Dec 1, 2011When I download photographs to my PC from the Droid Razr and attempt to open them I receive an "invalid image" notice. I have tried Picasa, Windows Media Manager and Adobe Acrobat, all unsuccessfully. The three programs open other .jpg photos successfully. I can successfully email the pictures from the Razr and then open but cannot open after a USB cable download. A downloaded photo file which I cannot open is attached.

Mar 23, 2015When I download my photos to my computer, a few of the photos are accompanied by duplicates, each about 50KB or so. Their names do not begin with IMG, like the other photos, but are just a long string of digits. It happens with both still photos and videos, but not all of them, just about one in ten. I didn't do anything different with those photos, and can see no reason for a duplicate to be made.
Very strangely, the duplicates have different dates from the originals. For example the original was taken on 15th march, but the duplicate is dated 18th march.
This only started happening recently. Probably when I upgraded to Lollipop. What might this be?
