I accidentally flashed the edge version of twrp to my regular s6, 920r4. Now my touchscreen is reversed along the xaxis. When I dial *#2663#, nothing happens, only a dialtone goes on.
View 10 RepliesI've got a problem with my new Galaxy S6 (G920F). Rooted - la Chainfire with Odin.
After this process the phone seem to work fine. But the x axis is inverted.
Means: If I want to go into appdrawer which is on the right buttom side I need to click at the left buttom.
I tried to change the DPI to 480 what worked fine (after the above mentioned problem). Now camera as well as my keyboard is way to small for the screen. I've already seen the problem with the camera and a black border but it didn't seem to have been fixed yet..
I replaced the cracked LCD. Every time time the screen is awakened the touchscreen seems to randomly choose a different Y-axis starting position. Sometimes it is correct sometimes it is a little off and sometimes way off. Is this a defective replacement or is it an android issue.

I have the Samsung Galaxy S6 with Android 5.1.1. Clicking central icons so good, but if the left click-activate the right and vice versa, so it is with the keyboard.My phone will rotee, install the recovery and install a stoc-rom, which one does not remember why I did several tests to see which I liked more.
I have done everything known: factory reset of the two known forms, install multiple stoc-rom, firmwares of several countries, including return to the previous version of Android 5.0.1, which I see, can not go back. All this with the Odin program. Also with Samsung Smart Switch "Emergency Recovery and initialization software."
I've been using the version of Android that came with my S2 for about a year. I use Keis and it managed to copy my Contacts and Schedule from my Office 2003 on my PC and it was fine on the S2.I upgraded to Android 4 this morning. The Schedule looks fine.The Contacts look fine apart from the fact that the Addresses read from bottom up - post code, town, street, house number.

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I'm having some troubles with my touchscreen. I've had this problem a few times now, and it seems to act up more often now. Sometimes the screen doesn't register my finger. After I reboot, it works fine again. I believe it's always on the same place. Take a look at the screenshots that I've added.
Is this software related or hardware related? I'm in doubt if I should send it back for repair. I'm afraid that i'll lose my nillkin tempered glass screen protector ...

I had so many problems in the last days. I flashed the first INU 5.1.1 version on my G920I, after a few problems flashing TWRP. Finally I got the phone working and no major problems until last days when battery started to malfunction.
Anyway, after that I tried to flash the latest INU 5.1.1 version (G925IDVU2COGA_G925IODD2COGA_G925IDVU2COGA_HOME.ta r) but the phone couldn't start the Odin process. Then I tried another roms but nothing (all of them 5.1.1) after that I flashed the TWRP and made a stupid "factory wipe" and then my device was soft bricked.
The phone was on boot loop.. Finally, I splitted COGA rom in parts (modem.bin, cache, etc) and flashed system separated from the rest ROM. This worked but the only file that wasn't possible to load was sboot.bin cm.bin. Anyway, after that I tried to reflash COGA in one part but nothing. Finally I used the COF room (INU 5.1.1 from sammobile) and it was flashed full with no problems via Odin but now my device has the TOUCH SENSOR INVERSED. when I type in the right the letters on the left side of the keyboard are pressed.
By now I don't know what to do. Except that I am trying to flash a modded stock rom to get things fixed .
I jailbroke my phone today and gave it a whirl. Even changed the root password as per the online instructions. i've since decided to go back to a normal, un-jailbroken phone by restoring everything. In doing so, does that restore the root password back to what it was, or is it still set to what I changed it to earlier today?
View 9 Replies View RelatedAnyone else notice that the e-mail list seems a little backwards? When I first started using the slide gesture, I thought that things seemed backwards. If I was reading an e-mail, and want to see the next e-mail, I slide my finger from left to right, which makes it seem like I turning a page in a book backwards to get to the next message. But what the hell, this is a new function, so I figured I'd live with it.
Today, for the first time in a long time, I had the slider open, and attempted to use 'n' and 'p' to move to next and previous messages. But these are definitely backwards from what my Bold used to do. 'n' moves "down" the list, meaning it move to the next OLDER message, not the next newer one. I'm not sure how this could be deliberate - it seems very intuitive to me that 'next' being a relative term would be measured by time. So the next e-mail should be the next later e-mail, not the next earlier one.
And if someone knows a way to change the functions, that would be great. Otherwise, do others also perceive this as backwards, or is it just me? Should I try to pursue this as a bug, and have a bug reported to RIM?
My recently purchased Iphone 5 works great with one annoying issue. The volume buttons on the side are reversed. The button with the minus sign increases the volume and is directly underneath the mute toggle. The button with the plus sing decreases the volume.Â
View 6 Replies View RelatedI factory reset my phone and during the process of signing in, agreeing to T&C's etc, a strange problem started occurring - the touchscreen became super unresponsive (had to press something three of five times for it to respond), however, at the same time, the phone would quickly vibrate on touch multiple times, but again, not actually do anything. Moreover, a weird blue text box started appearing around the options I touched and I can't swipe down to access the normal settings menu.
And to top it all off, if I long hold the power button to force restart/power off, it just won't do it. (tried the old "turn it off and on" trick to see it'll do the trick)
Everything was all normal until this point, had my phone for a couple of months, haven't dropped it or anything.
I ordered my iphone on apple's website. If i were to cancel would my eligibility be reversed automatically so i can order from att premier?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI signed up here less than 5 mins ago in the hopes of finding some assistance with my problem.I have a N97, the touchscreen is not responding at all, the phone starts fine, the keypad works fine, but the touchscreen isnt working.
I live in Trinidad, so there is no recognized company or nokia trianed technicians I can send it to.I did however send it to a general phone technician, he said that the touch sensor isnt working and he needs to get a touch sensor (have to wait 2-3weeks for this as there is a lack of parts for the N97 in my country also.I only read about the "hard reset" today on these forums, I plan to retrieve the phone from the technician tomorrow and try the hard reset but any information or ideas in the meantime would be greatly appreciated.
I believe the phone may have fell down atleast once (sibling may have dropped it and didnt tell me)
I have a severe Nokia C7 problem. I woke up yesterday and found out that the phone touchscreen is not working while it is always locked. I tried several solutions but it didn't work. I tried to do a hard reset. Now the phone is asking me for a language setup but the screen is not responsive at all.

The main reason being that i played with the Droid Incredible and the I-Phone 4 and the touchscreen on the I-phone is so perfectly responsive. Now if i get a call i can unlock it (After i missed the call )This all started today, which it has never done before.. i have tried the suggested found on the tmobile site for troubleshooting the HTC HD, but only works as long as i dont let the phone lock.Once its locked i have to wait for something to happen to unlock it, my buttons on the bottom work and turn on the phone. I have only had the phone for 1.5yrs maybe 2yrs. It running WM6.5 if that matters or helps suggest solutions.

My touchscreen has stopped working. There were no error messages. It was intermittenent for about one hour before it stopped completely. At first I could turn it off and turn it back on again. It would work again for about 5 minutes then become unresponsive again. I am unable to turn it off even now. I cleaned the screen, it wasn't dirty. I've updated to iOS 5. I restored to factory settings and its the same issue. It hasn't had a bang or anything.

My touchscreen was working normally; but after i got a screen protection cover i applied some pressure on the screen in order to push the air bubbles.This resulted in a dead strip on the top line of the screen that is not responding well now.
for example,Genera-Settings-Network-Enable 3G : i can't swipe it from on to off .
same with wifi : i can't change it on or off.
another example is in Safari : on the google bar when i type something & then tap & hold, i see the 3 options " Select,Select all,Paste" ...i can't press any of these 3 options.
