I have tried Picasa, Windows Media Manager and Adobe Acrobat, all unsuccessfully. The three programs open other .jpg photos successfully. I can successfully email the pictures from the Razr and then open but cannot open after a USB cable download. A downloaded photo file which I cannot open is attached.

Mar 23, 2015When I download my photos to my computer, a few of the photos are accompanied by duplicates, each about 50KB or so. Their names do not begin with IMG, like the other photos, but are just a long string of digits. It happens with both still photos and videos, but not all of them, just about one in ten. I didn't do anything different with those photos, and can see no reason for a duplicate to be made.
Very strangely, the duplicates have different dates from the originals. For example the original was taken on 15th march, but the duplicate is dated 18th march.
This only started happening recently. Probably when I upgraded to Lollipop. What might this be?

Jun 18, 2012One time I edited photos from my Camera Roll taken from our trip. About 6 of em i think. Then it crashed, gave me a black screen so i had to restart my phone. The next morning when i check my PHOTOS, the 6 photos were gone!! Now, while I was on Skype video chat, I took maybe 10 screenshots and of course you're able to hear the shutter every time. But when I check my PHOTOS, they are not there! I feel really bad because the photos i took were very important to me. I am so worried that this will happen again if i go on trip or capture a precious moment and find out that i got nothing.

Jun 23, 2010I've searched everywhere and can't find an answer to this; it's a slightly different problem than just waiting for it to finish and erasing it. I stated the TomTom download on my phone, it timed out, so I started and finished the download on the computer. Synced it to my phone. Now, since I opened App Store on my phone again, it started the download on my phone again and erased the completed copy that was on there. I've tried syncing with iTunes again to try and get the complete copy back on, but it won't do anything because the incomplete version is on the phone. I can see the incomplete download in itunes and I'm letting it complete on the computer, but it's going to take 17+ HOURS to finish (what the heck is wrong with Apple's servers? I know it's over a gig, but you'd think Apple of all places would have downloads running at more than 17kb/s on my 10mbps line). I've tried rebooting the device, no luck.
