Out of nowhere, the screen will not respond. I still have a pulsating blue LED and soft keys light up.
I've tried all button combos and still no success... Its running stock and no customization at all...
Screen is black with a blue light flashing every 5 seconds? I plugged it in but no difference. Worked fine last night.

When I'm trying to power on the phone, I get the initial black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen. Then everything goes black and the blue LED on the top left lights up and stays on, does not flash or dim, just stays on. The phone does not vibrate or make any sound when it does this.
What I've tried to fix it:
1) Power + Volume down (maintenance boot mode) ... I've tried normal boot, factory reset and booting in safe mode, all just give me a black screen with the blue LED.
2) Power + Volume Up + Home (andoid system recovery screen) ... When doing this, the phone displays the black and white "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen, followed by a bluish colored screen with a little android guy on it, followed by the dead android guy with a yellow exclamation triangle over his head, then goes into the android system recovery menu. On this screen I can wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and reboot and I still get a black screen with a steady blue LED.
3) Power + Volume Down + Home followed by Volume Up (Downloading screen) ... Takes me to the bluish screen warning me about downloading a custom OS. After hitting up it does not show the knox has ever been triggered. I've tried using ODIN 3.10.6 to reinstall fresh firmware (5.1.1 G920VVRU3BOG5) and after it successfully installs it, it boots to a black screen with the steady blue LED.
This has happened to me about three times. I always manually press the power key to turn off the display and lock the phone before placing it in my pocket. Three times now, I have removed the phone from my pocket and found the soft keys lit up but the screen is black. The only key that responds is the power button... nothing else works. Every press of the power button toggles the soft key backlight, but nothing else. The only remedy I have found is to pull the battery.

I had my phone on a car charger playing Spotify and i got a text message then could not turn on my phone. Spotify played for half the song after and shut down. Black screen with flashing blue light and can not hard reset. tried all combinations with up, power, down, and home keys. The light was flashing all night and turned off this morning. did not have on a charger hoping the battery would die to turn on. Phone never reads a connection when trying to charge. don't know if i have the one black screen of death that can not turn back on. I have 2 or 3 trips of pictures that i don't know if i backed up.

When I plug my LG Accolade ( aka VX5600 ) into my desk top computer (Dell , Windows XP ) using the LG supplied USB cable, my computer displays the dreaded " Blue Screen O' Death " and says something about needing a driver or some such. It is convenient for me to plug my cell into the USB for recharging while I work at my computer ( it also seems to charge faster ). My last phone, Samsung Gleam, was a pleasure to use in this fashion but it would not SYNC with my Ford Sync system. The Accolade does that quite nicely,but kills my PC.

I have a Curve and this is the second time that I have plugged my Curve in (via USB) and used the Desktop Manager to back-up my Blackberry and it crashes my computer. I got the Blue Screen of Death both times that I tried to back up my Blackberry. I'm afraid it's going to crash my computer, or my Blackberry. I have read that by having the HP Printer driver installed it could cause it. I don't know if it's true or not.

I've searched everywhere and it seems to be common. The reboot isn't working. Volume down and home screen isn't working.
My s6 worked fine last night, had over 50% battery life, i went sleep, this morning the phone wont wake up, having a black screen and a blue led blinking(5s) .
I plugged it to the charger, no led for charging shows, putting it ontop of the wireless charger, the charger change its color to blue, but the phone still on black screen and the blue led blinking...
I tried the hard reset :
* vol down + power(to simulate the battery removal)
* vol down+ vol up + power
*vol down/up +home +power
....all possible combinations, but no hope. What can I do?
I'm on 5.1.1 and stock rom not rooted.
As the title says, my blue led notification light blinks continuously when the screen is off. No apps are up and running and there are no missesd texts/calls/etc. Couldn't find an answer through any google searches.

It was charged, but i tried to charge it again, hoping that would wake it--no luck. So, tried soft reset, hard reset, removing the SIM then soft and hard resets, but no luck. Now all I get is a blue screen after the initial AT&T logo. Very sad, I want to like ths phone, but it is hard to use when it is bricked (or I am waiting for a new one). I guess I am off to the AT&T store for a new one...
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the past two months after update to iOS 8 i started experiencing Blue Screen of death from time to time.I was ignoring this issue by simple restart, but from today it became unbearable.Blue screen of death appears without any reason and puts iPhone into constant reload which can take hours.Â
I decided to put it into Restore mode, but that blue screen appears even in the middle of the restore - not allowing me even to restore it (constant error 9). I googled the fix - but even though this issue is widespread - there are no known fixes which work to date. What shocks me the most is that Apple is silent about it.Â

Then next morning I connected the phone to my car's charger and when I turned it on, I figured that the soft keys are not working anymore.
I have tried multiple methods like clearing cache, factory reset (through Settings and Recovery), but none of that worked.
I am running the latest stock firmware (5.1.1 U2COH2).
Is there an app that allows me to reconfigure the keys? Could this be a hardware issue?
i just got the galaxy s6 edge i noticed i keep getting the flashing blue LED light when my screen is off even though i am not received any text, emails or any notification on my phone. it just keeps flashing. how do i turn this off? I have gone into settings>sounds and notifications> led indicator and turned it off but it still flashes.

I was using my phone today and the blue screen of death with white figures came up.  The phone immediately crashed and turned off. I initially thought the battery was dead in addition to whatever else was going on. I charged for 20 minutes without turning on, did a hard reboot and the apple came up, followed by now a blank blue screen of death. I tried a second reboot and now the phone will not turn on. I toggled mute button in addition to the power and home which I read is sometimes necessary. Charger is working fine since it did come on once already.Â

Problem: BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) occurs constantly.
I think the problem is the phone drivers (via cable). The program itself shouldn't be it.I made a system recovery, which worked. And my computer was restored. But when I tried once again the same problem occurred.
How can I use the phone with the computer without getting the BSOD?
My Iphone flips back and forth from the blue screen of death and the apple logo. It does not stop.
Is it repairable?

I had my phone on the fast charger and when i went to unplug it, i noticed a band of black, blue and pink had began to form in the upper left hand corner of my phone. I haven't had the samsung s6 long , so i am not sure what to do. At&t claims it is liquid damaged, but it has been in a otterbox case.

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust got a problem with my X6. When I switch it on the phone vibrates and the three lights at the bottom of the phone come on. ( the call, menu and end keys). But the screen stays black. I try pressing the power button but nothing. Take out the battery and leave it out for a while then but it back in. Press the power button, phone vibrates, the three lights come on but the screen stays black. I have not yet tried the four finger reset method although I guess I might have to.Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be.

The phone is previously thought to be liquid damaged but atleast starting up now. I've disassembled the whole phone assuming the flex ribbon needs changing but after a ribbon replacement, problem persists.Can anyone confirm to me that an LCD replacement will fix this? What other problem is this symptomatic off?
I've bought an old galaxy s6 white from someone, background light of the touch keys doesn't light up only "back and multitasking" symbols, it also lights up area around these symbols, I can see it very clearly in the dark. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had the Lumia 1020 for a couple months now and love it but every now and then, at complete random: the screen goes black. I then need to perform a soft reset in order to use the phone again.
I have not completed a factory reset yet, especially since it's still a new phone in all senses. But how I'll likely proceed with the reset and if it happens again: contact warranty to get a replacement.
This happened on both 'Black' and 'Cyan'...
