I messed up my Camera app , and its gone. I tried fixing it but it doesn't want to work, any flashable zip of the stock or a (preferably) modded camera app (no low battery restriction) for 5.1.1 ? G920F XXU2BOGE (latest firmware)
I recently got a Samsung Galaxy s6 Edge. Loving the phone, but was surprised not to see raw support and shutter speed ability in the stock camera app, as last may I was convinced I had read that it was going to have an 'exciting' camera update. After some research, I discovered this had been updated and implemented in Android 5.1.1.
So does this mean even with the impending 6.0 update, that the only way to use raw or tinker with the shutter speed will be via a third party app? If so that seems a bit lame..
I do love my lg g4 but compared to the s6 edge it looks ancient, the camera capabilities are simply amazing though. That's why I don't get why Samsung hasn't made it accessible from their own app?
Been messing with xposed on XtreStoLite Deodex 2.2 with my 920T. I had to restore a backup that was working perfectly fine before.. Upon flashing the backup, my stock camera is gone. I see the folder/apk in the system/app location..
I installed Xstrestolite Odexed 2.0 version onto my GS6, but since then the stock camera app would not take the location information/Geotag of a photo taken regardless if the location option is on or off. Other camera apps such as Google Photo and Procapture, however, would.
Part of the ROM package includes the stock Samsung apps that can be selectively installed back. I'm assuming the location functionality is related to one of these stock apps. How to resolve this?
I see a lot of difference in the pics taken with K850 and C905 even if its the same one. I know its a 8MP in C905.but is there any other difference, i mean in the lens quality, the hardware etc Bcos recently i checked the pics taken with a modded C905, its just as from an SLR. The problem with K850 (for me) is that, when i take pics of distant objects in daylight (say 10meters) the camera fails to produce the detail..But this not the case with C905, i can see the image more clearly. also the longer the subject is the colors are not correct.("purple edges" on small objects with sky as background). But these all are gone with C905 pics. So my point is Is C905 having a better camera H/W ? or is it the software? and lastly is there any modded K850 cam driver which can take pica like c905'say be my knowledge is little regarding this issue
I have the G3 for a few months now and like it. One of the reasons I got it was because of the camera. The problem I've had, though, is that when I edit pictures and tap Done, the changes/edits don't save in the gallery.
i've bought an unlocked T-Mobile HTC Sensation and was running gingerbread Android Revolution HD for Sensation. my Camera app has suddenly stopped working... I've tried updating to latest ICS from Android Revolution HD 6.5.1 but still the camera is not working. when i start the app... the screen flashes and then again I'm back on the home screen. Strangely, when using application "mirror" it starts the front camera... and that is working fine... and i've tried multiple apps from market for back camera...but its not working using any of them

i recently got the cyan update for my NL lumia 1520 (yes we have it!)and just since a few days i have been experiencing problems with the stock camera.there is this wonderful feature called <<tap to take photo>> (its been around since wp7)normally you tap the screen, it places a nice square around the place you tapped, it focusses on that spot and then takes a photo.now it just skips the focus and square part and just takes the picture.
this still isnt that bad, cuz of the lumia camera (lumia right, at least the nokia one with recropping and stuff) but whenever i want to take a shot from whatsapp it opens up the stock camera app and it takes bad pictures all over again!its horrible! i didnt spend over 500$ to have a device that cant take proper pictures!and i know its not the cyan update in general because my brother has the 925 and now problems.
Could somebody please mod the c901 display driver so that the light sensor is disabled and display brightness can truly be adjusted manually? I know there is a patching alternative, but a modded display driver would be much more convenient.
The stock camera app on my Droid Razr Maxx will no longer open. I have had ICS for several weeks without issue. It was yesterday that the camera stopped working.
I select the camera icon and the screen blanks like it is going to open, but it does not. I come back to the original screen where the camera icon is located.
I have cleared the cache. I have performed a full factory reset. Still no camera. I also tried downloading a third party camera app, and it will not open, due to a camera error. Don't remember the exact words in the error message.
Bottom line, the camera no longer works. I still have my photos, and I can view them using my gallery.
I'm missing something but since my Lollipop upgrade, the stock camera app will capture pics but won't let me review them. After I snap a picture, I have to leave the camera app then open the "Photos" app to review them.
I know many of us did not buy this phone for its camera capabilities, but given that this is part of the Xperia line, it's disappointing that this phone did not ship with at least the X10's imaging software. Sony Ericsson was content to put their on touch on many areas of the device, yet, they decided to NOT touch one of worst pieces of Android. Would anyone else have liked SE to tweak the camera software? I wasn't expecting Arc-status, but I also wasn't expecting such a low-quality experience on such a "high-end" device.
I am on Ex Kernel, and I want to go stock again, and how can I control the focus of the camera? Its really hard to focus something small, the camera focuses the background only in some photos...
I'm running stock 6.0.1 rooted with Xposed (only using gravitybox). When I do the double tap on power to launch the camera, nothing happens other than the power button functioning normally. It did work at one point but I'm not sure if it was an app, Xposed or a system setting which stopped this feature from working. I tried disabling Gravitybox but left Xposed itself still installed. I've also tried changing the "Power buttons locks instantly" setting under Security but that didn't make any difference either.
My phone is currently rooted, with a different kernel and running deodexed XtreStoLite. How to go back to stock? I want to trade my phone in soon at T-Mobile and I know they'll notice the phone is rooted, since it says "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" when booting up. Everything works fine, though. I know in most people's case that text only shows for bootloop, but mine works fine.
my 920F has previously 5.1.1 from another csc, probably UK and the app freeze stock in 5.1.1 appear but now flashed spanish (ATL vodafone) and the freeze menu has gone i think.
How to come back ? appears that all the 100% apps stays in auto-freeze cause the notifications from apps disappear and lags considerably
I have a SM-G920F phone and I recently flashed the UK version of Lollipop to be able to participate in Marshmallow beta program. I didn't like it because it didn't support my gear VR and I went back to Lollipop. Now I have the UK version installed on my phone and I can't get rid of the Android 6.0 beta OTA software update notification.
So I would like to flash the Nordic countries firmware but my pc is broken and I don't have admin permissions for my pc at work. It there a way to flash it without a pc?
I'm about to fully flash my device back to stock. I have a o2 UK variant s6. I have downloaded the correct 5.1.1 rom via sammobile. However the worry I have is about the bootloader, do I have to do anything with it.
I removed/uninstalled the stock gallery app. Even though I have google photo installed, I got an error message when I try to access gallery by clicking the gallery icon in the samsung stock camera app. I also could not set the wallpaper for the lock screen, as when I click the gallery icon in the setting screen, it gave me similar error message saying "app not installed". How I could restore the stock gallery app, or change the default app to google photo (preferred option).
I am using samsung s6 with mtk 6589 cpu. What i did is i wanted to root it but failed because odin cannot detect the phone. So,i hard reset the phone and reboot it.After reboot it, my imei is gone ,wifi mac address is gone, bluetooth address also gone.
And also, my phone doesn't show its model number it put there ''Android''. Before i hard reset it, the model number is SM-G9200.
What I am planning to do is downloading the stockrom from samMobile and flash it :/ i wonder if this will work since it is an MTK phone. Odin cant detect my phone.
