Feb 27, 2015I use smart news as a news reader. Somehow two categories got in the list. The plus key does not remove them. how to get rid of those two categories.

IPhone :: Categories App...possible Problems?
Apr 1, 2010I've read people having massive problems when they had to restore and used Categories to put apps in folders. Are these problems just for earlier versions? Is there something I need to look out for when using this app? I mainly want to make sure that if I have to ever restore, I'm not going to have to start all over. I also use pkgbackup, and want to make sure that plays nice with Categories.

Nov 26, 2014Just got a M8 phone - Ripped a few movies and put them in the gallery folder as couldn't find a video/movie folder. Trouble is they show as icons with no title to identify which movie is which. I created a movie folder put the movies still showed in gallery folder. Would like to see them as a list of titles.
How do I separate different categories of photos & videos? Local phone store suggested I download VLC media player which I did. Not sure what to do next.
Other confusing thing is the 128GB sandisk SD card has folders

IPhone :: Cannot Connect To App Store Categories Or Top 25
Mar 25, 2012My iphone 4s just started acting a little strange a couple days ago. I can connect to itunes and I can see "featured" I can Search, i can get updates, but when i click on the "categories" or "top 25" tab it gives me the "cannot connect to itunes store" error.
I've tried signing out of itunes on my phone, signing in again, reset all settings, reset network settings, restored from a backup, but nothing fixes this.
I guess if I "set up as new phone" it might fix this but I hate to have to go through this process as I have my phone set up the way i want it and that involves resyncing all apps, setting up new folders, signing into my accounts, all to fix something relatively small.

1. I have setup a filter to only synchronize contacts where the category equals Personal or Business.
2. The rules is set to "one of more conditions must be met"
3. In Outlook I have some contacts that are assigned to multiple categories, for example Personal and Family
4. These contacts are not being sync'd to my device

Aug 18, 2012I have a Xoom WiFi, updated to Jellybean. I use the built-in calendar app from Google. I have my Exchange account added, and email comes through fine. In the calendar, only SOME of my appointments show up. I figured out that it is certain categories that don't make it through... Personal, Networking, etc don't work but Business, Vacation, Firm Event, etc do. It's quite strange.

May 15, 2010So while using categories I noticed when you put in certain folder names the icons will sometimes automatically change to correspond to the theme you are using.I have only done this with 2 names: "Games" and "Apps"
I tried searching google for a specific list of names I could make them that would go with my theme but then realized its theme specific. Any ideas or can any1 teach me how to check? Im using glassklart and there are thousands of app icons so I imagine there are some other folder names that will do what I want that I simply just cant think of.

Just the standard Gallery App that came default. If I wanted to go through my pictures and delete certain ones, then how? I can hold down on some pics and tag/select. May 4, 2015I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 on Verizon. Stock Email program with corporate Exchange email account. 2 emails that I delete on the phone just won't go away. No matter how many times I delete them, or which method I use, I even tried moving them to the Trash folder, they pop back up in my inbox. Confirmed they are completely deleted on the Exchange server. I have cleared the cache and cleared the data on the multiple Email programs in the application manager multiple times, they still come back, just these two specific emails. I also booted into the menu and wiped the whole cache partition, no luck.

Jul 8, 2014I'm having a problem deleting all my trashed emails. Since I've gotten the S5 I've been getting rid of emails quickly. They also reside on my PC's Outlook so I decided not to have 875 emails cluttering up the S5. I use the combined view for my 2 non-Gmail accounts. All was working well until recently when there appeared to be 52 emails that remain even after I select all. 42 are from one account and the other 10 from the other account. I've tried deleting the trash from each account separately but the 52 keep reappearing when I "Show all folders" in the combined view (and the 42 from one and 10 from the other when I look at each account).
How can I delete this peskly "deck-of-cards" (52) emails? I guess the most drastic would be to delete the two accounts and start all over, but I'm curious to know how it might have happened in the first place.
Here's a picture of the situation. The only difference in the 3rd image is that after I delete, what shows as remaining in the trash is 52.
Galaxy S5 :: Apps Installing Automatically Repeatedly After Deleting Them?
May 22, 2015Daily Racing, Clean Doctor, Clean Master, TouchPal all have ended up on my Galaxy S5 without me installing them. Each will reinstall themselves a few minutes after I uninstall them. AVG finds the first 3 apps to be 'unwanted programs' Lookout finds no faults with any of them. What app is controlling them? and how do I delete them for good? Noticed them a few weeks ago and uninstalled them, a few days later they were back. Now it does it in minutes, phone is becoming unusable because AVG keeps popping up to tell me there back. Its like the Poltergeist movie 'their here!'
