May 18, 2011When I got my E5 I could start typing a name of a contact and the search worked nicely. But now nothing happens as I type - it just shows the text/numbers that I have entered. I'd like to get this back as it's a really nice feature. Is there something I should be turning on/off to get this to work?

Nov 12, 2010I've got a problem with my E5-00 (updated to latest version, least nothing showing as available for upgrade).From power on its reporting only ~4MB internal memory free with no additional applications running, additional installed application are on an 8GB SD card.sing the file manager on the device I can't see any files on the internal memory card taking too much room and without addtional applications running rather hard to find something to remove to free more memory.

Dec 1, 2010I bought my Nokia E5 about 2 days ago.It worked fine untill yesterday when a message started appearing sayng that the phone memory(c)is full and that I should move or delete some files from the phone memory.The thing is that when I go to file manager all the files are empty.File manager shows 25 Mb free and the rest is in use mainly by "other folder"wich is empty.I only use my memory card for everything except for the contacts wich I keep on the phone memory(63 kb).I removed all apps that could be removed,I deleted all emails,all texts,all notes,calendar entrie,cleared up the cache,cleared up my browsing history,I tried it without the memory card,I tried with another memory card,I gave it 2 factory reset,removed the battery.I tried everything I could think of

Apr 9, 2012I have the BlackBerry Style, and am with Telus. I haven't upgraded to the newest OS but I have the one right before the current one. I have lots of free space on my phone and have no other apps than the ones that were installed on default.I have had absolutely no problems with my phone at all since day one, on Febuary 2011, until this evening when I came home from easter dinner and opened my phone (it was at half battery) and it made a beep and all of the displays went black and the keyboard light went off. I tried rebooting with removing the battery and placing it back in but nothing happened. I plugged it into my charger and I got a little red/orange light on the top right corner and left it for a half hour.
I returned after that and opened it to see if it reset and the internal and extrenal screens were black, no light on the keyboard, and the light had gone out when I took the charger out. Thinking it may have just been turned off I tried the power button to no avail, and then tried the battery reset again with the same results. I have tried this a few times now and the closest thing I have had to see it working is on the internal screen a little grey picture in the center of a battery with a lightning bolt in the middle, which is also grey. I assumed that it may have just been dead and was not getting power so I plugged it in when I saw the image and it just stayed like that for another hour until I tried to reset it once again. Nothing seems to be working. It doesn't make any noises or anything, it is almost as if all power to the LCD screens and keyboard is dead, but foor some reason, sometimes the light on the top right corner of the external screen will stay solid.

Nov 19, 2012My Xperia Mini Pro has just passed 12 months old, it is in pristine condition. Randomly, the speaker has stopped working, it hasn't been dropped or had contact with water. I can use the loudspeaker or handsfree kit but the internal speaker has stopped working. Could it be a software issue or is it likely to be a hardware one?

Feb 14, 2010I'll tell you there is no water damage or dropping of this phone. Its been workin like a champ up until tonight.. received a call and i couldn't hear anything, speakerphone works as normal, but the ear speaker does not. Anyone care to shed some light on how this could randomly happen w/o dropping or water damage?? Looks like i've got to change the whole midplate now.. which makes me extremely unhappy.

Nov 5, 2012I have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. I have happily used maps and the check-in process, but about two weeks ago it stopped working. When I try to check in now, the phone appears to be trying to update the places, but then comes up with the error message "There are currently network problems. Please try again later."I have tried removing my Nokia account, rebooting the phone and reinstalling it. This made no difference.I have also tried deleting the "Cities" folder and then reinstalling the maps via Nokia Suite. Again this has made no difference.

Oct 30, 2011since Friday28th of October, in the morning I am experiencing a rather unpleasant issue: my Nokia E6 dos not connect to my company's email IMAP email accounts. I take the opportunity to report other 3 issuesI have 2 emails accounts @mycompany.com that were regularly being used. I did not update the firmware nor performed any changes on the phone, all of a sudden the E6 does not connect with the email accounts, there is no error message.I tried the following:1) Re-entered the password of the email account, I confirm this is right2) Created one of the email accounts that were on the E6 on 2 other devices (Ipad and Palm Pre), they work perfect, both on Wifi, on my operator,(Orange) and on an other phone operator (Swisscom)3) deleted one email account, from the E6. I restarted the phone (by holding the button 8 seconds) and recreated the email account, this is not possible, I get the following error message:" service temporarily unavailable. Try again later. "4) I repeated the test (point3) both on WiFi and using the 3G operator. I got the same errorOn the E6 there is also a Gmail account, which works flawlessly.Using the email is not an option for my business, so I wish that THIS TIME I will get an effective reply from NOKIA. ( NOKIA don't tell me again that I have to use OVI account or my mailprovider does not work, because as explained I tested the settings on other devices.

Oct 17, 2011All of a sudden on Saturday my nokia E5 stopped picking up a signal and started freezing, the text msg sign is also flashing on the screen. I had used the maps app earlier on in the day so don't know if this has anything to do with it. Its not the sim card because I have it working in another phone. I always know the E5 was a phone!

Nov 22, 2011My Nokia maps navigation has stopped working for no obvious reason. It has been working fine since the Anna upgrade, but now it has just stopped. I can start the application OK, but all I get is the "waiting for GPS" message at the top of the screen. I have left it on for 30 mins+ but no change. The only thing I have done since last using it is install Shazam. However I have uninstalled this but it makes no difference.
