So I got my Galaxy S6 today. I noticed that when I try to play a story on snapchat, the images will load perfectly. The video however, will lag and stutter, making the video unwatchable. I have cleared cache, uninstalled, etc. Still happens.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI record my drive to and from work. About 20 minutes into the drive the camera will stop recording. I have done a hard reset; updated the software, and even tried it in safe mode. Verizon has sent me a replacement, and it is worst.
This started the first day I got the phone. I dismissed is as a weird setting, camera stops after so many minutes. But after awhile, it seems to be a problem with the phone.
I'm a vivaz user and I have to say I like the phone but I can't record any HD video because it stutters. I did everything possible to help the camera, even a master reset but it didn't help me. The only thing I saw improvement with was using my girlfriend's 4gb memory card. Maybe it was because it was empty but if my 8gb memory card is empty it still stutters.
View 13 Replies View RelatedWhen recording video using the back camera on snapchat the recording is extremely laggy beyond being watchable and the processed video is still laggy and the quality is significantly lower than the display. This is using the standard video quality in the snapchat settings although the lag remains even on lower quality settings. The front facing 'selfie' camera however is fine.
This issue only occurrs using snapchat, recording with the back camera on the default camera app on the htc one is fine so is this an issue on snapchat's part or is something wrong with my camera?
Having the issue off Snapchat being too dark on front facing camera when shooting video.And when shooting video on rear camera it's starts to zoom automatically.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI notice sometimes a bit of stutter when i am scrolling through the contacts and log, you notice it when you try to scroll slowly, and in the app drawer there is some too, it happens when you do not open the app drawer for a bit of time, then you open it and slide between the pages and the first slide stutter a bit, after that its fine..... I am thinking of doing a factory reset..... I have my phone for about 5 weeks now....

Nevertheless, i noticed a stuttering/scrolling lag in almost every app. For example: scrolling up and down on whatsapp chats stutters every time. It is not smooth as my old iphone 5. On instagram, facebook, contacts, playstore, occurs the same problem... they are not heavy apps, I can not really understand why it is happening. It is bothering me and I will come back to apple if this problems persists.
I've had my ATT S6 64GB since the release day, and my biggest peeve is that the bluetooth audio seems to incessantly stutter. I've narrowed the issue down: - Happened independently of proximity between phone and speaker - Not a streaming bandwidth issue, as it happened regardless of streaming a song or playing a song that was stored locally on the phone. Using (wired) headphones, this is never an issue. - An issue on several speaker models (Bluetooth speaker names are: Bose Mini SoundLink, DNX6190HD, SC-HTB580, Fugoo Speaker), and other phones had no issues streaming to these devices.
I've been using my Spotify app. I'm not sure if this is part of the issue. It may be some sort of lag in the app processing the sound in conjunction with the bluetooth module? Not sure...
Since 5.1.1 I have a stutter in all Google apps and some other ones as well. The device itself is running very smoothly but once in app, Newsstand, Play Store, Google Music etc. the whole app stutters and lags.
It is most noticeable when I am pulling out menu from left, the whole animation just stutters, the same happens after I select anything, like setting. I have Wiped the device and nothing changed, clearing only cache doesn't work either.
I bought a Galaxy S6 one month ago. I am not receiving snaps now. I get no notifications, and I have no new snaps listed, when I click on my friends. Although they are sending them out often.

My instagram and snapchat will not refresh or load at all unless I turn off my wifi and use my data. I've tried restarting my phone and resetting it by taking out the battery and stuff but nothing works.
So to make it clear the apps work while using Data but does not work when Im using my WiFi. And just last week I could use my WiFi for the apps and now i cant. I haven't updated my phone at all since then either.
I was wondering if there was an easier, more streamlined setting I am missing where you can save the pics you download from 3rd party apps right to the memory card. I have been downloading them and then manually moving them to the memory card but its always a hassle. The normal camera app gives you the nice setting to have them auto save to the memory card so that's awesome. Though I am wondering if other apps I use can do this too?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I took a video of me shooting a paper ball and slightly missing a trash can from my Galaxy S6 using the slow motion feature. I took that video and transferred it to my computer to edit it and put Chariots of Fire as the background music. I saved that file, keeping the exact same file type (MP4) and transferred it back to my phone. However, now when I view it on my phone, the video is the fraction of the size even though the dimensions still say 1280 x 720. When I press the full screen button, it enlarges but only vertically. I've tried converting it to H.624 and I'm normally pretty good at figuring this stuff out but I've hit a wall.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S6 edge on T-Mobile and juts noticed this morning that whenever I attempt to record a video I get a warning stating "The video codec is currently being used by other applications..."
Is it possible to determine which application has it in use? I've closed all running applications which didn't resolve the problem. Restarted the phone without starting any other applications before the camera and that failed. I'm not seeing any information about this issue in the couple of searches I've done so far but wonder if it's an isolated issue or something common.
Short of a Factory Reset, which I'm not fully opposed to doing, is there a potential solution?

View 9 Replies View RelatedSince "upgrading" to lollipop on my Verizon G3, using Google Play Music, I'm getting a really annoying stutter when Bluetooth streaming. Random stutters, freezes, drops. VERY intermittent. Didn't do this prior to lollipop. Strangely though, metadata is showing all the time now, which is an improvement.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy new Z2 D6503 is on .167 (4.4.4 KK) firmware, and when I connect it to my car's bluetooth audio system, sometimes it stutter really bad that I cannot enjoy the music. My car is 2014 and it also has the ability to read text messages.So after some investigation, I found a temporary solution to the dropouts:
1) If I just disable throw and reconnect, stuttering still exist.
2) If I just disable BT and re-enable, sometimes it fixes it but sometimes I lose AVRCP (control via car)
3) going into bluetooth setting, and disable MAP (text message), dropouts improved dramatically (from every 10 secs to every 1 mins or so)
4) disabling bluetooth Phone audio (so the only thing left is Bluetooth media audio) completely solves the dropout.

I recorded videos recently (in UHD 4K) and transferred them to my PC. When I attempt to play them back I can hear the audio but I get no video! Do I need a codec for this?

All videos at 60 fps on all youtube apps like mytube and tubecast, stutter. At 720p and 1080p plays fine but when enable the 720p60 or 1080p60 it starts to stutter.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIt isn't 100% consistent, it's about 50% consistent, but, if I plug my Atrix HD into a computer with the USB cable (which I have to do quite often since the battery isn't long-lasting), playing audio stutters about every 15 to 30 seconds. Sometimes the pause/stutter can be for 2 or 3 seconds. However, mostly it's probably only 1/2 second. Regardless, it's disconcerting to listen to music or a podcast and have it pause every few seconds.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI replaced myself the screen (preassembled screen+digitizer+frame). After the replacement everything worked perfectly for like two hours when i rebooted it, from then on it is extremely laggy and stutters from boot animation, and when I press the power button (or when the screen shuts down), the phone itself shut down. In bootloader it doesn't seem to have problems.
I checked every connection inside the device (I've disassembled ad reassembled it several times).. thinking of a software problem, I've flashed marshmallow stock rom frist, and kitkat 4.4.4 then... but it's the same with any factory image.
with a lot of patience I set up a google account and downloaded cpu-z to see if maybe temperature sensor where giving wrong information to the system, but they're fine and everything seems to work propely aside from the stutter.
Like the title says i can't take screenshots while using snapshat. Since pressing the screen jumps to the next snap i can't take screenshots using the powerbutton and the homebutton. I have read others saying that you can use your powerbutton and volumebutton but it doesn't work when i press volume+ and power button (vice versa) neither volume-.

When my Nexus 6's screen is turned off (either by timeout or by locking the phone) the audio will start to stutter and distort. Is there a fix for this? I've tried searching everywhere and I can't seem to find anything more recent than 2012.

so I've had my iphone for a year and a half and have never had a problem with it. just the other day, I tried to use the appstore and my home wifi would not allow it. so I tried going on snapchat and it works, so did youtube. however, iTunes, my mail app, appstore, and my imessage were not working. I reset my wifi thinking this would solve the problem, however it didn't. I then proceeded to reset my phone and that still has not worked. it says that I cannot connect to my appstore or iTunes. I have taken my phone to Verizon and they said that it works fine. even with my wifi off, my phone still wont connect to any of these things.
