I added the "yet" to the question because I'm still hoping they'll fix this mess.I'm also wondering if anyone who got the cancellation email did what it said to do, go into a local Apple or ATT store to complete the order. Is there something they can do at a store other than what they can do over the phone?

Even changed the root password as per the online instructions. i've since decided to go back to a normal, un-jailbroken phone by restoring everything. In doing so, does that restore the root password back to what it was, or is it still set to what I changed it to earlier today?

View 10 Replies View RelatedAnyone else notice that the e-mail list seems a little backwards? When I first started using the slide gesture, I thought that things seemed backwards. If I was reading an e-mail, and want to see the next e-mail, I slide my finger from left to right, which makes it seem like I turning a page in a book backwards to get to the next message. But what the hell, this is a new function, so I figured I'd live with it.
Today, for the first time in a long time, I had the slider open, and attempted to use 'n' and 'p' to move to next and previous messages. But these are definitely backwards from what my Bold used to do. 'n' moves "down" the list, meaning it move to the next OLDER message, not the next newer one. I'm not sure how this could be deliberate - it seems very intuitive to me that 'next' being a relative term would be measured by time. So the next e-mail should be the next later e-mail, not the next earlier one.
And if someone knows a way to change the functions, that would be great. Otherwise, do others also perceive this as backwards, or is it just me? Should I try to pursue this as a bug, and have a bug reported to RIM?
I have the Samsung Galaxy S6 with Android 5.1.1. Clicking central icons so good, but if the left click-activate the right and vice versa, so it is with the keyboard.My phone will rotee, install the recovery and install a stoc-rom, which one does not remember why I did several tests to see which I liked more.
I have done everything known: factory reset of the two known forms, install multiple stoc-rom, firmwares of several countries, including return to the previous version of Android 5.0.1, which I see, can not go back. All this with the Odin program. Also with Samsung Smart Switch "Emergency Recovery and initialization software."
I've been using the version of Android that came with my S2 for about a year. I use Keis and it managed to copy my Contacts and Schedule from my Office 2003 on my PC and it was fine on the S2.I upgraded to Android 4 this morning. The Schedule looks fine.The Contacts look fine apart from the fact that the Addresses read from bottom up - post code, town, street, house number.

Now this is speaking from a DEVELOPER point of view. Would you like to see iPhone exclusivity stop? To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. What do you think from a developer point of view?

We have purchased SSL Certificates from verisign to do 802.1x authentication. However when attempting to connect I still receive the "Not Trusted" Certificate message. In testing I have e-mailed all of the seperate certs to myself to see for sure which one in the chain is not trusted. I find that the Root Certificate "Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5" dated 11/7/2006 to 7/16/2036 is the one that mis matches the one in on my phone. I read that the key for the cert http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5012 doesnt match the one directly from Verisign therefore verisign cert isnt trusted.

I have bought loads of music off itunes before and loaded to my iphone. I recently bought an album that for love nor money will not load to my iphone although is clearly visible in my itunes account. With my iPhone 4, running iOS 5.1.1, syncing notes in Mail results in a stange blank Notes document appearing in the Notes sidebar in Mail. The Notes look like a yellow sheet of ruled paper, as they do on my iPhone, but they open to reveal no information other than their names.
Once opened, they disappear from my list of Notes, and upon the next sync via USB cable from my iPhone to my Mac, the notes also disapepar from the phone. When opened in Mail, the blank and useless no-longer-a-note Notes will not close unles I quit Mail. I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. In Mail, I've tried both listing the Notes in the Inbox, and as their own separate group.
