How do I save a message in email app? I can delete them, but save option is not obvious. I know it can be done because I did so once w/o meaning to. Also, can I create new folders?

BOLD 9700, T-Mobile. I have current OS. I am receiving the above message when I try to reply to an email. Yesterday---I didn't have this problem. I go to email set up & my email addresses are there. When I am in message options, and choose Email Settings--- there isn't ANYTHING there.

It is a pain to try and keep track of sent / received emails and then print to pdf from a computer later on. However, as soon as I pull email from the pop account on my home computer, I lose all of the messages on my phone. Isn't there a way to download messages onto my phone and keep them? I don't see an option to flag or save individual messages, or to move them to a folder.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded my wife's phone to the S6 from Verizon Wireless. She had an S4 previously. Problem is with the stock android email app on this phone: On the S4 when she would save an email it would save it to the "Saved email" folder. She could then open the saved emails in that folder and it would have any attachment saved with the email. She could then open the attachment if she wished.
The S6 email app allows her to save an email, but the options menu says it will save the email as a FILE. When accessing these saved emails she discovered only the text of the email was saved. The attachments are not saved with the emails.
This is a completely ridiculous and stupid change by Samsung or Google, whichever is the one who is responsible for that app. I am surprised other users have not complained about this, I did not see anything about this on the 'net when searching.
My wife uses this phone for business and needs to access the attachments in the emails her clients send her. I understand she can save the attachments to the phone, but they go into a location in the "My Files" on the phone. It is a lot easier to access an email from a client, be able to read what they sent, and then open the attachment from within that email. If she has to save the emails and attachments separately there is nothing to link the two together and she would have to do what I think is many unnecessary steps to access both things.
Is there an save as function anywhere to save a ring tone from an email and save it to the correct folder.

Read a fix to turn off predictive text so I have to do that now just to use the email app.Now, I can't even type in the body of an email. If I create a new email, it prompts for the recipient, which I enter fine. Then it lets me select the subject field but it will not go into the body of the email when I touch it to begin typing my email. I've tried changing keyboards, minimizing the keyboard - nothing. View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I get a new text or email if I unlock my phone and touch the email or message app and read or delete it, it still shows the notification in the upper left. If I then lock my phone and unlock it again it still shows the notification on the lock screen. I have gone and cleared the cache and data from the message app and restarted. The only way it goes away is if I swipe it away on the lock screen or select it from the lock screen and view/delete after it opens.

I have them configured and working, but they are all under the standard mail app (white envelop with blue @). When I get a new message, this icon will show how many unread messages there are. But, it shows for all of my accounts. I'm trying to have separate apps/icons for each email address that'll show some type of "unread messages" notification on the icon itself. Came from a blackberry and i had 4 individual accounts setup, each would have a red star if there was an unread msg in that account. I tried the hotmail and the gmail apps but they don't seem to show anything like this either.

Nokia has made my life miserable within one month. (This was my first Nokia phone ever.) I find no consistency anywhere.
