I downloaded the Lollipop 5.0 update but have not installed it yet.
1.) how do I delete the file?
2.) how do I stop my phone from continuing to want to download and/or update???
Cannot find a my files folder or app. Have looked in settings. Downloaded a file and don't know where it went on my new S6.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe is another "feature" of the SG-II's built-in email app that infuriates me regularly:Each time when the mail app reloads emails from the server, it deletes all previous mails from the inbox (be they read or unread). Thus, if one accidentally triggers two reload/refreshes in sequence (or has automatic mail downloads enabled) this causes the unread mails from (an) earlier refresh(es) to be silently deleted and to "disappear", before one has a chance to read them! This happened already a couple of times to me and this is really insane

I deleted the app, rebooted my phone, and nothing, it won go away no matter what I try! I have a galaxy s5 rooted so how to force a file to be deleted no matter what the system says about it? I tried another File Manager from Cheetah, it can't do it either. I can create and delete folders on the phone storage. I can create folders on the SD card, but can't delete them.
For now, I have to connect a USB cable, and delete from my PC, which works fine.
I just received a notification to update my rooted Nexus 5 to Lollipop. It downloaded the 440 megabytes and prompted for a reboot.
But it didn't rebooted. Instead, I got a menu from Team Project with some options. I just hit the "reboot" button and it rebooted to Android 4.4.4. Look like I have lost the lollipop update??! When I go back to check for an update, it says my device is up to date.
Why the Team Project menu showed??! What should I have done? Why the update is lost?
Updated my 5 to lollipop and haven't been able to send downloaded pics through messenger or hangouts. I can send pictures that I have taken with my camera but if I download one from a website and then send it, the person receiving it just gets an error message. I don't backup the download folder in the cloud and I have tried everyway possible that I know of to attach the photo in the message.

So I decided to download it to my local computer, and install it via web server I've created locally.Then it downloaded the file, but after downloading it, it installed nothing. I can't delete a new contact on the Nexus 5. Quick synopsis of what's going on: Go to > contacts > name of contact. Contact has Star, + contact Icon, and 3 vertical dots on the far right with "Share & Place on Home Screen" why an already created contact with name has a "+ contact" icon.
