i just got the Galaxy S6. The dry up is a bit different than my previous S3. I am trying to figure out how, in the native email app, to move to the next email after deleting one. as far as i can tell, there is no way to do this, which is really crappy and inconvenient.

Cannot move to another folder (i.e. In Box), Reply, or Forward as I could with my S6. Only menu options under More are Edit (then Add Star or Mark As Read), Sort By, Delete All, Settings (View as, Autofit, Notifications, Spam, Confirm deletions). Verizon store personnel couldn't find how to do it either. I use Earthlink email, but this was never a problem with previous phones. So frustrating!!! I can Bcc myself on ones I send to be sure I have a copy in case of Sent deletion, but no way to retrieve messages received and deleted.

Got the S6, Lollipop 5.1.1, recently and that feature is now missing. Email cannot be deleted off of my work email server so when I added my work email to my phone all 6,000+ emails eventually came in. The only way I've figured to delete them is one at a time. Did I mention I had to return my first S6 for a defective battery and got a replacement? Yes, I've deleted 12,000+ emails individually in the past week.

I just switched from an iphone. On my iphone, when viewing an email from my MS Exchange / Outlook or Hotmail account and I deleted that email, it would open another email. On my new S5, it goes back to the inbox. I would like it to work like it did on my old phone.I took this to the Verizon store and they didn't know how to fix it either.

Thus, if one accidentally triggers two reload/refreshes in sequence (or has automatic mail downloads enabled) this causes the unread mails from (an) earlier refresh(es) to be silently deleted and to "disappear", before one has a chance to read them! Just upgraded to two Galaxy S6 on Sprint for some reason my wife device and mine when we get text message they got to are default message app as well as one of our Email accounts. Is there a way to get them to Stop going to to Email and just go to the default text app that comes with the S6. Never had this issue before don't know if there a setting or what.

Read a fix to turn off predictive text so I have to do that now just to use the email app.Now, I can't even type in the body of an email. If I create a new email, it prompts for the recipient, which I enter fine. Then it lets me select the subject field but it will not go into the body of the email when I touch it to begin typing my email. I've tried changing keyboards, minimizing the keyboard - nothing.
