I cannot imagine that my BB 8800 with the BB desktop 5.0.1. and the device frim ware 4.5.0.174 isn't able to sync the MS outlook 2007 categories with the BB canlendar. Where is the trick? I'm sure that there is a RIM solution.
Have recently set up BBDM to synch Outlook with my BB. Everything works fine except calendar which of course is the one bit I really want. All the settings seem fine and I get no error message.
my bb was working ok and was syncing ok with my Outlook calender. The bb calender was synced to one of my five email accounts (mail@tw). I started to get issues with it so I followed advice and deleted the other calender cical things except for facebook. Since then the bb has added a default calender to mirror the mail@tw calender....so I have duplicate entries for everything and I don't know what to do.....
On my BB sync software 6.0, under organizer it says "calender not installed" I am trying to sync my BB Torch with Outlook 2007 calender ? Gone into Advance settings & checked calender both ways but coming out it still says not installed?
The recent desktop software update has solved some of the calendar synchronization issues but this morning I got a new error message : Intellisynch error code 0x80040fb3. What this is all about?
I have just switched from a Windows Mobile phone to a BB 9000. I live in Cyprus and have subscribed to the local BIS service offered here. So I sync with my PC via USB cable. Everything seems to be working fine, apart from the calendar. It appears to sync, asks me to accept changes, which I do, but the new entries do not appear in my Outlook calendar. Am I missing something simple?
I used to have a nice sync to my outlook calendar with old OS 5. Not sure if problem related to 6.0 or not but now can't sync my calendar at all. Getting Intellisync Error Code 0x83860028.I redone the settings several times, won't sync either way BB to PC and PC to BB?
I just recently changed my phone from Bold 9000 to Bold 9700. Using Desktop Manager 5.0.1.37 and on Vista sp2 and Outlook 2007. I used to be able to sync perfectly ok with my Bold 9000, and since I changed my phone to Bold 9700, it wont sync my calendar - as if it skips the calendar completely. I've tried a number of suggestions from this forum including deleting the intellisync folder and resetting the sync setup, hard resetting the phone, and nothing works. I'm running out of ideas.
Is there an easy way to sync Outlook contacts and calendar without Exchange? This is the only problem I have encountered with my new Bionic. The calendar synced, but I have lost my categories, etc. The contacts synched, but I seem to have three of everything (???). Is there a way to delete all the contacts on the phone and start over? I find it hard to believe someone has not come up with an App to make a direct USB sync with the PC, given the Extensive use of Outlook...
Kies 3 always crashes with an "Unknown Error" when trying to sync my Outlook 2007 calendar. Contacts and Tasks sync okay.
I've literally spent hours on the phone with Samsung (lack of) technical support with no resolution. They are in fact blaming Outlook claiming that this "Unknown Error" is an Outlook error and not a Kies 3 error (I doubt that). Their other suggestion is a factory reset on the phone which I don't want to do or to try another PC.
Using Windows 7 Pro, latest updates to Kies 3 and latest firmware updated today on the phone.
Everytime I connect my phone (Razr) to my computer and MotoCast (1.1.70) loads up, I find that the next time I open up Microsoft Outlook (2010) I find that all my categories are deleted!I haven't done a sync yet (i've only just gotten the phone)It's now happened to me 3 times (each time after motocast has loaded up).
I've recently noticed a problem with the Desktop Manager when trying to sync Outlook contacts that are assigned to multiple categories.
1. I have setup a filter to only synchronize contacts where the category equals Personal or Business. 2. The rules is set to "one of more conditions must be met" 3. In Outlook I have some contacts that are assigned to multiple categories, for example Personal and Family 4. These contacts are not being sync'd to my device
Just got a 9700 to help re work but when syncing with Outlook 2002 the tasks do not appear under any categories. Is there a way of doing this, or is there an App that lets me?
I've been a BB user for nearly 10 years and would appreciate knowing if/when BB's will syncronize the categories & field names available in MicroSoft Outlook.
I have a Xoom WiFi, updated to Jellybean. I use the built-in calendar app from Google. I have my Exchange account added, and email comes through fine. In the calendar, only SOME of my appointments show up. I figured out that it is certain categories that don't make it through... Personal, Networking, etc don't work but Business, Vacation, Firm Event, etc do. It's quite strange.
I bought a real 8800 original a while back and decided to upgrade. I got online the 8800 carbon arte, but when I got it in I realized it is a fake (a nice fake, but a fake). Now I'm not sure if I should keep it and sell my old 8800, or send back the 8800 carbon fake? I cant afford a new carbon as they are well over 1grand. features on the fake seem to be all except no pc suite option (USB gives me com port, mass storage, webcam) and no touch option. Im also assuming that the screen isnt durable.Other than that, the firmware seems to be the same (from what I gathered online)What would you do? Keep the original 8800, or use the newer 8800 carbon fake?
I have just upgraded from a Curve 8310 to a Curve 9300. The former was set up to sync with Outlook 2007 with no problems using an older version of the Desktop software. I have now installed the Version 6 software. The 9300 has "Outlook" as an option but refuses to accept the settings and will not Sync. Strangely, I can set it to Sync with Yahoo but Yahoo no longer seems to support Blackberry and my Calendar won't now appear at all in Yahoo after attempting to Sync.
I had been able to send/receive email on both my iphone and Outlook accounts until 3 days ago. On Friday, I connected my iphone 4s directly to my computer, synced it and installed an update to my Iphone. (I believe it was 5.1?) After that, I have had problems with my email going to my outlook account. Now I have spokent with my ISP and Microsoft and the problem is still not fixed. I currenly can send/receive email from my iphone but if I set up my email on outlook I can only send emails but not receive them. In addition I cannot receive email on my iphone4s but I can send them. I have followed every written instruction from both Charter and Microsoft that I have been given without a solution to the problem. currently I have email working on my iphone since I removed my email setting from outlook.
My iphone 4S will not sync with Outlook 2007. have never had this problem before until I upgraded to itunes 10.6 and ios 5.2 (newest one) and now won't sync- and not only will it not sync- the iphone dropped all my contacts and calendar from outlook so now I have nothing on my phone- fortunately I still have everything on Outlook on my computer- but not helping me as i need on my phone
I tried to synchronize my BB Torch with Microsoft Outlook but I kept getting error message: Option Value is unacceptable. Please Check option properties.
The issue I'm having is the syncing between my outlook mailbox and my Bold 9700, when I delete a mail from the outlook mailbox it doesn't replicate on the Blackberry.
I cant synchronize my outlook contacts with BB I have bold 9700. v 5.0.0.593 platform v5.1... i have outlook 2007... desktop manager v.5... i tried all your mentioned procedure in forums but couldnt get it... in synchronization option get only two tabs >> synchronization and reset synch.
I am having issues syncing to Outlook. I am running the 5.0.0.713 version (Bundle 1206 Platform 4.2.0.323). I dont' know if it has any bearing but Verizon is my carrier.
The basic problem is that when I want to sync my information from Outlook to my device the sync wants to put back into Outlook all the information I have removed from Outlook. The option to have Outlook win in any conflict does not seem to have any effect in filtering out these entries. This also occurs with Calendar, Memo, and Tasks.
On my Palm I had the option to OVERWRITE the device with the information from Outlook. Is there such a feature? It seems a waste of my time to delete all the information each time I want to sync the device.
I have bought BB Torch 9810 recently. And dowloaded latest version of BB Desktop software. I tried to synchronize the BB contact with Outlook 2007. However, it is taking 5 hours or more to do the same. And even after giving so much of time, it gives errors and only partial contacts are transferred to Outlook. (Previously I was using BB Torch and the sync was just taking 2-3 minutes).
