because device has been disconnected or stopped responding". I used to be able to transfer files to this phone all the time until just yesterday so what can be causing this problem. This is the same phone, and pc that I've been using for a while now, the only thing different is now there's a different sims card and microsd card in the phone, but I don't figure that has anything to do with the connection problem it seems to be having?

Jun 25, 2015So I took a video of me shooting a paper ball and slightly missing a trash can from my Galaxy S6 using the slow motion feature. I took that video and transferred it to my computer to edit it and put Chariots of Fire as the background music. I saved that file, keeping the exact same file type (MP4) and transferred it back to my phone. However, now when I view it on my phone, the video is the fraction of the size even though the dimensions still say 1280 x 720. When I press the full screen button, it enlarges but only vertically. I've tried converting it to H.624 and I'm normally pretty good at figuring this stuff out but I've hit a wall.

Nov 24, 2011Love the phone - just got a really irritating problem. I've synced my phone with my gmail account - the My Contacts list has my key contact email addresses. Then I have multiple groups within gmail account relating to work emails etc, nearly 500 odd.
On the phone, when I click my 'Contacts' button, initially it showed all my phone number contacts, as well all google email contacts mixed with them. I corrected this by going to 'display options' to select 'display only contacts with phone numbers', so that I didn't have to trawl through random email addresses mixed with my proper phone contacts. Great, sorted.
But, when I go to compose a text message - if it is to one or two specific contacts it is fine...I just type their name and it comes up. If I want to scroll through all my phone contacts to send the same message to multiple contacts, big problem - I press that envelope button in the top right corner next to 'enter recipient', and it takes me to the Contacts list, but here it still shows ALL 600 odd contacts with phone contacts still mixed with google email contacts, which is impossible to scroll through and select multiple people to send a text message to....Does anyone know how to sort this out?!??!

AT&T couldn't add my Droid Maxx to their service, so now I have a phone, with contacts from google, but the contacts don't have any phone numbers even though on a computer I can clearly see the phone numbers. Jun 8, 2010I have an Xperia X10 for 3 months. The contacts file uploaded from windows to google ok, but the sync with the X10 continuously failed & only worked properly last week. I've backup the 8310 so have the contacts on my PC. When I try to restore selected data it doesn't offer me the option to do the contacts saying that they are read only!

BB (RIM) :: 8310 Transferring Contacts From Curve To SIM
Jan 30, 2010My old SIM card died and I got a new one for my Curve 8310. I had the data plan taken off of the Curve in July 2008 and had been using it data-less ever since.Since I got my new sim card, I got texts saying that my BlackBerry Smartphone required a data plan and to call 611 to add a data plan.About 5 minutes later (I was at school), I got another text saying that AT&T automatically added a data plan to my account.
So today I called and got that data plan removed, requiring me to switch phones back to an old SE W580i.
My problem is that I need to copy 87 contacts to my sim card to use in my W580i. When I select a contact, hit the BlackBerry key and look for "Copy to SIM" I don't see anything like that. Nothing at all. The only thing I get relating to the SIM is "Sim Phone Book" which obviously has zero entries.Another problem is that even with the phone only being on for about 5 minutes, I start getting the texts that it's going to have a data plan added
