Galaxy S5 :: Cannot Delete Documents From My Files
Jan 3, 2016
I'm trying to free up some room. I went to My Files, then My Documents and found a lot of old docs that I downloaded for one-time purposes only, and so I went to delete them, only to get a Failed to Delete notification. These are Word docs and Adobe files I downloaded myself, nothing important. How come I can't delete them??
When I select any of these 1.vcf through 999.vcf they all go to the same blackberry message contact. How do I delete them? Where did they come from and can I delete them? I have to scroll down past all of them in order to see my regular files.I can't mass select them and I sure hate selecting them one at a time to delete them.
I am using BlackBerry Bold 9780 and have Documents to Go, Sheets to Go and Slides to Go for viewing Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents respectively. I saw in newly launched BlackBerry Curve 9220 there is an inbuilt app named "Documents to Go". By which anyone can view Words, Excel and Powerpoint documents and also PDF files for free. But I cannot able to view PDFs in my Bold 9780 which is more heavy and costly smartphone than Curve 9220. Hence I want to know from where can I get a compact "Documents to Go" app for free and which is also a PDF reader.
Is there a way to look for a specific file or folder on the X2? The search button brings up Google search. I don't want to search online, just on my phone.
I have several sound files that are on my smartphone, that I never use. I tested them about a year ago and just noticed that they're still there. I don't see a way to delete it from the menu. How to delete sound files?
my phone gets the spinning clock all the time....so i am trying to prevent it from as many apps from running at the same time...so apps you just can't stop.....but i noticed that "Documents To Go Files" automatically starts when i reboot my phone....i went to their site...but could not find the answer....anyway to prevent it from starting in the beg, instead of having to turn it off everytime?
My new Torch 9850 and the Blackberry Desktop software are working fine. The 9850 has Documents To Go installed. I need the companion software to sync the Word and Excel files on my PC with the DTG on the 9850, since the BB Desktop doesn't seem to include those files. From where do I download the Documents To Go Desktop application for PC that is compatible with the RIM 9850? The manufacturer of DTG says to go to RIM for support.
I went previously to settings, application mgr, Galaxy apps, cleared cach/data, forced stop. I went back to galaxy and tried to delete pictures and it still won't let me delete and "unsupported file" continues to come up. What can I do to get these pics of my phone?
A large email with several documents is stuck in my outbox, it tries to send each time I open mail but it's been in there for over a week and is clearly to big to make it through. I want to delete it from my outbox, how can I do this?
I just got a Samsung Galaxy S5 and am already almost out of storage space. I transferred some files from my old phone (photos, contacts, etc.) and have only downloaded two apps. Under Storage, it says that Miscellaneous Files take up 13.10GB of space - and that Mobile Content Transfer is the biggest culprit of this. If I delete this file, would I lose everything that transferred? I've added an SD card but can only put a few apps onto it and not much else.
My Galaxy S5 (T-Mobile) has "invisible/mystery" files that are using up almost 2 GB of my phone's storage capacity. According to the "details" from the 1 main folder - it has 2 GB of memory used within it. BUT, according to the "details" for the 2 inside folders - the ones contained WITHIN the main folder - the memory used ACTUALLY adds up to LESS THAN 1 MB, between the 2 of them! And, the "details" for EACH of the 2 inside folders, separately, also CONFIRMS the 1 MB TOTAL. How do I delete these "invisible" files? They're not only wasting a huge chunk of my phone's storage capacity, but they're also causing my phone to run slower and not operate properly - since it's nearing its internal storage capacity limit.
I want to copy files on my micro sd card and delete other files. I read a lot about the problems with the micro sd card after kitkat. I tried several things. But I could not find a solution. On windows I can copy files on the micro sd card and delete - but as soon as I insert the card in the phone, everything is in the old condition. Any way, how I can easy change files on my micro sd with Lollipop 5.1.
Earlier today I decided to have a new wallpaper onto my phone, unfortunately I didn't like how it looked so I decided to delete them. The problem began when I tried to delete them and I found out that the delete option is unavailable due to syncing them onto my phone and what's worse is that the original files are gone. Is there anyway I can get rid of these files?
I added the app Documents Free on my iPhone 4S and want to transfer files from laptop to/from iPhone but I cannot locate them on the phone (or computer).
So I emailed myself a pdf file to save and instead of having to refer to the email when i need it, i downloaded it, but don't seem to have a download icon available to get to that folder. Is there such a thing as a Documents or Download folder that I can create a shortcut to on my GS5 home screen?
Suddenly, the printer has stopped printing emails and Word documents. The printer is attached to a laptop. I've removed the the printer driver, and reinstalled it. Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 Lollipop 5.0.Also, when I click on print, the Print Preview shows the document, email. Pressing on the print key, the printer prints a blank page.
I wonder if anyone here knows how to load standard subtitles files (.srt) while playing video files (like .avi) on my SGS2. There's an idle "Subtitles" button on the bottom right of the player's menu, which I hadn't been able to use. Should I try a different one from the Android market?
I bought an Xperia X8, since 2 week, more or less.

I think it's still downloaded on my phone as I am still signed in to messenger, I just can't locate the file. Can anyone help me with this?
