Aug 6, 2015I have been using the samsung calendar for a while now, and HAD a default set up with my desktop Google calendar for 3 different reminders on each so I dont forget,oversleep etc. anyhow It seems that when Google calendar STOPPED sending SMS messages earlier idk this month or last month I have NOT been able to set up more than ONE reminder even from a appt set from my phone, after the first reminder is set the green plus sing is no longer there to add more. I CAN go into older appt's and edit and the multiple reminders are still there and the green plus to add more is there and selectible. I am assuming it has something to do with the google calendar so what is up?

Dec 11, 2015I have the Verizon S5 SM-G900V running 5.0, I use OK google to set up things like the days I work, Where I'm working, Who I'm working for, Dr. Appointments etc. Well when setting up these things using OK google voice command it automatically defaults to reminding only 15 minutes before the event. I need a full day notice so if someone asks me a day before hand if I'm available the next day I'll already know. Instead as it is right now if I forget I have Dr appointment it only gives 15 minutes notice and with my Dr being 45 min drive away this is just not sufficient. (MORE DETAIL) I am in fact using the google calendar on my phone and not the samsung calendar.
I have went to google calendar on my laptop clicked on the gear and went to calendar settings and changed that to default 1 day for both settings listed there and saved. I know this won't change past submissions but it didn't default to 1 day on new submissions on OK google. I even manually synced the calendar and tried again. The old phone I had (LG Exceed 2) allowed me to set a setting in the calendar settings to default events to remind 1 day in advance. But no matter where I go in the S5 (google settings,calendar settings, OK google settings) Or even web calendar settings I can't find a way to make it work?? This is a big nuisance for me to have to manually change it every time.
Galaxy S5 :: Default Reminder Notifications Not Setup On Google Calendar On Phone Active?
Jun 10, 2015I use the default Calendar app on my S5 with several Gmail accounts, all which have default reminder settings. None of those accounts will use my default for calendar reminders, even after Syncing and rebooting. I've gone into my phone settings and searched for Notification, Reminder and Calendar and none of those settings have default reminders. I can only select to enable to disable these options.

Apr 21, 2015I will know for sure if it doesn't happen any more in the next day or 2 but I think the cause is Twilight (f.lux type app).. I uninstalled this and it kept happening, but rebooted and it hasn't happened since.Got my GS6 Edge yesterday, & have spent awhile configuring it, and recently it's started having full screen black flashes every so often (when going to home screen, changing pages, etc), and more rarely the whole screen will become very noisy glitchy as shown:
e.g. when I opened the Dropbox app just now, the screen flashed black and the static appeared, and will stay until I do something to the screen - I just tapped and it went away, couple seconds later it came back. Tapped the dropbox logo and black flash, static. It's not limited to Dropbox, homescreen + any other app I try seems to be the same.(on the bright side I've just switched from iOS, I design iOS apps for a living, and other than this issue this phone is in a completely different league for me than my old 5S)
BB Bold :: Calendar Reminder Duplicates?
Feb 13, 2010Last night I upgraded my OS to the 6.0 Bundle 2921(v 6.0.0.666 platform 6.6.0.241) and all day I've had my reminders show up twice. I dismiss and it pops right back up again. It doesn't go any farther than the second time I press dismiss.

But when creating an event fron the iPhone, you only have a few choices of time for an alarm, such as "1hour before the event" or "the day before", that doesn't really suit me.

Jul 1, 2010On main page in Active Standby, it shows all To-Dos as pending including those from future as well, like it will say 10 pending tasks while actually 2 are pending while 8 are still from some future date. This was not an issue with my earlier 6120.
To-Do alarm rings only once. Any time I miss a To-Do alarm there is no way that it reminds me again that I missed it until I check my Calender. There should be something like repeatedly ringing every 5 minutes till we respond.

May 4, 2012All reminders set on my Blackberry Torch 9800 would not provide a reminder (a pop up screen) nor would it vibrate (in normal and vibrate mode) or make a sound (in normal mode) when the time of reminder was set. For example: Time now it is 4:50pm and I set a reminder for 5pm with a reminder set for 5 min. On my previous BB9700 a reminder would be generated at 4:55 pm (a sound and/or vibrate depending on the mode and profile setting). On my current BB 9800, nothing would happen.

But when I click on this entry, I get the message "Calendar: Memory full. Please close some applications and try again." This happens even when the phone is just restarted. Jul 1, 2010When my calendar reminder pops up it gives me the option to end the reminder or snooze for a preiod of 5 mins. This is far too short so I went to Calendar, Options, General Options and under Actions set the Default Reminder to 15 min and saved the change.When a reminder pops up the snooze time is still 5 minutes despite the change I made. Very annoying!What can be done to set the reminder time to anything other than 5 mins ? Have I changed the wrong field, or is this a bug?

BB Desktop Software :: Lotus Notes Calendar One-way Sync Reminder / Alarm
May 17, 2010I haven't found a proper answer to this so posting here. Hopefully I will get a quick answer from some of the experts here.
BB Desktop Manager version: 5.0.1.37
Device: Curve 8900 4.6.1
Lotus notes version: 8.0.2
I use BIS with tmobile and have my gmail emails delivered to my device.I am doing a lotus notes one-way calendar sync with my BB calendar. I am able to do this successfully. But the alarm & free/busy thing does not sync.Even though I have alarm set in my notes which works perfectly and I see the notification 15 mins before the meeting on my PC. They don't show up in BB calendar. In BB Desktop Manager-> map fields, the notes 'notify me' is mapped to 'device alarm flag' but when I open the details of an entry that BDM is going to make in the accept/reject screen these fields are empty. I am using the default field mapping in the desktop manager.
All reminder works for the entries that I create directly in BB. The device calendar reminder is set properly. No issues there.What should I change in the desktop manager so that I get a reminder in my BB for the lotus notes entry?

Jan 16, 2010when i receive messages or emails the led flashes red but only for a set amount of time! i didnt check my phone for a while because the LED wasnt flashing, which i thought meant i didnt have any messages or missed calls! i had a couple of missed calls and messages!is there any way of changing it so it flashed until the message is read?

Aug 31, 2010I had my Bold 9700 plugged into speakers and listening to Slacker like I have done in the past. Now when I try to make a call or receive a call the "Headset" icon flashes on and off as tho the headset is plugged in when nothing is plugged into the jack. This overrides speakerphone too. So basically I can receive and send a call but it cuts in and out quickly since it thinks the headset is taking over.
Not sure if this is a glitch or if something happened when listening to music. Nothing looks abnormal when I look into the headset port. I was thinking maybe I should update the software to see if its a software or bug.
