IPhone 5 :: How To Turn On And Start Up Normal After Blue Screen Of Death
Sep 8, 2014
How do I get my phone to turn on and start up normal after blue screen of death?Â
I was using my phone today and the blue screen of death with white figures came up.  The phone immediately crashed and turned off. I initially thought the battery was dead in addition to whatever else was going on. I charged for 20 minutes without turning on, did a hard reboot and the apple came up, followed by now a blank blue screen of death. I tried a second reboot and now the phone will not turn on. I toggled mute button in addition to the power and home which I read is sometimes necessary. Charger is working fine since it did come on once already.Â
For the past two months after update to iOS 8 i started experiencing Blue Screen of death from time to time.I was ignoring this issue by simple restart, but from today it became unbearable.Blue screen of death appears without any reason and puts iPhone into constant reload which can take hours.Â
I decided to put it into Restore mode, but that blue screen appears even in the middle of the restore - not allowing me even to restore it (constant error 9). I googled the fix - but even though this issue is widespread - there are no known fixes which work to date. What shocks me the most is that Apple is silent about it.Â
I tried to search this on this and other websites. When I plug my LG Accolade ( aka VX5600 ) into my desk top computer (Dell , Windows XP ) using the LG supplied USB cable, my computer displays the dreaded " Blue Screen O' Death " and says something about needing a driver or some such. It is convenient for me to plug my cell into the USB for recharging while I work at my computer ( it also seems to charge faster ). My last phone, Samsung Gleam, was a pleasure to use in this fashion but it would not SYNC with my Ford Sync system. The Accolade does that quite nicely, but kills my PC.
I have a Curve and this is the second time that I have plugged my Curve in (via USB) and used the Desktop Manager to back-up my Blackberry and it crashes my computer. I got the Blue Screen of Death both times that I tried to back up my Blackberry. I'm afraid it's going to crash my computer, or my Blackberry. I have read that by having the HP Printer driver installed it could cause it. I don't know if it's true or not.
After putting my phone in my pocket last night, i took it out to realize that it wouldn't turn on. It was charged, but i tried to charge it again, hoping that would wake it--no luck. So, tried soft reset, hard reset, removing the SIM then soft and hard resets, but no luck. Now all I get is a blue screen after the initial AT&T logo. Very sad, I want to like ths phone, but it is hard to use when it is bricked (or I am waiting for a new one). I guess I am off to the AT&T store for a new one...

Problem: BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) occurs constantly.
I think the problem is the phone drivers (via cable). The program itself shouldn't be it.I made a system recovery, which worked. And my computer was restored. But when I tried once again the same problem occurred. How can I use the phone with the computer without getting the BSOD?
I had my phone on a car charger playing Spotify and i got a text message then could not turn on my phone. Spotify played for half the song after and shut down. Black screen with flashing blue light and can not hard reset. tried all combinations with up, power, down, and home keys. The light was flashing all night and turned off this morning. did not have on a charger hoping the battery would die to turn on. Phone never reads a connection when trying to charge. don't know if i have the one black screen of death that can not turn back on. I have 2 or 3 trips of pictures that i don't know if i backed up.
Getting quite frustrated with this phone now. I've had my BlackBerry Curve over a year now, and I'm on a 2 year contract with Orange. But I've had this problem. My phone will be fine when it's plugged into my computer or my charger, but when I take it out and start to use it, sometimes within 5 minutes, sometimes within hours, it can come up with this whiteness filling the screen. This leaves me with no choice but to take the battery out.
Then after that it refuses to turn on until I plug it in again. This is annoying me to the extreme because I can spend hours waiting for it to charge, then when it's fully charged I'll take it out, go out, put music on or something and it'll go off yet again. Sometimes it can just cut off without the white screen. Even then it won't turn back on without a power source. I've tried updating the software and that won't work.
My 5530 Xpress Music does not start anymore, It just hangs when i start it .Just shows as White screen with Blue Nokia Logo on it. and does not go on and continue booting.Tried removing the battery, sim, etc
My sony Xperia z3 has the notification light flashing blue, but the screen wont turn on. Ive tried plugging the charger in, using the wireless charger, I even had ny husband call my phone and the screen never lit up and the phone never rang. Ive held down the power button, ive held the power and vol up button and still nothing.
Sony xperia s not turning on, only green notification light blinking? - The phone was on the charge throughout the night, in the morning phone`s ot switching ON, despite of pressing the power button for some time.
I bought my white iphone 5s like 2 months ago! The problem is that 2 weeks ago from nowhere i got the white screen of death for 5 seconds and then it returned to usual home screen, i thought it was normal but it happened again like 1 hour ago! I did some research and found it was an ios 7 bug that Apple supposedly fixed with ios 7.1.1 update!
while my iphone in charging, suddenly turn off and start to turn on and turn off Automatically. After that i restore to ios 5.0.1 i see no wi-fi no besband and just work 5 minuts and will turn off.please help me.my iphone 3 Gs locked
I dropped my iPhone 3g this morning and the screen is white now. I can't restart it or charge it or anything. I can do my passcode though and I can hear it unlock or vibrate if I enter it wrong, but I can't see anything on the screen besides white and the occasional black or blue lines.
My phone said to download update so I did which then lead to the itune connect screen. I connected my phone to the PC and opened itunes which gave me the message that it did not recognize my phone and would have to restore factory setting. I tried to reboot my phone by holding down both buttons (no red slider ever appears) until it turned off. Once I turned it back on it went right back to that screen. I tried to restore factory setting and it gave me an error.
Okay i've had my Nokia n97 for more than 6months now and its been working great except lately my facebook app wasn't working and i had to update it,so last night i backed up my files on my mobile and i connected it to the pc and updated it with the program that the mobile brings with a cd it was okay then i went back to restore my files and it said it had to restart so it turned off and i went to turn it on again and it stayed a blank screen with the nokia sign in the middle in blue (when you turn it on it that usually shows) but it stayed stuck there it doesn't go to pin code nor anything, and to turn it off i have to take the battery off,
I was just testing to see how the 5mb camera did in low light and very low light and every one of them turn out blue.Is there some camera settings for fixing this?I saw some sample photos that looked pretty damn good and NOTHING like mine.
I just tried to register my new BB and got this error. Ive tried the usual, take out battery but still getting error. Someone said to re-install the software (5.0) but the Desktop Manager isnt responding either.
i have a blackberry Curve 8530, ive had for about 8 months, and out of nowhere tooday i got the white screen of death. I've tried everything, from putting pressure on the corners of the screen, but i gave up. I just went to BB protect and backed up everything!
I have had my Sensation for about 6 months now. I am having significant problems with it. It is very slow and it continually resets to the white HTC screen screen and proceeds to reload. This happens when simply trying to touch the "home" key or the back key.
I cannot resolve the problem. I have removed all apps.
I discovered that my blackberry got a white screen, I researched it and thought it was the white screen of death, but the everyone is saying that it occurs when the battery is dieing. My LED light is still flashing and it goes off whenever I get a text or email, it's just a plain white screen. Have I damaged the screen or is it the software?
Clue anybody to probable cuase of white screen of death on a 5800 xm . Where phone just sticks on the white screen or sometimes the actual boot screen . Its not a reboot that happens phone just freezes battery out solves the problem . Have an idea that it could be tied to the Auto Keyguard switch but that may be a red herring.
I went to turn my nokia x6 on this morning and it vibrated but the screen stayed black and no buttons lit up. I tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, i tried connecting it to a usb but nothing. All i can do is turn it on and off.
Just got a problem with my X6. When I switch it on the phone vibrates and the three lights at the bottom of the phone come on. ( the call, menu and end keys). But the screen stays black. I try pressing the power button but nothing. Take out the battery and leave it out for a while then but it back in. Press the power button, phone vibrates, the three lights come on but the screen stays black. I have not yet tried the four finger reset method although I guess I might have to.Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be.
I just got white screen of death on my daughters 9870 bold she has only had it since Christmas, What is the recourse via either blackberry or my mobile operator for sorting this faulty phone out.
So I have a Blackberry Curve 8520, Recently it has been fading into a white screen whether im listening to music, searching images, browsing the web, in a phone call etc. then it will not fully load up after I take the battery out and put it back in so I attach a charger which gets it to work every time.I went into the Orange shop and asked what this may be, they said to do updates on the phone, which there are no updates to do.
Right, I've had my blackberry for a few months now, it was bought from someone else. Only recently, my phone has been turning itself off and giving me the "white screen of death" but I've always managed to get passed it by removing the battery then restarting it. But today, it has turned itself off, reloaded to the main screen where it then freezes, the screen goes white and it says "app error 523 - reset". Ive clicked reset about a billion times and it keeps doing the same thing over and over again. I downloaded blackberry desktop/device software but it won't find my device. I tried that app wizard loader thing, but that didn't work either. And yes, my phone is charged.
