View 4 Replies View RelatedHaving great difficulty in transferring data/photos from my Galaxy S II to my laptop. When my S II is plugged in to my laptop, within my laptop, it does not recognise the storage device within the S II, but only acknowledges it as "other devices". So therefore I can not enter into the SII device to transfer etc.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI changed my phone to a camera device on the phone itself so I could choose to import my pictures to my laptop. God forbid its that easy. I opened the folder full of my imported pictures and the folder is just full of random stock photos. None of which were actually on my device. It did manage to copy a few pictures that were actually on my device but even then, it made hundreds of random copies of the same 10 photos. Doing this on my old iphone would've taken 30 seconds. As soon as I my upgrade comes back around i'm most definitely going back to apple. I've had nothing but problems with this phone. I wouldn't even have had to upload these pictures to my laptop if I wasnt going on my 3RD device in the same year.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow do I connect an S2 to a laptop without a SIM?
No SIM yet I can already transfer photos , phone book data etc with Kies on home wifi, but that's different. I'm going abroad so want to be able to communicate between the two without a sim.
I tried to make the phone a hotspot but it won't because there's no sim.
i just got the Galaxy S6. The dry up is a bit different than my previous S3. I am trying to figure out how, in the native email app, to move to the next email after deleting one. as far as i can tell, there is no way to do this, which is really crappy and inconvenient.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to move installed apps to the internal 12gb of storage? If I go to manage the app and click "move to sd card" I get an error saying there isn't enough space. I don't have an external sd card in the phone, so this may be why. The problem is I don't want the apps going to an external card, I want to use up the internal storage.
On my nexus s, the button said "move to usb" instead of "move to sd"...
don't say things like, 'why do you need more than 2gb for apps' or 'buy an sd card'.
Within the Applications screens the app installed show on the sequence that they are instaled.Is there a way to organize them by moving between pages?

I have just bought a new Samsung Galaxy S2. I am unable to use the phones 3G services in my flat as there is no service or a very poor mobile phone service. I thought I could connect the phone to my laptop which is wired into broadband and use that. Any ideas on how to that ? The laptop is connected to a wired broadband service, there is no router.

But I have the Galaxy SII Skyrocket (AT&T) 2.3.5 and it scans but wont even pick up the signal. I notice a new type of storage is introduced called USB Storage. I expect this is the equivalent of the internal SD card of the old SGS. Now when I click on the "Move to SD" button on any of the apps, I get the message "Failed to move application: Not enough memory"
My USB storage currently has 11.42GB. So can onyone shed light as to where I am going wrong here?

When i got my Galaxy S2, i had no problems adding photos to people in my contact list, but just recently, every time i search for that contact to add a new photo or update it, regardless of whether the contact already has a photo or not, it comes up with "Contact not found"??
These are the steps i am using (in case there is another way):
* Open photo from Gallery
* Touch Phone Menu (Comes up with Share Via, Set as and More along bottom)
* "Set as"
* Choose Contact photo
* Type name into "Find contacts"
* Immediately comes up with "Not found"
