I record my drive to and from work. About 20 minutes into the drive the camera will stop recording. I have done a hard reset; updated the software, and even tried it in safe mode. Verizon has sent me a replacement, and it is worst.
This started the first day I got the phone. I dismissed is as a weird setting, camera stops after so many minutes. But after awhile, it seems to be a problem with the phone.
I just went to Sony Ericsson to do a full reset for free, after pick from them, i come back to my house do the normal update from sony ericsson website. The problem came in is my camera recording mode is stop at 7 Second and automatic restart my phone

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my Hazel since May, and it's been nothing but great so far Until recently I noticed that the video recording function has been acting a little weird. It stops recording by itself after about 55 seconds, and it's getting really annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this? Oh, and I dropped the phone twice a few weeks back but i don't think that should impact anything. Everything else is working just fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI can only asume these 2 issues are somehow linked, when I try to watch a video on Facebook I get an error "the video cannot be played, an unknown error occured, if I open the same video in youtube, I just get a black screen, a reboot will fix it for a little while but not long, when I get the error, it will not let me record video with the camera either, just says camera is not available as soon as I hit record, mines a z2 and the problem only started since the lollipop update, if I reboot, I can watch videos and record video, after a while both errors return, its getting very annoying.

I did everything possible to help the camera, even a master reset but it didn't help me. The only thing I saw improvement with was using my girlfriend's 4gb memory card. Maybe it was because it was empty but if my 8gb memory card is empty it still stutters.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S6 edge on T-Mobile and juts noticed this morning that whenever I attempt to record a video I get a warning stating "The video codec is currently being used by other applications..."
Is it possible to determine which application has it in use? I've closed all running applications which didn't resolve the problem. Restarted the phone without starting any other applications before the camera and that failed. I'm not seeing any information about this issue in the couple of searches I've done so far but wonder if it's an isolated issue or something common.
Short of a Factory Reset, which I'm not fully opposed to doing, is there a potential solution?
If I receive a call during recording a video, the video gets lost. Can I change settings or is there any solution to save the video before accepting the call? Or is it simply a flaw in the software that the video is not saved automatically?

(It does stop when I press the mute button, but starts back where it left off when I un-mute.) I tried clearing the internet browser history to see if that would fix the problem, but it did not.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI replaced myself the screen (preassembled screen+digitizer+frame). After the replacement everything worked perfectly for like two hours when i rebooted it, from then on it is extremely laggy and stutters from boot animation, and when I press the power button (or when the screen shuts down), the phone itself shut down. In bootloader it doesn't seem to have problems.
I checked every connection inside the device (I've disassembled ad reassembled it several times).. thinking of a software problem, I've flashed marshmallow stock rom frist, and kitkat 4.4.4 then... but it's the same with any factory image.
with a lot of patience I set up a google account and downloaded cpu-z to see if maybe temperature sensor where giving wrong information to the system, but they're fine and everything seems to work propely aside from the stutter.
I use Torch 9810 to record conversation (client meeting) , once I press "record button" it works fine but recording automatically stop every 5 minutes, e.g. if meeting last 1 hour I will have to press "record" button 12 times (every 5 minutes).
Does anyone know if it is possible to disable this constraint (5 minutes) in 9810?
In the camera app the maximum resolution is Full HD with 60fps. How can I record 4K Videos?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi got my phone about 2 months ago. it worked fine for about a month, and then, just like that, it started to freeze in the middle of the recording for about 2-3 secs, then started rec ok, and agaian freezed for 2-3 secs and so on. After i downloaded the movie and played it, it played the same as the recording(with the freezed sections, but with sound). I checked the sw version(the last one), i changed the card, i formatted it. The problem(for now) is solved by taking down the recording quality, but i dont want this to be a permanent solution.
